I do not intend to move back to the United States,” reports TMZ.Reps for the singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. Getty Images for Roc NationIt remains unclear as to where Ventura has settled down or when she made the move, but the timing comes nearly a year after the singer testified in her ex Sean “Diddy” Combs’ racketeering and sex trafficking case. As part of the federal criminal trial — which took place in New York — she also submitted a statement saying she is a “citizen of the United States” and is “not a resident of the state of California.” While giving her testimony against Combs, Ventura told the jury of the alleged years of abuse she suffered during her relationship with him, which lasted from 2007 until 2018.During her testimony (shown above is a courtroom sketch of Ventura during Combs’ trial), Ventura told the jury of the years of physical and emotional abuse she suffered during her relationship with Combs. Kristian Prenga's Bold Claim Before Facing Joshua: 'I Respect No One in the Ring!'

Saudi's Futuristic City Dream Crumbles: What Went Wrong?

Saudi's Futuristic City Dream Crumbles: What Went Wrong?

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia’s dreams of a glittering, futuristic city spanning his nation’s desert have come crashing down. The futuristic, carbon-neutral Neom project has long been touted as an urban utopia erected upon cutting-edge, sustainable technology. Its best-known component has been dubbed The Line – a sprawling 170km long, 500m high “smart city” which was supposed to be home to 9 million residents. The Wall Street Journal previously claimed it had sourced leaked internal documents revealing The Line’s projected costs had exploded to a whopping $US8.8 trillion ($12.3 trillion) by 2080.Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s futuristic project faces major cutbacks. Saudi Press Agency/APAImages/ShutterstockBut now, reports have emerged indicating that the state-run company behind the project, Neom, has suspended all work on The Line until at least 2030.The international news platform Semafor reports the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund has had a change of heart. It’s redirecting cash flows affected by the Iran War and global energy transition towards more critical infrastructure, such as ports and AI data centres. And Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s vanity projects are paying the price.Adelaide has already fallen foul of the cost-cutting exercises of MbS’s sovereign wealth fund. Its $US5 billion carrot for the breakaway LIV Golf tour has been cut.Neom Stadium, an integral part of The Line’s first construction phase, was being sold as a prime venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. But the future of the 46,000-seat sports field is yet to be confirmed. And the $1.6 billion Neom Industrial City Connector (NICC) high-speed rail link to The Line has just had its contract terminated. Then there’s the Trojena mountain resort.Visitors discover images and models of ‘The Line’ project, during a new expo. Balkis Press/ABACA/ShutterstockWork on this vast artificial snow field slated to host the 2029 Asian Winter Games has been halted. The swirling engineering marvel was supposed to produce a luxurious, year-round haven 2km above the surrounding desert sands.Market forcesSemafor, citing “people familiar with the matter”, reports that Neom funding is being restricted to its most productive components. This includes $US3 billion for the Oxagon industrial port city on the Red Sea.This has suddenly become a strategic imperative. Most of Saudi Arabia’s ports are in the Persian Gulf. These remain cut off from the rest of the world as the US/Israeli war against Iran struggles to find resolution. The Crown Prince’s cash splash has become unaffordable.Saudi Arabia’s enormous investment projects have failed to generate the expected excitement. Foreign investment and involvement have been poor. And expenditure has soared. That’s despite the Iran war driving crude oil returns to a three-year high.Oil revenues reached $US24.7 billion after the first month of the war as Saudi Arabia diverted some flows through its East-West pipeline, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. And its network of high-quality highways is carrying thousands of tonnes of fertiliser, diverted by truck across the desert, to its Red Sea ports. But the nation’s economy is being hit hard in other sectors affected by supply chain disruptions.A model of “The Line” project featuring a marina with yachts and lush green landscape. Balkis Press/ABACA/Shutterstock“For Saudi Arabia, each month of fighting costs about 1.5 per cent of GDP in extra spending,” writes Bloomberg Economics analyst Ziad Daoud.“For most of its neighbours, the bill is probably higher.”So savings remain a necessity.Severed dreams“The decisions are the result of a strategic review conducted by Neom’s chief executive Aiman al-Mudaifer after his appointment last year,” reports Semafor’s Matthew Martin.Work on The Cube (Mukaab), a $50 billion skyscraper project in Riyadh, was suspended in January. The massive 400m box design had been intended to dominate a new city centre. And construction work on the 57km high-speed rail interconnector between The Line and Oxagon ended this week, at about 20 per cent complete.Work began last year on redesigning The Line’s twin linear skyscrapers to cut costs. They had been envisaged as ultra-green, energy-efficient, AI-connected structures, filled to the brim with all the mod-cons.It was ultimately supposed to house nine million people. And all transport along its 170km length was to be by an advanced internal electric shuttle system.Illustration of a futuristic mirrored building in a miniature city resembling Paris, France. Blondet Eliot/ABACA/ShutterstockThe future of this redesign work is also unknown.“NEOM has also further scaled down ambitions for how many people will live in NEOM by 2030: the target is now up to 100,000 people,” Martin writes.“At one point, NEOM executives had envisioned 1.5 million residents by the end of the decade before revising the forecast down to 300,000 two years ago.”

Melissa Casias' Tragic Discovery: What Happened After Her Last Goodbye?

Melissa Casias' Tragic Discovery: What Happened After Her Last Goodbye?

New Mexico woman Melissa Casias has been found dead nearly one year after she went missing, with her last sighting being when she dropped off lunch for her daughter at work. Casias, 53, was reported missing on June 26, 2025, when she didn’t arrive at work or return home after she was last seen around 2:15 p.m. walking southbound on State Road 518 from Talpa. After she was reported missing, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) classified her as a “missing endangered" person, according to an advisory bulletin. Nearly one year later on Thursday, May 28, a hiker discovered human remains next to a hand gun in the McGaffey Ridge area of the Carson National Forest, the NMSP announced via Facebook on Saturday, May 30. The Office of the Medical Investigator later identified the remains as belonging to Casias. Casias' family also took to their Facebook page “Find Melissa Mondragon Casias” on Sunday, May 31, to confirm her remains had been found. "We confirm that the remains found in Rio Chiquito are Melissa. There will be more information to come but what we can tell you now is she was located in an area previously searched,” the family’s statement read. “This is a lot to process, our hearts are heavy and we fully intend to continue to pursue answers for justice." Casias’ cause and manner of death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Investigator. "The NMSP extend their deepest condolences to the Casias and Mondragon families during this difficult time," the department added in their statement. On the day of her disappearance, Casias brought food to her daughter at work and left the area around 1 p.m., according to KRQE. When her daughter returned home from work, she grew concerned when she discovered that Casias had left behind her cell phone, purse, keys and wallet. The family later learned that a person saw Casias walking alone on the road that same day, which was verified by doorbell cameras located along State Road 518. A Facebook page was created to help amid the search for Casias, which described her as “a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend.” The page also shared that they offered a $7,000 reward for information leading to her return. Additionally, the family set up a GoFundMe page to help raise money for the reward. “This gofundme was set up in Melissa's parent's name, for the sole purpose of offering a REWARD for information leading to Melissa's return. We are looking for support in furthering this investigation,” the page read. “Unfortunately, cases go cold all the time, and the police will sooner or later need to turn their attention to a new crime. We want to keep Melissa's disappearance in the public eye, and encourage people to share what they know.”
