Doria Ragland's 70th Birthday: A Solo Celebration Amidst Family Drama New

Doria Ragland's 70th Birthday: A Solo Celebration Amidst Family Drama

Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, appeared to have a relaxing birthday apart from both her daughter and son-in-law, Prince Harry. The social worker turned 70 years old on Wednesday, and was spotted in California. Ragland looked comfortable in a simple white t-shirt and pajama pants, with her hair up in a bun, in pics obtained by Page Six.She pulled a few weeds on her property and collected her mail, as she took a casual walk outside.Ragland celebrated her milestone birthday as Markle, Harry and their two children — Prince Archie, 7 and Princess Lilibet, 4 — moved back to the UK last week. Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, celebrated her 70th birthday in California Wednesday. Pedro Colo for CA PostThe social worker looked comfortable in a white v-neck t-shirt and pajama pants. Pedro Colo for CA PostTMZ reported last month that Ragland — who’s maintained a close relationship with her grandchildren — plans to remain in California, as she’s active within her yoga community on the West Coast and isn’t ready to temporarily leave her life or friends behind. Markle, 45, and Harry, 41, made the shocking decision to go back to his home country six years after they announced they were stepping away from their duties as “senior” members of the royal family and moving to the US, in a move dubbed “Megxit.”The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quietly moved out of their $14 million Montecito, California, mansion where they’d been living since 2020 without much fanfare — and without ever fully integrating themselves into the wealthy community — their neighbors told the Daily Mail.Ragland pulled some weeds in her garden. Pedro Colo for CA PostShe also appeared to collect her mail. Pedro Colo for CA PostPage Six spoke to the couple’s Montecito neighbors last month, and one insider noted that they “couldn’t be more thrilled” with their decision to move back to the UK.Another neighbor bluntly told us, “Good riddance!”They added, “The town is exhausted by them, the entitlement and the never-ending drama.”Meanwhile, we’re told Markle and Harry’s move is making their potential UK neighbors wary.Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield exclusively told Page Six that the “chattering class” of the North Cotswolds — where Markle and Harry are reportedly house hunting — are “not overly excited.”Ragland, Harry and Markle (pictured here in May 2023) have remained close, but TMZ reported last week that Ragland does not want to leave her life in California behind to move to the UK. Harry and Meghan are different because wherever they go, the headlines tend to follow.”But Markle appears to be taking the chatter in stride. Her brand, As Ever, promoted their new sparkling wine on Instagram Tuesday with a pointed message.“A new chapter to celebrate,” the company wrote on Instagram alongside two photos of the Reserve Brut bottle.

A muchos mi presencia iba a resultar incómoda.En los tiempos que corren de polarización que se siembra desde el poder, no podemos esperar actos auténticamente republicanos. Y yo no me represento a mí, sino a los chihuahuenses.Reitero siempre mi disposición de colaboración con el Gobierno Federal, por el bien de los chihuahuenses”.

T-Boz's Health Struggle: The Sickle Cell Crisis Behind Missed TLC Shows New

T-Boz's Health Struggle: The Sickle Cell Crisis Behind Missed TLC Shows

TLC member Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins’ manager has offered an update on her health after she missed multiple tour dates with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue. “Tionne recently experienced a sickle cell crisis that required hospitalization, and she is currently recovering and regaining her strength,” TLC rep Christal Jordan told USA Today on Wednesday, September 2. “ T-Boz, 56, was absent from several TLC concert dates over the past week, leading to bandmate Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas performing the group’s songs solo. (The third original member of TLC, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, was killed in a car crash in April 2002.) A viral video shot during TLC’s show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, featured Chilli addressing T-Boz’s absence. “I'm going to ask each and every one of you to help me hold her down tonight,” an emotional Chilli, 55, says in the clip. TLC’s manager subsequently praised fans for their “overwhelming” support for T-Boz in light of her recent health problem. “Hearing audiences sing her parts, lift her up in prayer, and surround TLC with so much love has meant more than we can express,” Jordan said. “Sickle cell is a serious illness, so we ask everyone to please keep the prayers coming as Tionne continues to recover. We are immensely grateful for the love and support. T-Boz was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia as a child. Pet the Mayo Clinic, sickle cell anemia impacts the shape of red blood cells as they carry oxygen to the rest of the body. “When you have sickle cell, your red blood cells get stuck on their way around your veins, causing blockages and stopping the oxygen from getting to your vital organs,” the singer wrote in her 2017 memoir, A Sick Life. “Where there’s a lack of oxygen, you can go into a crisis, an attack of severe pain, sometimes located only in a certain spot and sometimes all over your body. Often, it’s hard to breathe or walk or even do something as basic as holding a pen. A crisis can happen without any warning. Just, bam! You’re in the hospital again.” Prior to this latest health scare, TLC cancelled a show at the New York State Fair in Syracuse in August 2024 around 30 minutes before it was supposed to begin. “Shortly after arriving in Syracuse, Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins experienced sudden and severe nausea, vomiting and intense abdominal cramps,” a statement from the group read. “She was immediately seen by a doctor and subsequently taken to the hospital for further evaluation.” T-Boz offered an update on her condition when doctors later diagnosed her with a “severe abdominal blockage.” “I’m on The Mend!!! This Was Just One Of Those Unexpected Things That I Had No Control Over,” she wrote via Instagram on August 24, 2024. “I Look Forward To Making It Up 2 You All … And Hopefully I’ll Get Out Of The Hospital Soon!!! As Soon As Tomorrow If All Goes Well!!! Thank You For Understanding… Blessings Always, T.” TLC’s It’s Iconic Tour with Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue is currently set to wrap up on October 11, 2026, in Concord, California.

Ezra Frech Aims to Transform Perceptions on 'Dancing With the Stars' New

Ezra Frech Aims to Transform Perceptions on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Paralympian Ezra Frech’s reasons for competing on Dancing With the Stars are personal and powerful. “This is my purpose. I want to change the way the world sees disability,” Frech, 21, exclusively shared with Us on Wednesday, September 2, after the full cast for season 35 was revealed on Good Morning America. “I literally feel like I was put on this earth for that reason, and I've attempted to do it through track and field my whole life, and then now I get the opportunity to hopefully do that through dance.” Frech — who was born with congenital limb differences, leading to the amputation of his left leg at the age of 3 — previously won two gold medals at the 2024 Summer Paralympics. When not competing in high jump, long jump and sprinting events, the University of Southern California grad is serving as a motivational speaker and disability advocate. “I am leaning in 100 percent,” Frech shared about his journey into the ballroom. “I want to make my community proud, and hopefully, we can do something special this season.” While it’s too soon for Frech and his DWTS partner, Daniella Karagach, to finalize a team name, the pair are already displaying great chemistry as they prepare to perform their first dance in front of judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. “I feel like we're pretty compatible,” Frech shared from New York City. “She’s already big sis.” Karagach, 33, added, “I'm protector energy. I'm bringing that mother protector energy.” While some in the competition like Jenna Dewan and Harry Shum Jr. may have some prior dance experience, Frech admitted his athletic skills are primarily from a track field. When asked if DWTS is harder than competing in the Paralympics, Frech didn’t hesitate in his answer. “Definitely Dancing with the Stars. The Paralympics and track and field. I grew up doing this since I was 8 years old,” he explained. “It's my bread and butter, and now I'm throwing all that to the back burner for a couple months and gonna try to do everything I can to become a ballroom dancer.” Fortunately, he has a coach who is already impressed. “You're getting there,” Karagach said. “It's only been a week, and you're really getting there.” Dancing With the Stars season 35 kicks off with a two-night premiere on ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET.
