Gracie McGraw's Shocking Revelation: Ozempic and Her Eating Disorder Battle
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s daughter Gracie candidly detailed how taking Ozempic for three years “brought back” her eating disorder. Weight loss is advised for early treatment to “lower the risk of long-term health issues, such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.”Reflecting on taking Ozempic, Gracie shared that she became “way too skinny” but didn’t realize it at the time due to the return of “skinny culture.”“I realized, ‘Holy crap, I have been feeding into my eating disorder this whole time under the guise of this miracle shot,'” she continued.“I think it was probably one of the worst things I’ve ever done for myself, looking back,” Gracie added, saying that now that she’s off the Type II diabetes drug, she’s seeing everyone “getting smaller and smaller” as she gains her “weight back.”“At that time, I thought it was the best decision I ever made because I finally lost weight and got skinny,” she said. Gracie McGraw/Instagram“I’ve been called fat and ugly my entire life, whether that had been from magazines or the internet,” she claimed, explaining that critics would say she had “different genes” than her family because she was “the ‘fat’ one and didn’t have the looks” of her family.Despite the setback, Gracie told her followers that she is “doing so good” but still has “slip-ups from time to time” when it comes to her body image.Gracie also touched on the difference between body shaming and worrying about someone’s health, adding, “Having concern for someone doesn’t also mean you can’t have empathy for their situation.”“But, telling people to not speak on this is incredibly wrong and damaging. It’s promoting created thinness as [a] goal not as danger.
