La Secretaría de Educación Pública (SEP) informó que el miércoles 9 y el jueves 10 de septiembre se suspenderán las clases en todos los niveles educativos, sin embargo, precisó que dicha medida solamente será aplicable para los planteles ubicados en alguno de los 26 municipios pertenecientes a la Sierra Negra del estado de Puebla donde se tienen pronosticadas fuertes precipitaciones, por lo que será hasta el viernes 11 de septiembre cuando se reanuden las clases presenciales.“Ante los alertamientos meteorológicos emitidos por la Coordinación General de Protección Civil y Gestión de Riesgo de Desastres, la Secretaría de Educación Pública del estado de Puebla (SEP) informa que, se suspenderán las actividades escolares los días miércoles 9 y jueves 10 de septiembre de 2026, en todos los niveles educativos de 26 municipios de la Sierra Negra. El servicio educativo continuará a distancia, con apoyo de libros de texto gratuitos, cuadernillos, tareas en casa y actividades académicas con cada nivel educativo. La comunidad escolar deberá reincorporarse el viernes 11 de septiembre”, informaron las autoridades escolares de Puebla a través de un comunicado. Clancy, 36, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder for the killings of her kids Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January 2023. She pleaded not guilty, and her defense argued throughout the trial that she shouldn’t be held criminally responsible due to her severe postpartum psychosis. The case ended in a mistrial on Friday, September 4, after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict. Reddington admitted he was "upset" that the case ended in a mistrial due to one lone juror who refused to say she was not guilty. "He had agreed, according to the note from the forelady, that he had doubt but he would not present the law of reasonable doubt as presented by the judge," Reddington said of the juror. "That's not right and that's why I was upset." Reddington was also asked about potentially having a retrial, and expressed his hopes that he and Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz can come to an agreement.
