The actors had a tumultuous relationship and have separated several times before, after having met on set of a film back in 2012

After 10 years of marriage, Mia Goth has filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf.

This comes months after the Transformers star pleaded guilty to battery charges over the New Orleans bar incident and just one day after his ex-girlfriend, FKA Twigs settled a lawsuit against him.

According to court documents reviewed by TMZ, Goth listed their date of separation as 28 July 2025, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the her and LaBeouf’s split.

The pair met back in 2012 while filming Nymphomaniac and are said to have married in October 2016 in a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by an Elvis impersonator.

In February of this year, it was reported by PEOPLE that Goth and LaBeouf had split up in 2025.

A source claimed to the outlet that their relationship had ‘always been complicated’.

“They weren't getting along and had a lot of drama last year,” the source added.

Goth reportedly ‘encouraged’ the actor to move out.

“She loves him, but she also doesn't need him. She's very independent. She has her own life, her own career and her priority is their daughter,” they claimed. “Shia loves their daughter and stays in touch.”

The LADbible Group has contacted representatives for Goth and LaBeouf for comment.

That news followed LaBeouf’s arrests from an incident on 17 February during Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans.

And in June, he pleaded guilty to the misdemeanour battery charges after allegations he struck three men at a bar. He was arrested after reportedly punching two men and head-butting a third at about 12:45am, having been told the leave R Bar by staff after becoming increasingly aggressive.

LaBeouf received a sentence of two years’ probation as well as rehabilitation for alcohol abuse, sensitivity training and anger management classes.

Just before the news of this divorce filing, it was reported that yesterday (6 October) LaBeouf's ex-girlfriend Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) had dropped her lawsuit against him.

The singer sued the actor back in March after claiming he had enforced an illegal agreement to silence her. Billboard reports that a court filing made in LA on Tuesday said she had agreed to drop the case as he confirmed the NDA was 'terminated and void' and her case had therefore 'achieved its purpose'.

"This represents an important victory for the principle that women who speak out about sexual abuse should not be silenced by NDAs that contravene California law,” her lawyer, Matthew Rosengart writes. “FKA twigs is proud to be able to continue speaking about her experience and advocating for other women, including those who may lack the resources to speak out and defend themselves.”

Shawn Holley, LaBeouf's lawyer, said to LADbible: "Shia wishes Twigs nothing but the best in her life and career and, to that end, has agreed to end their long-standing dispute. Twigs has spoken about this matter for years and there is now nothing to prevent her from continuing to do so.”
