Lori Loughlin's Divorce from Mossimo: The Unseen Scandal Fallout

Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from Mossimo Giannulli after 28 years of marriage, Page Six can confirm.

The “Full House” alum filed the paperwork on Sept. 4, citing irreconcilable differences. She also confirmed their separation date was Aug. 31, 2025.

In her documents, Loughlin confirmed the couple signed a prenup on Oct. 28, 1997. However, the agreement was amended on Aug. 11, 2015 — five years before she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud in the college admissions scandal.

The Hallmark actress also asked that spousal support be determined later and requested that properties, assets and debts be split according to their prenup. She is also asking that her estranged husband cover her attorney’s fees and costs.

TMZ was the first to report the news.

On Oct. 2, 2025, Page Six confirmed the former couple had separated.

“Lori and Mossimo are living apart now,” a rep for Loughlin told us. “There are no legal proceedings underway.”

The exes, who tied the knot on Nov. 27, 1997, have two children together: Isabella Rose, 27, and influencer Olivia Jade, 26.

Shortly after news of their separation, sources told Us Weekly that there was “no chance” of them getting back together.

“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” an insider told the outlet.

“This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”

The source noted that the “Fuller House” alum initiated the split because she “thought a break could help” their marriage, but “they are not on the same page” anymore.

Loughlin, 62, and Giannulli, 63, made headlines in 2019 due to their involvement in the college admissions scandal.

In May 2020, they pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California as crew recruits — despite not being rowers.

The actress served two months in federal prison in Dublin, California, and was released in December 2020. Giannulli completed his five-month prison sentence in Lompoc, California, in April 2021.

After the college admissions scandal, their marriage was reportedly “never the same.”

“The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or recovered their relationship after that,” a source told Us Weekly on Jan. 9, adding that Loughlin felt Giannulli “got her involved” in the situation.

“She didn’t fully blame him, but he spearheaded it,” the source said, noting that the “90120” actress “never fully forgave him and never fully got over it.”

Since their separation, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose have had a “tough” time but “aren’t taking sides” in the split.

“They both love their parents and just want them to be happy,” a source told People in October 2025, insisting the girls don’t feel any “drama or resentment.”

Both Loughlin and Giannulli have been romantically linked to other people since their split. The “Summerland” alum, who has been dating since the split, was pictured embracing James Tupper one day before news of her split from broke.

The Mossimo founder, for his part, was spotted with 32-year-old stylist Hannah Harrison on multiple occasions.
