Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's NYC Date Night Outfit Steals the Spotlight
Taylor Swift enjoyed a night out with husband Travis Kelce in style.
The newlyweds stepped out in New York City for dinner at Ambassadors Clubhouse on Sunday, September 6, in photos obtained by Page Six.
Swift, 36, dazzled in a silky brown metallic Stella McCartney halter dress ($2,100). The maxi-dress had a diagonal brown and Lurex stripe pattern and a gold chain neck. She paired the dress with matching strappy heels, a brown purse from the designer ($1,815) and her opal ring and bracelet set that Kelce, 36, gifted her last Christmas.
Kelce, for his part, looked dapper in a white and green striped button-up shirt and brown pants. The football player completed his ensemble with checkerboard Vans slip-ons.
Swift and Kelce’s outing comes two months after they tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in July. The couple exchanged vows in front of nearly 1,000 of their closest friends and family. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler while Taylor and Travis’ siblings, Austin Swift and Jason Kelce, served as their Man of Honor and Best Man, respectively.
“Taylor was emotional while reciting her vows but kept her composure,” an insider told Us about the nuptials. “You could tell she put a lot of work and time into writing her vows. Travis teared up more than Taylor. They shared very personal details and anecdotes that some guests had never even heard before.”
Earlier this month, Travis gushed about his wedding day during an episode of his and brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast.
“At this point, we’re what, over a month out? It’s been so much fun,” Travis said. “First of all, the night was a night we’ll never forget. Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, you know, from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening, and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night.”
Travis referred to the evening as a “magical night” and expressed his gratitude to MSG for making his and Swift’s dream wedding come true.
“Thank you [to] everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this,” he shared. “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that. I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also that helped put the show on, and it was a very magical, magical night.”
