Kayla Rae Reid is celebrating her divorce from Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte more than a year after they separated.

“As of July 1st 2026, 9:59 am, I am officially divorced. 🙌🏼,” the model announced via Instagram Wednesday alongside a photo of herself in a yellow dress.

Reid also posted a photo of the viral Nicole Kidman “divorce photo,” which shows the actress joyfully raising her arms in the air after her 2001 split from Tom Cruise.

While the photo of Kidman was rumored to be taken after she left her attorney’s office, the “Practical Magic” star clarified that the photo was taken on a movie set and “wasn’t real life” during a 2024 interview with British GQ.

Several people rushed to congratulate Reid, 34, with one asking in the comment section, “When’s the divorce party!??”

“OUR FREE WOMAN. the best is get to come! ❤️,” another commented.

“She’s baaaaaaaackkkkkkkk,” a third added.

Page Six confirmed that Lochte, 41, and Reid had finalized their divorce more than a year after the latter announced they had split in March 2025.

“I made the hard decision to end my marriage after deep prayer and reflection,” the real estate professional wrote via Instagram last June.

“I hold marriage in the highest regard, so this has been one of the most painful, revealing, and challenging seasons of my life,” Reid continued.

As for Lochte’s part, he announced that he was “deeply grateful for the life we’ve built together and especially for the love we share for our three children.”

The former couple tied the knot in a 2018 private ceremony at their Florida estate. They later welcomed their now 9-year-old son, Caiden Zane, and daughters, Live Rae, 6, and Georgia June, 2.

Lochte and Reid’s divorce, however, quickly became contentious, as she accused the athlete of cheating on her with his now-fiancé, Molly Gillihan, “for many years,” during an episode of “The Comeback Era” podcast in March.

Additionally, the swimmer bragged Gillihan was “10 times better” than Reid via an alleged scathing email amid their divorce battle in April.

Lochte and Gillihan got engaged after 14 months of dating last month.
