Katie Bates and Travis Clark Plan Relocation After Scandal

Katie Bates and her family are relocating following her husband Travis Clark's admission of infidelity. Bates shared the news through a video diary on Instagram, indicating a fresh start ahead.

During a post on May 16, Bates expressed that recent months have been transformative and challenging. She mentioned engaging in difficult conversations, therapy, and prayers to determine what is best for their family's future.

Bates stated that despite some parts of their life being public, there are personal struggles influencing their decision to move. She acknowledged that moving doesn't automatically resolve issues but emphasized it's a step they've thoughtfully considered.

Travis Clark's Public Apology

In January, Clark admitted to having an affair shortly after Bates experienced a miscarriage. He publicly apologized, expressing regret and taking responsibility for his actions. Clark has since been focusing on marital healing and personal growth.

He reiterated in March his commitment to fighting for his marriage, confessing feelings of shame and disappointment over past decisions.

Focus on Family Healing

Bates highlighted the couple's effort in making decisions that promote healing and a positive environment for their family. She concluded by sharing excitement over their upcoming move and requested prayers as they enter this new phase.

The family has purchased a new home at an undisclosed location and plans to move within 30 days.
