Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg and Duke women's basketball player Arianna Roberson confirmed their relationship through social media on May 14.

Social Media Announcements

Roberson, 20, first shared a TikTok video featuring herself with Flagg, 19, which highlighted their recent vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Shortly after, Flagg posted a photo of them kissing on his Instagram Story.

Speculation and Confirmation

Rumors about their relationship had been circulating since April after Roberson was seen with Flagg's family at his Rookie of the Year press conference. The speculation intensified when they separately posted photos from the same location in Turks and Caicos earlier in May.

Their Basketball Careers

Flagg joined the Dallas Mavericks as the top overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft after an impressive college season at Duke, where he led the team to the Final Four. During his rookie NBA season, Flagg averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

Roberson missed the 2024-25 season due to injury but made a strong comeback this past season as she helped Duke reach the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

She is also connected to basketball through her brother Andre Roberson, a former NBA guard now playing in Russia.
