Eric Dane's Last Role in Euphoria Celebrated

Priya Jain, ex-girlfriend of the late actor Eric Dane, spoke about his scenes in the third season of Euphoria which were filmed before his passing. Jain called it an incredible show and expressed her admiration for Dane's performance.

Dane's Career and Health Battle

Dane played Cal Jacobs in Euphoria since its premiere in 2019. Despite announcing his ALS diagnosis in early 2025, he continued working, including filming for the show's third season before his death at 53 in February.

The actor also appeared in other projects like Countdown and Kabul. HBO expressed sadness over his passing, praising his talent during their collaboration on Euphoria.

Tributes from Friends and Colleagues

Creator Sam Levinson released a heartfelt statement mourning Dane's loss, emphasizing the honor of working with him. Levinson discussed the challenges faced between seasons, partly due to paying respects to lost cast members.

The third season also honors Angus Cloud, another late cast member who passed away in July 2025 from an accidental overdose.
