Warner Bros. Television has greenlit a spinoff from The Big Bang Theory, titled Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. The show is set to premiere on HBO Max in July 2025.

The spinoff stars Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, and Kevin Sussman. Posehn returns as Bert, a Caltech geologist; Sussman reprises his role as Stuart Bloom, comic book store owner; and Lapkus as Denise, Stuart's girlfriend.
