Former "Storage Wars" star Darrell Sheets died on Wednesday at 67. Prior to his death, a final Facebook photo showed him walking his dog.

Last Social Media Appearances

Sheets was photographed in a black tank top, gym shorts, and a beanie in the Facebook post shared on February 6. A year before, an Instagram photo captured him with friends during a trip to Lake Havasu, Arizona.

The caption on the Instagram snap read, “Havasu show me your junk,” highlighting his love for the area and its visitors.

Discovering His Passing

The Lake Havasu Police Department reported that Sheets was found at home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officers responded to a call around 2 a.m. local time regarding a deceased individual.

A&E expressed condolences through a statement to People, mourning the loss of their "Storage Wars" family member.

Health Struggles and Legacy

In 2019, Sheets experienced a heart attack and revealed on social media his battle with congestive heart failure and lung issues. He appeared in 163 episodes of "Storage Wars" from 2010 to 2023. After retiring, he operated an antique shop in Arizona.
