Cher Stunned by Secret Granddaughter from Son's Past Relationship

Cher reportedly discovered she has a secret granddaughter after her son Elijah Blue Allman's child was born over a decade ago. This revelation came from former model Kayti Edwards, who shared details of her daughter's birth in an interview.

Uncovering Family Ties

Edwards claimed that Cher contacted her in June 2021 after hearing rumors about the child from Allman. Initially, Cher dismissed these claims as unlikely but later reached out to confirm them.

Edwards described Cher's reaction as shocked and speechless when she learned about her granddaughter. Cher expressed her joy saying, "Oh my God, I’m finally a grandma."

History with Elijah Blue Allman

Edwards recounted how she became pregnant after a brief relationship with Allman in 2010. Although Allman was aware of his daughter, he allegedly chose not to be actively involved as a parent.

In 2021, after an overdose incident, Allman contacted Edwards attempting to reconcile. He subsequently re-entered Edwards' and Ever's lives just before another overdose in 2023.

A New Relationship with Cher

Following these events, Edwards and her daughter Ever were invited to Cher's Malibu home, where they began forming a bond with the pop star. Edwards noted how welcoming and kind Cher was during their visit.

Cher reportedly spent time talking and playing with Ever, even taking interest in showing some of her past concert costumes, creating a memorable experience for the young girl.

While Cher has embraced this new family connection, she also filed for conservatorship over Elijah's estate due to concerns about his struggles with drug dependency and financial management issues.
