James Marsters and Patricia Jasmin Rahman's Divorce: What You Need to Know
James Marsters and his ex-wife Patricia Jasmin Rahman finalized their divorce nearly five years after first announcing their separation. Marsters will pay spousal support to Rahman until June 2026 or until her remarriage or death, whichever comes first.
Details of the Support Agreement
The court documents reveal that Marsters, who has a monthly income of $16,000, is required to pay $4,000 per month in spousal support to Rahman. Both parties agreed that Marsters' acting career results in an inconsistent income.
Division of Assets
As part of the settlement, Rahman retains several personal items including a 2012 Mazda and half of an IRA account worth over $150,000. Marsters keeps a 2012 Honda Accord and the former couple's Los Angeles home but must pay Rahman nearly $119,000 as part of the property division.
Marriage History
Marsters and Rahman were married on January 14, 2011, following his proposal in Germany in 2010. They separated in November 2020. Prior to this marriage, Marsters was married to Liane Davidson with whom he shares a son.
In addition to his biological child, Marsters raised his niece from the age of five and considers her to be like a daughter. He has expressed that one significant reward of parenthood is the opportunity to love another human deeply.
