Share Post

Angela Meadows, mother of "Deadliest Catch" star Todd Meadows, has asked the show's producers not to air footage of her son's fatal accident. Angela wants only positive memories of Todd on the show.

Family's Grief and Requests

Angela expressed her family's desire to keep the accident footage private and requested videos of Todd crabbing for personal memories. This plea follows comments from other family members mourning Todd's unexpected passing.

Todd's sister, Mackenzie, shared their deep pain, stating that his memory will live through his sons. His father, Lucas, spoke about Todd's lifelong passion for fishing, which began at age three.

Details of the Tragic Accident

Todd died on February 25 at age 25 after falling overboard while crabbing north of Dutch Harbor. Despite being recovered after 10 minutes, attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

The incident occurred during filming for the Discovery Channel show and was described as "the most tragic day" by Captain Rick Shelford in a Facebook post.

Support for Todd's Family

In honor of Todd, a GoFundMe page has been created to support his three sons. Angela emphasized the importance of preserving Todd's positive legacy despite any criticism he faced during his life.
