Traffic Camera Spotted a Man Driving: Here's What Happened

A man was surprised when a traffic camera flashed as he drove past, even though he believed he was driving under the speed limit.

After seeing the flash, he decided to drive past the camera again at an even slower speed, but once more, it flashed. Frustrated, he tried this a third time, creeping by at a very slow pace, only for the camera to flash yet again.

Unintended Consequences

Concluding that the camera was malfunctioning, the man went home assuming no penalty would follow. However, a week later, he received three tickets in the mail.

The fines were not for speeding as initially suspected but for failing to wear his seatbelt each time he drove past the camera.
