Kaley Cuoco Reveals A-lister Who Terrified Her on TV Set
Kaley Cuoco shared her uncomfortable experience working with Rose McGowan on "Charmed" in 2005, describing it as a challenging time due to a less-than-warm reception from some co-stars.
Joining the "Charmed" Cast
During an episode of Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast, Cuoco detailed the anxiety she felt when she joined the established cast, including Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, and Holly Marie Combs. At just 21, she was stepping into a close-knit group for a gallery shoot.
Reception from Co-Stars
The gallery shoot went smoothly, but lunch proved awkward as Cuoco recalled feeling extremely nervous around her new colleagues. She mentioned that Alyssa Milano welcomed her warmly with a big hug and kindness.
However, Cuoco noted that Rose McGowan was less enthusiastic about her joining the show. Cuoco admitted uncertainty about whether McGowan liked her, and she found entering an established show difficult.
Reflecting on the Experience
Cuoco further elaborated during an interview with the Independent, recalling mixed experiences with the cast. While some were wonderful to her, others were not friendly. She remembered both types of interactions clearly.
A representative for McGowan did not respond to requests for comment regarding Cuoco's remarks.
