Dr. Mikhail Varshavski shared a humorous story about actress Kristen Bell considering drinking her own urine for health reasons, after being pranked by a co-star. Bell had messaged Varshavski, popularly known as "Dr. Mike," on TikTok for advice.

The Request

Bell reached out to Varshavski because a friend had suggested the unusual idea. During an upcoming episode of “The Basement Yard” podcast, Dr. Mike revealed this amusing anecdote to hosts Joe Santagato and Frank Alvarez.

Prank Unveiled

The doctor assured that revealing Bell’s name wasn’t a breach of confidentiality since it wasn’t a formal medical consultation. He explained how Bell's co-star playfully tricked her into thinking she was consuming urine by creating drinks that resembled it.

A Humorous Misunderstanding

Varshavski advised Bell against the practice, and eventually, Bell discovered it was all part of an elaborate prank by Justine Lupe on the set of their Netflix series.

Although a representative for Bell did not immediately comment on the incident, she had previously discussed reaching out to Varshavski on her husband Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast.
