Peter Dinklage's Heroic Act: Saving a Columnist on Icy Steps
Peter Dinklage, known for his role in "Game of Thrones," recently helped Linda Stasi, a former columnist, navigate icy stairs in Brooklyn. Stasi was injured and needed assistance.
Unexpected Rescue
Stasi, 78, was struggling to descend icy steps due to a knee injury when she called out for help to a passerby. She didn't realize it was Dinklage, fresh from his performance in “Twelfth Night” at Central Park's Delacorte Theater.
A Helping Hand
Dinklage quickly came to her aid, encouraging her to lean on him as he assisted her down the slippery stairs. Stasi described the encounter with the actor as charming and kind.
Snowy Context
New York City had been blanketed by heavy snow, with Central Park recording nearly 20 inches due to recent storms. The inclement weather made travel treacherous throughout the city.
Future Projects
Dinklage has upcoming projects including films that premiered at Sundance: “Wicker” and “The S–theads.” Meanwhile, Stasi's book “The Descendant,” based on a family linked to "The Godfather," is set for release on March 10.
