The call involved a male dispatcher with the Los Angeles Fire Department confirming to first responders that Katherine’s wound appeared to be “self-inflicted.” The individual who reported the incident was present but unable to enter Katherine's bedroom at her Hollywood Hills residence.
Katherine's Passing
Katherine died on February 23, at age 42, in what is believed to be a suicide. On Tuesday, a spokesperson for the LAFD confirmed first responders were dispatched to her address at 6:41 p.m.
