Savannah Guthrie's Husband Rushes to Tucson Amid Search for Her Mother-in-Law
Michael Feldman arrived in Arizona to support his wife, Savannah Guthrie, amid the ongoing search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
The Search Efforts
Feldman was seen at Tucson International Airport on Tuesday, carrying two suitcases and a backpack. Savannah has stayed in Arizona as the search for her 84-year-old mother continues into its 17th day.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen on January 31 after being dropped off at home by her son-in-law. The next morning, she missed a church service, prompting authorities to be notified of her disappearance.
Investigation Progress
The FBI released surveillance footage showing a suspect disarming Nancy's front door camera early February 1. Several people have been detained and released without connection to the case.
Savannah Guthrie has asked for public help via social media, sharing the footage and urging those who recognize the suspect to come forward.
Authorities' Efforts
The FBI has increased the reward for information leading to Nancy's location or the arrest of those involved to $100,000. Investigators are attempting to track Nancy’s pacemaker using high-tech Bluetooth signal detectors.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos acknowledged that finding Nancy might take years but remains determined in their efforts. Savannah's family members have been cleared as suspects in this case.
