Barker, aged 53, expressed his positive memories of working on the show during his appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast. He noted that while he enjoyed being part of the production, he was aware that some contestants faced challenges during filming.

The three-part docuseries, which premiered on Netflix on February 16, included interviews with Barker and other former judges, reflecting on their time and insights from behind-the-scenes.

Relationship with Tyra Banks

Despite being dismissed from ANTM in 2012, Barker mentioned there is no bad blood between him and Tyra Banks. He explained that they maintain a friendly relationship, often meeting at events where they remain cordial.

Barker also noted that while his departure from the show was initially hurtful, he has moved past it with no lasting resentment.

Insights on Jay Manuel and Photography Selection

Barker was surprised by revelations made by former colleague Jay Manuel in the docuseries. He reached out to Manuel after realizing how much he had been going through on set.

Addressing the selection process for photographs used in the show, Barker reiterated that top photos were not always chosen based on a photographer’s preference. Instead, decisions were largely influenced by other factors, often beyond their control.
