Share Post

Alyssa Farah Griffin was absent from The View on February 10 as she went into labor before the broadcast. Whoopi Goldberg confirmed the news during the "Hot Topics" segment, announcing Alyssa's hospitalization as the audience cheered.

Griffin, pregnant with her first baby, shared her journey on the show in October 2025. She and husband Justin Griffin went through five rounds of IVF before successfully conceiving, with the baby due in February.

Alyssa expressed gratitude for her supportive husband and joy for their growing family. Her absence from a December 2025 broadcast was due to a stomach virus while pregnant, which she shared with fans on Instagram.

As Alyssa neared her due date, her cohosts threw her a baby shower on air, showing their love and support. The show's executive producer announced Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman would serve as guest cohosts during Alyssa's maternity leave.

Guest cohosts like Savannah Chrisley, Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood, and Whitney Cummings will join The View during Alyssa's absence, starting after the February 13 taping.
