Brittany Renner Settles Child Support Dispute with PJ Washington, Prefers Peace Over Cash [Clip]
Brittany Renner has decided to end her child support battle with NBA player PJ Washington and start fresh in Atlanta.
On her show "Facets of Life with Brittany Renner," she discussed dropping the child support case in California and her move to Georgia with her new partner Rashad Scroggins.
Renner shared on social media that she voluntarily dismissed the California child support case and emphasized her choice to move to Atlanta as a step towards her happiness.
She mentioned feeling burdened by the child support issue in California and how it impacted her co-parenting efforts and personal well-being.
Renner highlighted the support she received from a friend to pursue child support and expressed her disappointment in Washington's absence in their son's life since May 7, 2025.
She emphasized that money does not equate to happiness and that her son's presence is more valuable to her than financial stability.
Renner and Washington have a 4-year-old son, PJ Jr., and Washington had a $90 million deal with the Dallas Mavericks, with a court order for $5,500 monthly support before Renner dropped the case.
