A woman from Wisconsin has been arrested for allegedly intentionally hitting two elderly individuals with her car in a parking lot before boasting about it on social media and later attacking a random man with a knife.

Katelyn A. Harmon, 25, is facing multiple charges including attempted murder, failure to report an injury crash, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

The incidents occurred on a Monday morning in the parking lot of the Gurnee Hills shopping center, where Harmon struck a 79-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman with her Toyota Camry.

The 79-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Advocate Condell Hospital, while the 60-year-old woman sustained an ankle injury and was transported to Lake Forest Hospital.

Harmon took to Facebook to brag about the incidents, posting about running over people and even sharing a video of herself with a knife taunting the police.

Search and Arrest

Police responding to the incidents found Harmon engaged in a physical altercation and ultimately arrested her after she approached an officer aggressively.

Despite Harmon's claims of being homeless and outsmarting the police, she was taken into custody after a struggle with a male driver in a nearby parking lot.

Investigation Ongoing

Authorities stated that the incidents involving Harmon seem to be random acts of violence and assured there is no ongoing threat to the public related to these events.
