Rapper Lil Jon has confirmed the tragic death of his 27-year-old son, Nathan Smith, who was found in a pond near their home after being missing for several days. In a heartfelt social media post, Lil Jon expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing Nathan as a kind and talented individual.

Nathan, also known as DJ Young Slade, was reported missing on February 3 from his residence in Milton, Georgia. The search efforts involved multiple agencies, including K-9 teams and volunteers, as he had left without his phone and may have been disoriented.

On February 6, a body believed to be Nathan's was recovered from a pond in Mayfield Park by divers from the Cherokee County Fire Department. While awaiting official confirmation from the Fulton County Medical Examiner, authorities have indicated that there is no suspicion of foul play in his death.
