Meet Tyler Shough, the 2026 NFL Rookie of the Year Winner

Quarterback Tyler Shough was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 2026 after an impressive debut season. Shough's breakout year included setting multiple rookie records with the New Orleans Saints, where he threw for 2,384 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Shough's journey to success involved playing college football at three different schools before being drafted by the Saints in 2025. He signed a four-year rookie contract and quickly rose to the starting quarterback position midway through his rookie season.

During his college career, Shough played at Oregon, Texas Tech, and Louisville, accumulating impressive stats before declaring for the NFL Draft. He was selected by the Saints as the 40th overall pick in the 2025 draft.
