A teenager underwent multiple surgeries after a rabid beaver attacked him while he was visiting a state park in Maryland with his family.Dominick Cebula, 13, was enjoying a swim at Cunningham Falls State Park and looking at fish underwater July 26 when he felt the animal latch onto his chest and refuse to let go.“He grabbed its head and a leg, and he tried to get it off of him,” his father, Jeff Cebula, told WUSA 9. “At that point, he kind of felt that it was locked onto him. And then it started shaking its head, kind of like a dog would do.” Dominick Cebula, 13, is recovering from severe wounds and nerve damage after a rabid beaver attacked him during a family trip on July 26 at Cunningham Falls State Park in Frederick, Maryland. WUSA9The frantic teen was able to free himself from the beaver’s toothy grasp, but as he backed away it struck again, lunging and biting his right hand.After fighting it off a second time, Dominick was airlifted to Johns Hopkins Hospital to have his wounds treated and receive a course of rabies post-exposure treatment.“It’s not just one shot,” Jeff Cebula said. “It’s multiple shots around each bite site.”The beaver later tested positive for rabies.The teen endured three surgeries to treat wounds the animal left on his chest and hands, as well as repair severe nerve damage he suffered in the attack.The incident marred an otherwise delightful 30-year tradition of annual family visits to the park, leaving Jeff Cebula wondering how it could have happened after so many peaceful summers.“I think that now I’m going to be a lot more aware of my surroundings,” he said. The beaver latched onto Dominick’s chest and refused to let go. WUSA9While he’s still on the road to recovery, his wild summer vacation story – with the bite marks to prove it – made him “pretty popular on the first day of school” as he shared his harrowing tale with classmates, his dad told the outlet.The attack on Dominick Cebula was one of three similar incidents involving rabid beavers reported in Maryland in the last few weeks, including an attack on a fisherman at the same park 10 days later.A rabid beaver also attacked a 10-year-old in a canoe at Seneca Creek State Park around 40 miles south.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported a 17% increase in rabies-related inquiries this summer.

During an appearance at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on 4 September the US rapper, whose real name is Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, gave a speech calling to 'free Palestine'.His comments were met with a backlash and yesterday, the rapper confirmed he’d been dropped from the remainder of the tour. AdvertIn a lengthy post on social media, Macklemore claimed that he was let go from the tour after New England Patriots’ boss Robert Kraft, who owns the Gillette Stadium, gave Sheeran an ‘ultimatum’. I need to be true to myself and my ancestors who resisted colonisation, and fought for a freedom that I enjoy today in Ireland. FREE PALESTINE."Shortly after Finneas, who is the brother of Billie Eilish, also confirmed he would be dropping out of the Loop Tour. Finneas had been slated to open for Sheeran on six South American dates in late November and early December.In a statement shared on social media, he wrote: “Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. “I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people.”Rowe and Finneas aren’t the only stars to count themselves out of the tour. Irish band Beoga have also shared a statement saying they will not be taking part. In a statement on social media, Beoga said: “We are Irish people who understand colonialism. As founding members of the Irish Artists for Palestine movement, we are committed activists for justice and will continue to be.”Danish pop band Lukas Graham also confirmed it would be exiting the tour just moments after Finneas made his announcement. “We should be able to speak about war, about civilians being killed, about children who deserve to grow up. Wherever they live. Whatever flag flies over them,” they wrote on Instagram. “I can’t put these words out into the world and carry on with this tour as things stand. On za Nova.rs kaže da je ponosan što su ga izabrali, da smatra da je samo prvi među jednakima i poručuje da posao lekara neće zanemariti zbog politike. Oglas Da je profesor Srdanović prvi na studentskoj listi javnost je i zvanično obaveštena juče, nakon što su studenti predali kutije sa potpisima u Republičku izbornu komisiju (RIK).Profesor je od početka blokada pružao podršku studentima, govorio na njihovim protestima, a potom i skupovima, pa njegovo imenovanje na čelo liste i nije iznenađenje.“Ponosan sam što su me studenti izabrali i na sva imena na njihovoj listi, ali moram da naglasim da smatram da sam samo prvi među jednakima”, kaže za Nova.rs prof. dr Srdanović. Vetëm një ditë para shpalljes së aktgjykimit në rastin ndaj ish-krerëve të Ushtrisë Çlirimtare të Kosovës, Kadri Veselit dhe Jakup Krasniqit u është vazhduar masa e paraburgimit edhe për dy muaj të tjerë. Vendimi është marrë nga gjyqtari Charles Smith, ndërsa lajmi është raportuar nga Klankosova.VAZHDO LEXIMIN ME POSHTE!Sipas raportimeve, vendimi i fundit lidhet konkretisht me Veselin dhe Krasniqin, ndërsa në momentin e raportimit nuk kishte të dhëna për një vendim të ngjashëm lidhur me Hashim Thaçin dhe Rexhep Selimin. Zgjatja e paraburgimit vjen në një moment veçanërisht të rëndësishëm, pasi më 16 shtator pritet të shpallet aktgjykimi përfundimtar në këtë proces gjyqësor.Megjithatë, vazhdimi i paraburgimit nuk nënkupton në asnjë mënyrë se ndaj Veselit apo Krasniqit është marrë ndonjë vendim për fajësinë e tyre. Bëhet fjalë për një masë procedurale që lidhet me statusin e tyre të paraburgimit, ndërsa vendimi mbi akuzat do të bëhet i ditur gjatë shpalljes së aktgjykimit.Procesi gjyqësor ndaj katër ish-drejtuesve të UÇK-së në Dhomat e Specializuara të Kosovës në Hagë ka zgjatur më shumë se dy vjet dhe është shoqëruar me një numër të madh seancash, dëshmish dhe materialesh të administruara si prova. Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi dhe Krasniqi kanë deklaruar vazhdimisht se nuk janë fajtorë për akuzat e ngritura ndaj tyre.Aktgjykimi pritet të shpallet gjatë ditës së 16 shtatorit, ndërsa katër të akuzuarit do të dëgjohen në një rend të caktuar. Fillimisht pritet të shpallet vendimi për Hashim Thaçin, pas tij për Kadri Veselin, më pas për Rexhep Selimin dhe në fund për Jakup Krasniqin.Rasti ka tërhequr vëmendje të madhe në Kosovë dhe jashtë saj, për shkak të pozitave që katër të akuzuarit kanë pasur gjatë dhe pas luftës së Kosovës. Thaçi ka qenë president i Kosovës dhe një nga figurat kryesore politike të vendit, ndërsa Veseli ka drejtuar Kuvendin dhe Partinë Demokratike të Kosovës.Edhe Rexhep Selimi dhe Jakup Krasniqi kanë pasur role të rëndësishme politike dhe publike pas përfundimit të luftës. Selimi ka qenë deputet dhe një nga figurat e njohura të skenës politike kosovare, ndërsa Krasniqi ka mbajtur edhe detyrën e ushtruesit të presidentit të Kosovës.Në ditën e shpalljes së aktgjykimit pritet të ketë masa të shtuara sigurie në Hagë, ndërsa në Kosovë vëmendja është përqendruar te zhvillimet rreth Gjykatës Speciale. Mbështetës të ish-krerëve të UÇK-së kanë paralajmëruar gjithashtu tubime dhe protesta në lidhje me vendimin që do të merret.Procesi në Hagë është ndjekur me interes të veçantë edhe për shkak të rëndësisë që mund të ketë aktgjykimi për figurat kryesore të luftës së Kosovës. Pavarësisht rezultatit, vendimi pritet të hapë një kapitull të ri për këtë proces, i cili prej vitesh ka qenë një nga çështjet më të diskutuara në Kosovë.Në këtë fazë, zgjatja e paraburgimit për Veselin dhe Krasniqin është vetëm një nga zhvillimet e fundit procedurale para ditës së shumëpritur të aktgjykimit. Tashmë vëmendja kryesore është përqendruar te 16 shtatori, kur do të bëhet e ditur se cili do të jetë vendimi i gjykatës ndaj katër ish-krerëve të UÇK-së.Shpallja e aktgjykimit pritet të ndiqet nga afër në Kosovë, në rajon dhe nga familjarët e mbështetësit e të akuzuarve. Pas më shumë se dy vitesh proces gjyqësor, vendimi i Dhomave të Specializuara do të përcaktojë fatin juridik të Hashim Thaçit, Kadri Veselit, Rexhep Selimit dhe Jakup Krasniqit në këtë çështje. Îl cheamă Ciprian Pamfile și este un susținător înrăit al lui Călin Georgescu.El a devenit „celebru” când a intrat pe teren în timpul partidei dintre România și Austria disputată pe Arena Națională.Ciprian Pamfile este unul dintre cei 30 de oameni care au fost reținuți de jandarmi pentru a da explicații în legătură cu ce au făcut pe parcursul zilei.Unii dintre așa-zișii demonstranți din Piața Victoriei au avut fețele acoperite. Au fost inclusiv femei care aveau pregătită o eșarfă pentru a-și ascundefața. Explicația este foarte simplă: dincolo de imaginile care sunt înregistrate de camerele de luat vederi ale jurnaliștilor la astfel de evenimente, jandarmii filmează evenimentele și, pe baza imaginilor pe care le obțin, îi pot identifica pe cei care au fost foarte violenți.Jurnaliștii G4Media au analizat imaginile de astăzi din piață și au identificat câțiva dintre cei mai activi agitatori din Piața Victoriei în mai multe fotografii din trecut, fotografii făcute cu ocazia mai multor evenimente ale lui Călin Georgescu.Bărbatul cu lupul dacic, fotografiat în dese rânduri alături de fostul candidat pro-rusÎn Piața Victoriei s-a făcut remarcat și bărbatul cu lupul dacic. A fost foarte activ, îi instiga pe oameni la violență. În imagini apare cocoțat undeva în apropierea unui stâlp pe care sunt semne de circulație. Același bărbat este găsit de jurnaliștii G4Media în fotografii realizate la Suceava, atunci când s-au produs inundațiile. Cumhuriyet Gazetesi yazarı Şükran Soner 1 Eylül 2026 günü hayatını kaybetti. Kardeşi de vefat etti. İki gün önce de eski eşi de Ahmet Gündüz Ketenci de vefat etti. Şükran ablanın oğlu devrim bir hafta için annesini babasını teyzesini kaybetti. Yaşlılık insan hayatının bir evresi. Ben yaşlandığımda ne olacak, hareketlerim yavaşlayacak ve belki zihnim de yavaşlayacak. Unutkanlıklarım artacak, demansım olacak belki.- Şükran Soner'in de son dönemler çok normal olarak böyleydi. 80 yaşında vefat etti. Bu arada umarım ben de 80 yaşında onun kadar kuvvetli bir hafızaya sahip olurum. Ancak onun da hafızasında bazı yavaşlamalar vardı. İnsan yaşlanınca daha kolay kandırılabiliyor. Son zamanlarda tapu işlemi yaptınız mı?" diyor. "Biz sizden dolandırıcılığı ortaya çıkarmak için bize yardımcı olmanızı istiyoruz" diyor. "Bizimle bankaya gelin paranızı çekin o parayı çektiğinizde bize vereceksiniz. Biz de onun üzerinde işlem yapacağız" diyorlar." Hatta öncesinde fotoğraflar çekiyorlar. Şükran Abla bayağı polislerle gittiğini düşünüyor. Bankadan 17 Bin ABD Doları ve 200 Bin TL çekiyor. Parayı alıp bankadan dışarı çıkıyor. Dolandırıcılar parayı alıyor. Operasyonu tamamladık paranızı bankaya yatırdık diyorlar.SADECE PARA DEĞİL EVİNİ DE KAYBETMİŞ"- Şükran Soner dönüyor çantasında iki anahtarının olmadığını fark ediyor. O gün tapuya gitmeye karar veriyorlar. 6 Mayıs günü Şükran Soner'e "Evinizi satışa veriyoruz bu telefon sürekli açık kalacak biz sizi dinleyeceğiz" diyorlar. Una situación de alto riesgo pero resuelta con precisión impecable se registró la noche del 14 de septiembre de 2026 en Centroamérica. Un vuelo comercial de una aerolínea Colombiana, que se disponía a aterrizar en el Aeropuerto Internacional Mundo Maya en Flores, Guatemala, tuvo que interrumpir de emergencia su descenso tras detectar una ráfaga de fuegos artificiales lanzados cerca de su trayectoria por las celebraciones patrias. Mientras la tripulación realizaba las maniobras de aproximación final hacia la pista, los pilotos avistaron la pirotecnia en las inmediaciones del espacio aéreo, por lo que activaron de inmediato los protocolos de seguridad. La maniobra, conocida en la aviación como go-around o ida al aire, consistió en cancelar el aterrizaje a baja altura y ascender con rapidez para alejarse de la zona de peligro. Tras reincorporarse al circuito de tráfico del aeropuerto, la aeronave logró tocar tierra minutos después en un segundo intento sin que se registraran lesionados ni daños materiales. El incidente puso sobre la mesa los serios peligros que representan los festejos con pirotecnia en zonas aledañas a los aeropuertos. El lanzamiento de fuegos artificiales durante la noche puede deslumbrar o encandilar a los pilotos perdiendo su visión nocturna, distraer a la tripulación en el momento más crítico del vuelo o golpear partes externas del avión. A esto se suma el estrés de obligar a los capitanes a ejecutar maniobras evasivas de último minuto.  El lanzamiento de fuegos artificiales durante la noche puede deslumbrar o encandilar a los pilotos perdiendo su visión nocturna.  Créditos: Cortesía. Ante el susto de los pasajeros y el riesgo provocado por los festejos patrios, la Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil de Guatemala emitió un exhorto urgente a la población. Las autoridades aeronáuticas hicieron un llamado a evitar por completo el uso de cohetes y fuegos pirotécnicos cerca de las rutas de despegue y aterrizaje, recordando que la imprudencia en tierra puede derivar en una tragedia aérea.
