Katy Perry's Dazzling World Cup Moment Leaves Fans in Awe

Katy Perry kicked off the 2026 World Cup with a bang. She brought the energy at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for the tournament’s opening ceremony Friday night, wearing a silver Stella McCartney FW26 Ready-to-Wear dress. The floor-length dress featured an exaggerated waistline and was constructed with what appears to be long strands of tinsel — perhaps a nod to Tinseltown, the home of this year’s competition. The pop star performed her song “Wonder,” off her 2024 album “143.”Katy Perry sparkled in silver to help kick off the 2026 World Cup Friday in Los Angeles, as pictured above. I heard his vocal in 2023 and was inspired to write the verses for ‘Wonder’ and added it to my sixth album,” she explained. “Tius is 10 now and flew all the way to LA from Norway to sing this song with me on Friday at the World Cup ✨⚽.”Perry opened the star-studded number, which also included Tyla, Anitta and more. The US intro is one of three opening ceremonies by the host countries, with Shakira headlining in Mexico City on Thursday and Alanis Morrisette, Michael Bublé and more in Canada Friday afternoon. While performing on behalf of the United States, Perry also has connections up north after going public with her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in December.Perry explained in a TikTok video posted Thursday that Tius recorded his part of “Wonder” in 2021 when he was 5 and he “inspired” her to write more verses and add to her sixth studio album. CHRIS TORRES/EPA/ShutterstockSince then, her “Teenage Dream”-era wardrobe has become decidedly more subdued, especially for public political events — but she brought back her pop star ways for her on-stage performance Friday night. The couple made their red carpet debut earlier this week, when Trudeau accompanied her to the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new concert movie. The pair, who have been together for nearly a year, weren’t shy and showed tons of PDA for the cameras, hugging during the viewing of “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris.”We’ll see what team the California native roots for throughout the tournament.

Spencer Pratt's Bold Promise: The Fight Against L.A.'s 'Corrupt Machine' Begins New

Spencer Pratt's Bold Promise: The Fight Against L.A.'s 'Corrupt Machine' Begins

Spencer Pratt may be out of the running for mayor of Los Angeles but he’s not done fighting those in power who he claims are “corrupt.” “Now that the campaign portion of my mission of ‘Save Los Angeles’ is coming to a close and I’m moving on to the next more interesting phase,” Pratt, 42, began his Friday, June 12, social media video message titled, “Save LA — Phase III.” As gospel music played in the background, Pratt admitted, “I’ve spent a lot of time slaying everybody. I’ve ridiculed everyone on the roster.” Pratt appeared to be queuing up for an apology to his opponents Los Angeles City Council member Nithya Raman and Mayor Karen Bass, who are both on the ballot for the November election, before filming the script completely. “I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, I’d like to take the chance to apologize to …,” Pratt said before a viral clip of UFC fighter Conor McGregor screaming, “Absolutely nobody” was inserted into his video. The music then took a dramatic turn as well, as Pratt vowed that losing the June election will not stop him from fighting back for his fellow Angelenos. “You think you can get rid of me that easily?” Pratt asked. "Hey morons, I didn’t get in this for political power. I got in this to expose this corrupt machine and nothing’s changed.” The Hills alum was fired up as he claimed, “I’m going to be lighting you up every single day and now I don’t have to worry about offending CNN viewers. I don’t have a campaign loss hamstringing me now.” “It’s war,” Pratt declared, calling it “zero hour” for the city of Los Angeles. He alleged that with him out of the running for mayor, “Angelenos are now stuck with two morons responsible for all their problems and they have to choose between dumb and dumber,” referring to Bass, 72, and Raman, 44. “That’s not a choice. That’s the machine, protecting the machine,” he quipped, claiming that all the problems that "plague" L.A. “because of these corrupt communists is going to accelerate.” Pratt warned, “The city will tumble head long into the abyss,” alleging that developers, restaurateurs, business moguls and more prominent figures in L.A. were “texting him” and saying, “They’re packing up and leaving town.” “More of your favorite restaurants will be shuttering. That means less tax revenue. That means the city has to cut services,” Pratt threatened. “More potholes, less firefighters, less police patrols, more criminals, more drug addicts terrorizing your communities. You have no idea how bad things are about to get for this city.” Pratt further claimed, “This city is a mess and you’re about to reward the arsonist who torched the place with four more years of destruction.” He said his “goal hasn’t changed” and he “will stop” the alleged corruption, claiming that he has dirt on one of the mayoral candidates. “We have some recordings of one of your exalted candidates doing and saying something that will make her resign in shame,” Pratt claimed, noting that Bass and Raman should be worried about what’s coming. Pratt continued, “Angelenos have been struggling for years now all while corrupt politicians and fraudulent NGOs profit off the misery and fleece us for the tax dollars. Well now, we’re flipping the script.” He told his former rivals, “I want all of you awake at night sweating,” claiming that an awakening is headed their way. “You think your election was going to stop me? If you want to stop me …” Pratt concluded his message, before a clip of Julia Garner from Ozark was spliced in with her yelling, “You’re going to have to f***ing kill me!” Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Bass and Raman for comment. Pratt’s eye-brow raising video comes after he announced earlier this year that he was running for L.A. mayor after his and wife Heidi Montag’s home in the Pacific Palisades was destroyed in the January 2025 California wildfires. “The system in Los Angeles isn’t struggling; it’s fundamentally broken,” Pratt said while revealing his campaign during the “They Let Us Burn” public demonstration. “It is a machine designed to protect the people at the top and the friends they exchange favors with while the rest of us drown in toxic smoke and ash. Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles, and I’m done waiting for someone to take real action.” During his campaign, Pratt claimed that if he lost he would leave L.A. with Montag, 39, and their two sons. However, that doesn’t appear to be the case. News broke on June 7 that Raman beat out Pratt behind incumbent Bass for the second spot in November’s mayoral election after polls closed on June 2. Pratt broke his silence over the results on Thursday, June 11, writing via X, “Are they done counting yet?”

Harper Beckham's Heartfelt Visit Ends in Unexpected Twist New

Harper Beckham's Heartfelt Visit Ends in Unexpected Twist

Harper Beckham made an emotional attempt to visit her estranged brother Brooklyn Beckham’s Los Angeles home on Friday — sadly, with no luck. The 14-year-old daughter of Victoria and David Beckham was spotted arriving at her eldest sibling’s residence in an SUV. Photos exclusively obtained by Page Six showed her approaching the Beverly Hills, California, home around 2 p.m. PT, shortly after celebrating her dad’s star-studded Walk of Fame ceremony in Hollywood.Harper appeared to show up at her brother’s residence unannounced and left seconds later without seeing him, as a source confirmed to Page Six that neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola Peltz, were home at the time. The couple is believed to be out of town. The teenager was still wearing the same pink midi-dress and sweater she wore to David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame event, which kicked off at 10 a.m. PT in Hollywood. The entire family was there to support the soccer star as he was honored with the prestigious accolade — with the exception of Brooklyn and Nicola, which Page Six exclusively reported.Harper Beckham was spotted outside her estranged brother Brooklyn Beckham’s home in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday, as pictured here in photos exclusively obtained by Page Six. London Entertainment for CA PostHarper appeared to show up at Brooklyn’s residence unannounced in a desperate attempt to heal the family’s public rift. London Entertainment for CA PostPage Six has reached out to reps for Brooklyn, David and Victoria for comment.Harper’s attempt to connect with her estranged sibling comes five months after Brooklyn took to social media with a bombshell statement slamming his parents — most notably, his mother, alleging she hijacked his first dance with Nicola at their 2022 wedding and “controlled narratives in the press” about the famous family. The 27-year-old chef bluntly said, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.”Harper wore the same pink dress she wore earlier to David’s Walk of Fame ceremony, as seen above. Matt Baron/BEI/ShutterstockBrooklyn, seen above with Harper in a throwback photo, snubbed his father’s milestone ceremony. victoriabeckham/Instagram“I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he continued. “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family [with] performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships. … Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.”Insisting that “the truth always comes out,” Brookyn claimed that Victoria, 52, and David, 51, “have been trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with Peltz, 31 — prior to them walking down the aisle in a lavish Florida ceremony four years ago. Brooklyn claimed the efforts “haven’t stopped” since then. “My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” he wrote. Brothers Cruz and Romeo were there to celebrate their father’s achievement along with David and Victoria. John Salangsang/ShutterstockBrooklyn blasted his parents in a bombshell statement in January. He’s pictured here earlier this month. Getty Images for Tribeca FestivalThe photographer also accused his parents of “repeatedly pressur[ing] and attempt[ing] to bribe” him into “signing away the rights to” his name before his wedding celebration and alleged that “members of [his] family” told him that his bride- to-be was “not family” and “not blood.” Brooklyn wrote that after his “holdout,” his parents have “have never treated me the same since.”Most memorably, Beckham wrote that “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.”He added of the alleged moment, “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”The chef accused his family of “endlessly” trying to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola Peltz. Harper, Brooklyn, and Peltz are pictured here in 2024. WWD via Getty ImagesHe also accused his parents of “controlling the narrative” surrounding the family. Both couples are seen above in a prior social media upload. Brooklyn Beckham/InstagramBrooklyn concluded the statement by defending his wife and writing that the couple does “not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”Since then, relations in the family seemed to have come to a standstill, with Brooklyn directing his family to only contact him through an attorney. As for Brooklyn’s apparent Walk of Fame snub, a source told Page Six earlier this month that it would never have happened. “Even if he did want to see them at the Walk of Fame, Nicola would not take too kindly to it,” the insider told Page Six.Another source said, “Two things can be true; Nicola can be difficult and Brooklyn does not want to see his parents.”“Even though Brooklyn has made it clear he doesn’t want to see his parents, the rest of his family misses him desperately,” a source previously told Page Six of the ongoing feud.

Hank Azaria's Surprising NBA Rant: Why Taylor Swift's Presence Left Him Exhausted

Six-time Emmy winner Hank Azaria joined the chorus of critics who took issue with Taylor Swift sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden during Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals.  “I’ll tell you the one that bothered me was Taylor Swift. Come on,” Azaria, 62, said on the Thursday, June 11, broadcast of The Dan Le Batard Show. “I know she’s the hugest thing in the world, but we had to sit with her all through the NFL and now she’s at the Garden. Come on.” Swift and her friends, Alana and Este Haim, took up four courtside seats for Game 4, which Azaria called “ridiculous.” “Not that I question why she’d get the seat. I’m just tired of the whole Taylor Swift…” Azaria said, before getting cut off. Azaria — best known for his voice work on The Simpsons and TV shows like Huff and Ray Donovan — said he had been attending Knicks games at the Garden since 1970 and gave an interesting peek into how celebrities find out they’ve been given free tickets to games.  “You don’t know from the Garden if you’re going to get in until that day,” he said. “If you’re Ben Stiller or Tracy Morgan, you know. I think Spike [Lee] actually pays for his tickets. So they don’t let you know until day-of because there’s such high demand. For Game 3 [of the NBA Finals], I didn’t make the cut. I decided I’m going to buy tickets for Game 4, which will be outrageously expensive. And then if the Knicks get me in, then I’ll sell those tickets on StubHub because they weren’t hard to sell.” Azaria lucked out and received two tickets for Game 4, but ran into issues on the secondary market when trying to offload the tickets he had purchased.  “I find out that I’m in and I try to sell the tickets on StubHub, but for some reason they’re not going for the same price anymore,” he explained. “Maybe because the Knicks lost Game 3. I don’t know what it is. They’re very good seats. I’m holding them, holding them, holding them and I’m like, ‘You know, the Garden tickets they got us are free. I got two friends who are such big Knicks fans that we watch all the games together [with], let me just have them come and watch the game and they’ll sit in the other seats. It’s a very extravagant gift, but what the heck, right?” Once inside the Garden, however, Azaria quickly realized his gesture backfired as he realized where his comped tickets were located. “I know I’m not courtside, but I think they’ve gotten me good seats,” he continued, “But we’re way up in what they call the Cisco Suites, which are like the ceiling. But in this suite is me, Questlove, Rainn Wilson, Ed Burns and Christy Turlington, Jeremy Strong. Aaron Judge is right there. There’s so many folks that want in that they’ve stuck us all up in the rafters.” Azaria continued, “My friends now are sitting in great seats now that I bought and I can’t switch with them.” Despite watching the game from the boonies, Azaria was able to witness first-hand the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history as the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 107-106.  “It’s cliche at this point to describe the pandemonium in there, but it was nuts, Azaria said, adding, “When they were making this strange, gradual, kind of limpy comeback all through the second half of the game, I was too nervous to commit to the reality that it might be happening to yell out loud about it. I just kind of stood there with my hands on my head with my mouth agape not wanting to breathe too much.”

The source said that the athlete, 50, was “doing the best he can” amid the “pressure” for him to heal as well the legal issues he will face in the coming months. “This has created a great deal of stress,” the source shared.“I don’t know when it will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return [to golf],” the insider added. “He has to get his pain management going in the right direction and also be able to continue a fitness routine, which will help him do the best he can when seriously playing golf.
