Terrifying Date Night: Man's Sinister 'Surprise' Ends in Arrest New

Terrifying Date Night: Man's Sinister 'Surprise' Ends in Arrest

A Wisconsin man was arrested after he showed up to a date with a gun and kill kit, and attempted to kidnap the woman. Angelo Liberto was charged with attempted sexual assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment, all with modifiers for the use of a deadly weapon, after he forced his date into his car on May 29. The woman, whose name has not been shared publicly, told police that Liberto, 22, showed up at her home unannounced at 1 a.m. days before they planned to go on a date on May 29, according to a criminal complaint viewed by Law & Crime. She then claimed that Liberto told her he had a "surprise" for her. The woman told Liberto that he had "crossed boundaries" and asked him to leave, though he still showed up to her home on May 29 to pick her up for the date. Upon his arrival, Liberto told her he had a "gift" for her in his car and "another surprise" in the back seat. The woman got into the back seat of the car and drove off, which was when he allegedly pulled over and told her that "she should've been scared.” He then pulled out a Python .357 Magnum revolver and pointed it at her as he demanded that she hand over her phone. The woman refused to give him her phone unless he put down the gun. However, Liberto refused to do so and reportedly continued to yell at her. She then attempted to grab the gun and was able to get it away from him, but he allegedly locked the car and trapped her inside. Liberto then allegedly took out a knife and told the woman to put on a pair of handcuffs in the back seat, and she complied. Liberto began to accuse the woman of "seeing other people" and lying to him, according to police. The woman said she repeatedly tried to call 911 and her family while she was handcuffed. He continued to drive as he told her he was taking her to a lake house four hours away so he could "use her like she used him,” per the complaint. The woman reportedly asked Liberto if he planned to sexually assault her, and he said he did. Liberto went on to tell the woman that he vandalized her vehicle in the past before he said that they would be at the lake house "for a couple of days.” The complaint stated that he then said "people kill people because they do bad things” and added, "We are at the point of no return." Police eventually caught up to Liberto’s car around 11 p.m. and pulled him over. He was then arrested and police searched his car, where they found the gun, knife and handcuffs. Authorities also allegedly found duct tape, "a hacksaw, erectile dysfunction pills, a tarp, bondage restraints, a 'hogtie kit,' gloves, headlamps, an unopened package of women's underwear, lubricant, condoms, an unopened container of 10FT coil straight chain, hydrogen peroxide, a shovel, a 36″ gooseneck wrecking bar, and an unknown clear odorless liquid,” according to the complaint. The woman spoke to detectives the next day, telling them that she met Liberto through mutual friends in September 2025 and they previously went on a few dates. However, she "told him that she did not want to be in a relationship." Liberto reportedly complained that the woman did not let him kiss her or hold her hand, and she said she told him "multiple times that she only wanted to be friends." Liberto is currently in custody at the Milwaukee County Jail and is being held on $200,000 cash bond. He appeared in court on Tuesday, June 9. It is not currently clear if Liberto has entered a plea or retained legal counsel. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment regarding the case.

Andy Cohen's Bold Question Leaves 'Summer House' Fans Stunned

Andy Cohen outright asked West Wilson if he was on beta blockers during the final part of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion. The moment happened when Jesse Solomon started crying over possibly “losing” Wilson as a friend because of the latter’s secret relationship with Amanda Batula.“I didn’t expect to get this emotional about it,” Solomon, 32, said. “But just based off of what we’ve heard, I feel like I’m losing a brother.”Andy Cohen asked West Wilson if he was on beta blockers during the final part of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion (Cohen, Amanda Batula and Wilson are pictured above). Jocelyn Prescod/Bravo via Getty ImagesCohen called out Wilson for being stoic while the rest of the cast was “emotional” at the reunion. Clifton Prescod/BravoSolomon told Wilson, 31: “I hope you can somehow improve and prove us wrong but it doesn’t look good.”“West, what’s your reaction to that?” Cohen, 58, asked Wilson, who, without looking at Solomon, said he “hates” how his co-star feels about the state of their friendship.“I wanted to be here today to apologize and try to articulate well and I… the friendships here matter to me so f–ing much and it sucks knowing that I’m responsible for watching the cracks in all of this,” an emotionless Wilson continued. Cohen then asked Wilson, “No offense, are you on like, a bunch of beta blockers or what?”Jesse Solomon (seen above with KJ Dillard and Dara Levitan) posed the same question to Wilson when he cried about their crumbling friendship. Jocelyn Prescod/BravoWilson (seen above during the reunion) confirmed he took a beta blocker and addressed why he was “not sobbing” at the reunion. Jocelyn Prescod/Bravo via Getty ImagesThe “Watch What Happens Live” host pointed out that the rest of the cast had been “so emotional” about the scandal throughout the reunion, while Wilson had a blank stare on his face the entire time.“I’m just curious what’s going on,” Cohen added.Wilson explained that he was “trying to stay composed as much as possible” — as Solomon also outright asked Wilson if he was on beta blockers.“I took a beta blocker,” Wilson confirmed. “No offense but I’m not sobbing in this moment. This matters to me,” he added. “But this is my friend.”“This matters to me,” Wilson said, adding about Solomon, “But this is my friend.” Clifton Prescod/BravoWilson and Batula (seen above) took heat at the reunion for hiding their romance from their co-stars. Ciara Miller's Explosive Reaction to Amanda Batula's Apology Leaves Fans Stunned

Ciara Miller brutally rejected Amanda Batula’s apology for her secret relationship with West Wilson during the third and final part of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion on Tuesday.Host Andy Cohen gave Batula the floor to finally give Miller a heartfelt apology for secretly striking up a relationship with the model’s ex, as the women faced each other for the first time since the scandal broke.“This has been a very confusing and crazy time. There’s been a lot of feelings that I’ve sorted through. I developed feelings for someone that I wasn’t supposed to, in a way that I wasn’t expecting to,” Batula began.Ciara Miller brutally rejected Amanda Batula’s apology during the third and final part of the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion. BravoDuring Tuesday’s episode, host Andy Cohen gave Batula the floor to apologize to Miller for secretly striking up a relationship with the model’s ex, West Wilson. Bravo“There were times I lost sleep, didn’t eat, thinking about what this was going to do to our friendship — even the fact that these feelings existed. I f—ked up and I am deeply sorry for betraying your trust and it kills me to know that I have caused you this pain.”“No it doesn’t Amanda,” Miller angrily replied. “You f—king text me 24 hours before the statement is gonna come out finally admitting the truth. Meanwhile, I’m calling Kyle [Cooke] like, ‘What the f—k is this?'”Miller broke down in tears as she recalled “being nothing but there” for Batula during the downfall of her marriage to Cooke, whom she separated from in January. The former nurse also heartbreakingly shared that their co-star Lindsay Hubbard had to “pick [her] up off the f—king bathroom floor” after the truth about Batula and Wilson’s relationship left her in shambles.“I f—ked up and I am deeply sorry for betraying your trust and it kills me to know that I have caused you this pain,” Batula said.“No it doesn’t Amanda,” Miller angrily replied as she pointed out all the times Batula had the chance to come clean but chose not to. BravoMiller, 30, said that if Batula, 34, was truly ever her friend, she would have known that entering a relationship with Wilson would’ve been ” a big f—k you” to her. She also claimed that the sports journalist — whom she dated in 2023 — was only with Batula to “embarrass” and “spite” her. During another emotional moment, Miller tearfully reflected on the “bittersweet” moment she and Batula shared during the season finale, which now hurts her to watch back.“It was really emotional for me to see the scene of me and Amanda saying goodbye to each other. Me telling her how much I love her and how special she is, how she’s beautiful and she’s seen, she deserves the best. It kind of f—ked me up a little bit. It’s a bit bittersweet.”During part one of the highly anticipated reunion, Miller poked holes in Batula and Wilson’s relationship timeline by airing out private texts with her former bestie.Miller also tearfully reflected on the “bittersweet” scene in the season finale when she and Batula share an emotional goodbye, as seen above. Bravo“Me telling her how much I love her and how special she is, how she’s beautiful and she’s seen, she deserves the best. It kind of f—ked me up a little bit,” Miller admitted. Bravo“Text from Ciara to Amanda on March 5: ‘OK, so, for clarity, since I don’t really feel like you’re making it clear, you and West haven’t hooked up, made out, held hands under table, or had sex?’” Miller read off.Miller said Batula simply replied, “Correct,” to which the latter then admitted on the reunion stage, “And I said, ‘Correct.’ And I lied, 100 percent lied.”In another shocking moment, the former nurse claimed Batula is perfect for Wilson, 31, because she’s never “going to check him on anything.”“She’s very mute, she’s gonna be that weak figure that he needs and he can always be the star in the relationship,” Miller stated. “So I actually think maybe it could work.”During part two, Batula stormed off the stage in tears after intense questioning about her relationship with Wilson (seen above). BravoThe sports journalist was then berated by his angry castmates to go after her. Jocelyn Prescod/Bravo via Getty ImagesTensions grew higher during part two of the reunion when the model brought up Wilson’s secret girlfriend, Meija Moreno, who Wilson was still dating while he struck up a romance with Batula. The intense questioning caused Batula to storm off the stage in tears and in turn, her angry co-stars screamed at Wilson to go after her.Batula and Wilson confirmed their secret romance in March in a bombshell statement after weeks of speculation.Notably, they had kept their relationship a secret from their entire “Summer House” crew — including Cooke and Miller who were left the most devastated by the news.Batula and Wilson (pictured hanging out with Miller last October) confirmed their relationship in March after keeping it a secret from their “Summer House” crew. BravoMiller previously dated Wilson and supported Batula through the downfall of her marriage with Kyle Cooke, so the pairing came as a betrayal to the former nurse. BravoViewers watched Miller support Batula as her marriage came crashing down during Season 10, and also rekindle a romantic connection with Wilson — which made the pairing such a shock to the Bravo universe.Since the scandal, Miller has made it clear that there is zero possibility for a reconciliation with Batula — who she previously admitted betrayed her more than Wilson. When asked in a May interview with People if she and Batula were “dunzo,” Miller savagely replied, “Yeah, for sure. I couldn’t do this to my worst enemy.” As for Batula and Wilson, they continue to flaunt their relationship despite backlash.

Farmer Wants a Wife's Surprising Finale: Couples' Unexpected Status Revealed New

Farmer Wants a Wife's Surprising Finale: Couples' Unexpected Status Revealed

Farmer Wants a Wife season 4 had its fair share of drama — but did the final three couples walk into the sunset? Viewers watched throughout season 4 of the Fox reality series as farmers Sean Cavanaugh, Braden Pridemore and Brett Maverick each took a group of women home to see if they could find The One, sending one person home every episode before making their final choice. Warning: Spoilers below for the season 4 finale of Farmer Wants a Wife.  While each farmer had their individual ups and downs as they navigated dates, conflicts and even family dynamics, the Tuesday, June 9, finale started out smoothly until Braden found himself in the hot seat when he had to break one woman’s heart — and she took it harder than expected. When Braden met up with Brittany Graham to reveal that he was ultimately choosing Casey Riemar, the 27-year-old medical aesthetician had a hard time accepting the news, accusing Braden of leading her on and lying about his feelings before ultimately breaking down and running away. “With this whole process, sending girls home is the absolute worst part about it. I absolutely hated it, even when I had a clear mind,” Braden exclusively told Us Weekly about the fallout. “And going into the finale, I truly did have a clear mind, and I knew it was Casey, and I knew where my heart was leading me. But it's still hard, because in the moment, you don't want to hurt somebody. And, Brittany went into that very confident, I think, that I was going to pick her. I didn't mean to give that impression.” Despite his empathy, Braden insisted that he has a “clear conscience” about the ordeal. “[I was] completely honest through this whole process. I never said anything to any of the girls that wasn't true,” he explained. “And that's the hard thing, because no matter what, rejection is hard, and getting sent home is probably horrible.” Sean, Braden and Brett all ultimately followed their hearts in the end  — see who they picked and where the couples stand now: Sean Cavanaugh and Emily Jane Status: Still together! After a season of accusations that they had already chosen each other before the final two, Sean and Emily walked off into the sunset together. While speaking to Us, the couple clarified that it wasn’t until their solo date together that they realized their relationship could become something real. “We just had such a great time, and it was just amazing beyond expectation,” Emily told Us, calling it a “turning point” in their romance. Sean agreed, adding the alone time gave them “plenty of time to hang out and really talk to each other and get to know one another.” However, he noted that while the solo date made it "more than clear” where he was heading for viewers, he knew he had a “process to finish” in the show and was determined to give everyone a “fair chance” before ultimately following his heart. These days, Sean and Emily are happily in love and even living together. Right after the show wrapped, Sean took Emily to Santa Barbara for a “fun vacation” away from cameras, the place where they say they “truly fell in love.” Then they had Thanksgiving together at his parents’ house in Newport Beach, California. While Emily eventually flew back home to Florida, the twosome called each other “every single day” — one time spending 15 hours chatting! — before Sean packed up his truck and drove across the country to see her. “We were like, ‘OK, our goal is for the rest of our lives, we never want to spend three weeks apart.’ So we packed up his truck, and he drove across the country and into my place,” Emily told Us. “So we do live together. We've been living together.” The pair have since made their way back to California, where Sean said they’re “working at the restaurant, working on the farm” and “getting a whole bunch of new farm animals.” There’s no official engagement yet, but Emily told Us to “stay tuned.” “There's been talk. Nothing's happened yet. I feel like everybody's wondering,” she said with a laugh. “Nothing has happened yet. You guys will be just as surprised as I will. We're waiting.” Braden Pridemore and Casey Riemer Status: Still together! Braden confessed to Us that he had his eyes on Casey from the very first day they met in the barn, a secret he told the wardrobe department right off the bat. “Casey was nothing but just real and authentic, and the whole time was just never trying to impress me. I mean, she couldn't care less, like, about impressing me,” he said with a laugh. “At times I joked, I was like, ‘Oh, she doesn't even care!’ … And that really attracted me, because she was just so true to herself. So I liked Casey pretty quickly.” Braden confessed he had trouble sending women home and would often get overly focused on not hurting anyone’s feelings, but with Casey, there was “never” an option of saying goodbye. “You get caught up thinking more about who you're sending home rather than who's actually there, as crazy as that sounds,” he explained. “Later in the season, I'm telling myself, ‘Oh man, I'm gonna have a hard decision,’ and then I just had a moment where I was like, ‘You're kind of an idiot. It's always been Casey!’ I've just been so drawn to her this whole entire season.” For Casey, realizing Braden was The One took a little bit longer. “I think when I really realized I was falling for him was after the family episode,” she said, referring to the season’s penultimate episode. “Our families got along so well, and it was just truly so much fun that day. And then once the families both left, we got to have our final day, just getting to spend more time with him, talk about what the future might look like for us. I truly saw myself being with him from that moment on.” While Braden and Casey clearly had a connection throughout the season, they seemingly faced a bump in the road when it came to the discussion of Casey moving to Illinois. Although Casey “never said” she wouldn’t relocate, she expressed her apprehension about being even farther away from her family. “A concern of mine was being, or living so far away from my family. I currently live three hours from them. I don't live close right now, I think it was just scary knowing it would be seven hours away from Nashville,” she shared. In the end, Braden said the honest conversation made their feelings grow “even stronger.” “It was like, ‘Wow, our conflict resolution could be strong,’” he said. “It was just two of us being honest. She was like, ‘Hey, this is my concern, being this far away from my family.’ I'm like, ‘Well, this is my concern,’ and I don't want me living here to change our connection.’ …We were just both honest with each other and upfront with our intentions.” Now, Casey and Braden have both made the trip from Tennessee to Illinois “multiple times,” and the concerns about distance are getting “less and less.” “The longest we’ve gone has been, like, two and a half weeks without seeing each other, so lots of traveling; we've been making it work, so it's been a lot of fun,” Casey said with a smile. As for taking things to the next level — like a potential engagement — Braden said there have been “conversations,” but the couple are taking it day by day. “Right now our focus is just being a normal couple and actually being able to go out and have fun and just you know continue what we're doing,” he said. “I'll say we've had a few conversations, but that's something that's going to have to be down the line. … We're really making it work, [and] I can honestly say there hasn't been any time where it's felt really difficult to not see each other. We're two people that need some space, but we also need to be around each other quite a bit. We've just been really making it work, and it's gone so smoothly.” Casey agreed. “It’s been so easy,” she added. Brett Maverick and Quinn Guterman Status: Still together! While Brett got along well with all the girls on his farm, he told Us that after sitting back and taking time to "read" the room, he figured out "which ones I was more drawn to based on their personalities, the way they carry themselves, the things they said — there are a few factors there." Brett explained that, like Braden, he got wrapped up in who was going home but eventually realized he needed to focus on who he wanted to stay. Ultimately, his mind went to the mixer in Maryland and how he formed a connection with Quinn. "That's kind of when I realized that Quinn was the head of the pack." Quinn, for her part, also noted Maryland as a turning point. “When we went on our trip to Maryland to the horse races, I missed him, and so I realized when I wasn't around him, I wanted to be around him," she shared, adding that she was surprised at how much she "cared" when a late-game woman named Sophia was added to the mix by Brett's parents. Quinn told Us, “Honestly, just the way once we got back and he was interacting with us as a whole, I kind of knew he's somebody I want to get to know, and then just each conversation that went on, and really less about the conversations he and I had, it was more just little interactions, whether that was off camera, in between stuff, on camera, we just kind of found our way of just little sarcastic things here and there, so what I would look for normally was happening even in a group, and I think he got to see my side with the girls, and how I would be around my friends normally, because that's kind of how we all were, and so we just opened up and got close fast.” As for where they stand now, Quinn is still in Idaho while Brett is living on the farm in Tennessee, but the pair are making things work. "I wouldn't say like moving is out of the cards, but we're just taking it day by day," Quinn told Us. "He's out here more than not, and we just hang out, and I think for us it's like .... we have fun doing nothing, and we can really do anything, and we find the fun in it, and I know we have fun doing other things too, but if we can do nothing and still enjoy.” Brett noted that Quinn is considering moving in with finalist Hannah in Florida. “It's a little closer to him,” Quinn replied. “Yeah, I've been thinking about going back to school for nursing. Hannah and I love each other, we miss each other, and I'd still be closer to Brett, but it's not making that full jump and not having anybody else in Tennessee other than him. And we're both pretty independent, but we love being around each other, so it's finding a happy medium.” Farmer Wants a Wife airs on Fox and is available to stream next day on Hulu.

Zahara Jolie-Pitt's Bold Move: What Her Name Change Says New

Zahara Jolie-Pitt's Bold Move: What Her Name Change Says

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt has filed a petition to drop her dad’s last name from her own. Legal documents filed by Zahara, 21, with the Superior Court of California in April were processed on Friday, June 5. The filing, obtained by Us Weekly, shows that Zahara proposes to change her name to Zahara Jolie, and a legal hearing to discuss the matter will commence in Los Angeles on Monday, September 28. Us Weekly has reached out to Jolie and Pitt for comment. “It’s unfortunate when a parent deliberately alienates their children from the other,” a source exclusively tells Us regarding the filing. Angelina, 51, filed for divorce from Pitt, 62, on September 20, 2016, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her filing. Their eight-year divorce and custody battle over the pair’s six children — Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, Shiloh, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17 — was finalized on December 30, 2024, as confirmed by Us at the time. “The children are now adults and make their own decisions,” a second insider says of the petition. “It’s really horrible that he [Pitt] has tried to paint himself as a victim. When will people start asking real questions about what happened to the kids?” Under the former couple’s custody agreement, Pitt holds visitation rights with Vivienne and Knox, who are still minors, as opposed to legally independent adults. At the time of the pair’s divorce settlement, Angelina’s lawyer James Simon told Us in a statement, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.” A rep for Pitt declined to comment at the time. In May, Zahara publicly dropped Pitt’s last name from her own during her college graduation. Social media footage captured at the Spelman College graduation ceremony showed Zahara announced as “Zahara Marley Jolie” as she walked across a stage to receive her diploma. Three years prior, social media footage also showed Zahara introducing herself without her father’s last name when she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie,” she said in a 2023 clip. “Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California … I am this line’s number seven.” Us confirmed in August 2024 that Shiloh had dropped her father’s last name after petitioning through the legal system. While there was no hearing, the petition was granted and Shiloh went from Jolie-Pitt to Jolie three months after filing her petition on May 27 that year. Us subsequently confirmed that Shiloh had hired and paid for her own lawyer to complete the proceedings. Maddox also legally requested to drop Pitt from his name in May.

Taylor Swift's Red Carpet Moment: The Dress That Has Everyone Talking New

Taylor Swift's Red Carpet Moment: The Dress That Has Everyone Talking

Taylor Swift paid tribute to her country roots — and her favorite Toy Story character — while celebrating the film series' fifth instalment. Stepping out for the Los Angeles premiere of Toy Story 5 at the Dolby Theatre on Tuesday, June 9, Swift, 36, rocked a strapless Western-inspired patchwork Erdem corset gown on the red carpet. Swift, who penned her original track “I Knew It, I Knew You” to be featured in the film, paired the fall/winter 2026 creation with a gold horseshoe necklace and gold peep-toe heels. The ensemble’s country theme nodded to Toy Story’s Jessie, who inspired Swift’s new song and also influenced her childhood dress-up days, as revealed by the singer via social media last week. The romantic ensemble was accentuated with the singer’s signature red lip and cat eye makeup, as well as a half-up hairstyle that showed off her soft bangs. According to InStyle, Swift leant on styling guidance from Joseph Cassell Falconer, who “has worked with her since her Speak Now era.” (Speak Now was Swift’s third studio album, originally released in October 2010 before it was re-recorded and released again in July 2023.) The musician posed for photos on the red carpet with the stars of Toy Story 5, which will be released on Friday, June 19, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Greta Lee and Conan O’Brien. An X video, shared by Hollywood Reporter journalist Borys Kit, also captured Swift enjoying time within the theatre itself. Footage showed her speaking to a young child as podcaster Kelly Stafford watched on with her own children. Additional social media footage shared by Variety showed Swift on stage in the venue, performing “I Knew It, I Knew You” for the first time in public. THR also posted a video that captured Swift joining fellow musician Randy Newman for a live rendition of his Toy Story track "You've Got a Friend in Me," treating the audience to a costume change that saw her perform in a vivid yellow floor-length gown. Swift took to Instagram on Friday, June 5, to mark her inclusion on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now … is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond,” she wrote. Rare childhood footage of Swift accompanied the post, showing her as a youngster stomping around a house dressed in a Jessie-inspired cowgirl outfit complete with a cowboy hat and boots. Crediting her co-creator Jack Antonoff within the post, Swift continued, “We wrote this with so much adoration for these characters that made us laugh and helped us learn lessons and think outside the backyard all throughout our childhoods.”

Tragedy Strikes: Former Football Star's Life Shattered in Colorado Hit-and-Run New

Tragedy Strikes: Former Football Star's Life Shattered in Colorado Hit-and-Run

Former Penn State football long snapper Kyle Vasey was hospitalized and his fiancée, Corinne More, was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Colorado.  “Kyle was the victim of a terrible accident while out walking with his fiancée,” Kyle’s parents, Bruce and Shelly, shared in a GoFundMe created amid their son’s road to recovery. “A pickup truck negligently drove off the road and ran them down, going approximately 45 mph. The driver turned around to check out the damage he caused, then cowardly fled the scene.” The former Penn State player endured “multiple fractures” all over his body, according to the GoFundMe.  The driver, 28-year-old Adam Bauserman, was eventually taken into custody after the tragedy, which happened on June 3. Bauserman was already driving with a suspended license from a previous DUI when he struck three pedestrians who were walking on the sidewalk. More, 35, did not survive, while Kyle was seriously injured. Dianne Windes, 72, was the third victim. She was reportedly walking in the opposite direction of the couple and hospitalized with serious injuries, per CBS News. Deputies did not detect signs of intoxication, but are waiting on Bauserman’s blood test results for confirmation. At the time of the crash, Bauserman is believed to have been driving roughly 48 miles per hour.  When he was tracked down by authorities, CBS News reported that Bauserman asked police, "Do you know if I killed the man?" A doctor stated in an affidavit that Kyle is at substantial risk for permanent disfigurement or death.  “His left arm was the only limb not injured,” the fundraiser explained. “He has 3 spine fractures and 4 broken ribs. So far he has had six surgeries. At this point, he's still on a ventilator and is sedated to help manage the pain while his body recovers. Thankfully, there was no major head trauma, and everyone is optimistic about his physical recovery. However, it is expected to be a long road of recovery.” Witnesses allege that Bauserman intentionally aimed his vehicle at all three pedestrians, which Douglas County Sheriff Darren Weekly addressed."This was a horrific scene," Weekly told CBS.  "If we can prove that, we'll certainly do that, but at this point we have no indication of that," he said. The GoFundMe has raised over $24,000 at the time of this story’s publication.  “At this time, we are asking for your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery of his body, heart, and mind,” Kyle’s parents wrote. “However, any donations to help with his ever-climbing medical bills would be greatly appreciated.” Kyle played at Penn State from 2018 to 2019. He agreed to a contract with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent after graduating, but he never saw professional action.  In recent years, Kyle has been working as a real estate agent in Denver.

Boy Meets World Cast's Shocking Revelation: What Really Happened With Ben Savage? New

Boy Meets World Cast's Shocking Revelation: What Really Happened With Ben Savage?

The story of Boy Meets World didn’t end when the cameras stopped rolling. The new documentary Doc Meets World follows three stars from the popular ‘90s sitcom — Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and Will Friedle — as they tour the country for their podcast “Pod Meets World,” a project the trio launched in 2022 with the intent of revisiting their time on ABC’s Boy Meets World, which aired from 1993 to 2000. The film attempts to peek behind the curtain of the podcast that has taken the world by storm while also giving fans an introspective look at the cast’s friendships — and fallouts — since Boy Meets World ended. Fishel, Strong and Friedle also dive into the wounds that haven’t fully healed from their time on the series, detailing the behind-the-scenes tensions that shaped both BMW and its Disney Channel spinoff, Girl Meets World, their complex relationship with creator Michael Jacobs and their highly publicized estrangement from former costar Ben Savage, who led both shows as main character Cory Matthews. Keep scrolling for the biggest bombshells of the documentary, featuring Fishel, Friedle and Strong as they continue to reclaim their own stories as both individuals and famous child actors: ‘Boy Meets World’ Cast Attempts to Contact Ben Savage After Friedle, Fishel and Strong revealed that Savage allegedly stopped communicating with them when they began “Pod Meets World” in 2022, the trio continues to reach out to their former costar in the documentary. Friedle — who portrayed Savage’s older brother, Eric Matthews, on the show — makes an attempt to text Savage, showing the years' worth of messages he previously sent with no response. Friedle shows that his texts eventually turned from blue to green — insinuating that Savage eventually blocked his number when Friedle vowed to call him “every day” until he responds. However, when he and Strong, who played Cory’s bad boy best friend, Shawn Hunter, send him a question about restaurant recommendations while on the road, the message turns blue, hinting that Savage may have unblocked his former costar. The film does not address whether Savage ever responds to his many messages. ‘Boy Meets World’ Cast Discuss Ben Savage Fallout Strong says that when he first had the “idea” for “Pod Meets World,” it “definitely” included Savage, but added that the actor didn’t feel it was a “worthwhile creative endeavor or way to connect with fans.” "I flat-out told him, ‘Wow, I’m really going to miss you doing this; I think you’re making a mistake. I really wish you would consider it,” Strong recalls in the doc. “And he said, ‘I promise you it’s just not for me.’” Strong said he fell out completely with Savage once the podcast got going. “Ben refused to do the podcast, but we still communicated with him, still on friendly terms, we thought. But he unfollowed us on Instagram and blocked our phone numbers,” he says. “I feel sorry that he’s missing out on the experience that Danielle and Will and I are having.” Despite wishing his onscreen BFF was part of the project, Strong admits he and Savage were “never close” in real life, but did form a “mind meld as performers and trusted one another” on Boy Meets World. Friiedle, meanwhile, says he still texts Savage “probably at least once a month,” as he still has a “slight hope he’ll reach out one day.” “I really do miss him. He’s arguably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life,” Friedle says offhand to Strong after they send a text to Savage in yet another attempt to reach out. Drifting From Each Other Before ‘Pod Meets World’ While Friedle says he would have kept doing Boy Meets World forever and enjoyed his time on the sitcom, Fishel and Strong were clear that once the show wrapped they were intent on creating a purposeful distance from the show — and their costars. “Toward the end of it, I had such a relationship with it that I wanted to get away from it so badly I wanted so badly to make my own identity away from the show,” Strong explains. “Without realizing it, I isolated myself from [Danielle and Will]. An unfortunate side effect of wanting to get away from BMW is I ended up cutting out the people who were closest, who knew me better than almost anybody.” Strong notes that he was “afraid” of alienating fans by doing the podcast initially due to having any points of view that could be construed as negative, but it ended up have the “opposite effect.” “This podcast was the greatest midlife crisis,” he quips, later adding that “it’s actually drawn people closer to us.” Will Friedle Details His Anxiety — And Hints Jennifer Love Hewitt Breakup Might Have Been a Factor Fishel and Strong both say that they were shocked Friedle’s career didn’t take off after BMW, saying they expected him to be the next Jim Carrey or Saturday Night Live cast member. “I didn’t see anything that could have stopped him,” Fishel confesses. Friedle, meanwhile, details his very first panic attack, which occurred between the sixth and seventh season of BMW when he was filming his Disney movie H E Double Hockey Sticks. “I had a panic attack, the world spun, and I passed out,” he recalls. “Doctor came down and said, 'I think you’re having an anxiety attack,' and I said no I’m dying … I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do it.” Friedle explains he wasn’t taking care of himself at the time, had just “broken up with [his] first love,” who he read was “already dating someone new,” as well as “not exercising,” “eating like s***,” and “smoking a lot of weed and cigarettes.” (Friedle and Jennifer Love Hewitt broke up in 1997, and she began dating MTV VJ Carson Daly that same year.) “For a lot of people, it could have happened once and that would have been it whereas for me, I get in my head about it. I didn’t know what it was and I just started spiraling,” he says about his anxiety. He eventually returned to on-screen acting work for the BMW spinoff, Girl Meets World, thanks to his wife, Susan. He says when he finally made his first appearance on the show, he looked into the audience to see Susan “just bawling.” Rider Strong Opens Up About Being the ‘Downer,’ Struggling With ‘Boy Meets World’ “Boy Meets World felt like I was slumming,” Strong recalls in the doc of playing Shawn. “I just never enjoyed the [sitcom] form.” Fishel says she was convinced Strong was destined to become the next Brad Pitt or Leo DiCaprio and would go on to win an “Oscar at some point,” while Friedle thought Strong would either be a director — a career path Strong has since followed —  or an author “with several novels out by now.” Strong shares that his cynical attitude often pops up outside his work life, telling a friend, “[My wife] Alex will point out, ‘You’re just miserable, even when we’re doing fun stuff.’ And I’m the downer on the podcast. And what I’m mostly upset about most of the time is I’m not getting the work done that I know I can do and that when I do it, it’s just the biggest release in the world.” He cites “Pod Meets World” as a positive aspect of his life, partially because of the “relief” he feels over realizing that BMW was, actually, a very “good” show. “I am able to see the way a fan did for the first time and be like, ‘Oh right, what I was really upset about was my lack of control over this part of my life,’” he says. There are still challenges. “There’s a little bit of like, I’m not allowed to not like Boy Meets World; it’s a little ungrateful of me because it’s the pinnacle of an acting achievement to have a series and have a series people love and want to still talk about but I feel like my taste is not very popular,” he says in the doc with a laugh. “But I think I used to avoid having opinions publicly or even embracing my public image in any way for fear of being disliked.” Ultimately, when his friend asks him if he’s “ever going to be satisfied” with himself and his life, he replies, “yes.” Danielle Fishel Reflects on Putting Men Before Her Career in the Past “By the time I got to season 6 [of Boy Meets World], I felt like the show was stopping me from doing other things — and by the way, I’m not sure what those other things were other than being, like, boy crazy,” Fishel, who played Cory’s girlfriend and eventual wife on BMW, admits to her mom in the doc. “The show ended and I didn’t understand. Like, now is the time you are supposed to be out auditioning all the time.” Her mom tells Fishel that she tried to get her to audition but she “didn’t want to do anything,” which Fishel admits is true. “I was so burnt out. I didn’t want to do anything at all,” she agrees before noting that the last few years of BMW also contributed to her negative attitude toward acting. “If the set experience had been different those last couple seasons, maybe I would have been different.” Fishel and her mom then hilariously recall her bad choice in men, recalling two boyfriends — one who “did not know the months in order” and had to “sing a song” to get it right, and another one who “out of a sentence with five words in it, three of them would be dude.” “He was so cute. I have no idea,” Fishel quips. “I had no standards. I guess it was based on attraction.” Strong, meanwhile, says that Fishel is the one who has “changed the most” over the years. “We really drifted apart. I sort of felt like she was the little sister I needed to move away from,” he shares. “She was always on a new trip, a new person.” Friedle notes, “Danielle was in a bit of a flux. I’ve known many Danielles. You needed them all to get to the person she is today.” Tension With ‘Boy Meets World’ Creator Michael Jacobs Fishel, Friedle and Strong sit around a table with Strong's brother, Shiloh, to discuss their fallout with Jacobs, who they say was “very proud” of the podcast until an episode with director Daniel Trainer dropped which questioned Jacobs’ methods. Although Friedle attempts to defend Jacobs, Strong calls the young cast allegedly being yelled at by Jacobs an “abuse cycle,” saying putting them through all the negative emotions was not needed in order to get them to up their game. Matthew Lawrence, who portrayed Strong’s on-screen brother Jack Hunter from seasons 5 through 7 on the show, then makes a brief cameo to discuss his complicated relationship to Jacobs. “The first major runthrough [of BMW], Michael Jacobs just. undressed my performance. I think his line was, ‘OK, there’s like 140-something notes for Matthew Lawrence,’” he recalled. “Initially, the ego came into play and I honestly thought, I’m not going to go back; I’m going to say I have a conflict of interest; it’s not good for me emotionally.’ I was done.” Eventually, however, he found the positive in Jacobs’ ways of communicating. “Michael was throwing me into the fire. and his method, you can say whatever you want, but who knows how many weeks it would have taken, what my ego would have become,” Lawrence explains. Strong won’t be budged. “There's a lot that I owe to Michael, but I needed to cut him out of my life and let him know that I don’t condone his behavior,” he tells the camera. ‘Girl Meets World’ Drama Revealed While the trio don’t often discuss BMW’s spinoff, Girl Meets World — which ran on Disney for three seasons from 2016 to 2019 — on the podcast, they often allude to the series as being more difficult behind-the-scenes than its OG counterpart. The doc provides a peek behind the curtain regarding some of the spinoff’s alleged issued. Frank Pace, a producer on the show, says Jacobs was both “great” and “a nightmare” to work with because he was such a “challenge,” before claiming that the writer made GMW’s stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter “cry” during the pilot table read, an event that Fishel says she ‘blocked out” of her brain. “Michael was horrible,” Pace recalled. “He reemed the entire young cast; he didn’t think they upheld the [legacy] of Boy Meets World. Rowan was crying; Sabrina was crying.” Fishel, for her part, was initially hesitant to return to the franchise over her reservations of making another show that prioritized romantic love. She says one of her “early conversations” with Jacobs about the series was regarding her desire to put the focus on female friendship. “If we are going to do a show on a 12-year-old girl, I don't want the entire focus to be on a relationship,” she recalls telling him. “If we have the opportunity to do a TV show that’s geared toward girls, I was like, let’s make it about friendship.” She says that Jacobs promised her the “love story” of GMW was not going to be about “a boy,” but about Blanchard and Carpenter’s characters, Riley — Topanga and Cory’s daughters — and Maya, Riley’s BFF. But that quickly changed. “I was like, I love that. And then in the pilot of the show, [she meets a boy].” Fishel says that as a full-time cast member on the spinoff, she started to challenge Jacobs, which caused waves. “Eventually, I got the courage to push back [on the GMW set] and I started confronting Michael. And that did not go over well.” Friedle, meanwhile, admits he initially was not going to be in the show at all because of having to learn it was greenlit when CNN “called and asked for a comment.” Jacobs was persistent. “And [Michael Jacobs] said you can do whatever on the show,” he remembers, “And I said,’ I want to be a writer,’ and he was like, ‘You can’t do that.’” (Will ended up writing a couple of episodes of the show and reprising the role of Eric for a handful of episodes.) Strong was most interested in staying behind the camera. “When GMW came around, I didn’t consider myself an actor anymore and I definitely did not want to go back and put on the leather jacket and be Shawn Hunter again,” he quipped. “I ended up directing with my brother [Shiloh] for, like, 18 episodes and it was so much fun to be on set and be with the kids and kind of get a second chance to eat my own childhood.” (Strong did reprise the role of Shawn as a guest star throughout the three seasons, eventually marrying Maya’s mom.)
