Milania Giudice's Unexpected Legal Drama: What Really Happened? New

Milania Giudice's Unexpected Legal Drama: What Really Happened?

Teresa Giudice’s daughter Milania Giudice was arrested for assault last month, Us Weekly can confirm. The 20-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star was taken into custody by Montville Township police after her involvement in a domestic violence incident on May 14 that took place around 6:12 p.m. (The Sun was the first to report the news.) "On May 14, 2026, the Montville Township Police Department received a report of a dispute at a residence in town. The investigation resulted in Milania Giudice being charged on a summons complaint with one count of Simple Assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C: 12-1a(1) a Disorderly Persons Offense," a statement from Chief Andrew Caggiano, obtained by Us, read. "She was released pending her next court appearance. A criminal complaint is merely an accusation. Despite this accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until she has been proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law." Further details have not been released since the complaint has been marked "confidential." A hearing was held on May 19, but no plea was entered. Milania — who is currently a student at the University of Tampa, majoring in advertising and public relations — was introduced to Bravo viewers as Teresa’s wild child daughter when RHONJ premiered in 2009. The reality star was known for her many antics and quotable moments as a kid — like calling her late Nonno “a nice little fella” or referring to her father, Joe Giudice, as an “old troll.” As she’s gotten older, Milania has gained quite a following on TikTok, constantly posting videos with her Bravo-famous family. (Along with Milania, Teresa and Joe share daughters Gia, 25, Gabriella, 22, and Audriana, 16.) On the day of her arrest, Milania posted a selfie video set to a TikTok audio that said, “You are a diva. A young, beautiful diva.” It was the last video she posted before returning to the platform on May 26. Milania didn’t acknowledge there was any drama at the time. While Milania is known for her close relationship with her father, who was deported to Italy in 2019 after completing a 41-month prison sentence and currently resides in the Bahamas, she has adapted to her new family life with stepfather Louis “Louie” Ruelas, who Teresa wed in August 2022. “Louie’s the best stepdad ever, and he’s so cool,” Milania told sister Gia during a 2025 episode of the “Casual Chaos” podcast. “Anytime I have a problem, he'll talk to me about it. He’s really the best stepdad ever. He’s really cool.” When Teresa and Louie got married, Milania and Gia gained two stepbrothers, who have become a part of their extended family. “It was, honestly, fine. Honestly, I think it would’ve been much harder if we had to move in with girls,” Milania said during the same podcast episode. “I’m so lucky that Louie only had two boys. Boys are so easy. They actually don’t give a s*** about anything.”

Millie Bobby Brown Fires Back at Mom-Shamers: 'Stay in Your Lane' New

Millie Bobby Brown Fires Back at Mom-Shamers: 'Stay in Your Lane'

Millie Bobby Brown is not here for the parenting police criticizing her motherhood choices. “I was like, ‘This is vicious, you are vicious,’ and I don’t have time for angry women that just need to bring you down, especially when it comes to motherhood,” Brown, 22, stated on the Thursday, June 11, episode of the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “I’ve never experienced anything like this. It’s like, I can always deal with the, ‘Oh, my God, you showed your nipples? What a bitch!’ I’m like, ‘Whatever.’ I don’t care about that, but when you’re like, ‘You didn’t put a hat on your baby?’ I’m like, ‘Try putting a hat on my baby. I dare you [to] put a beanie on her.’” Brown continued, “Stay in your own lane, put a hat on your baby and put a sock in your mouth. Sorry, the English is coming out of me, but it’s so true. Like, shut up.” Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, welcomed their first child in August 2025. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” Brown and Bongiovi, 24, wrote in a joint Instagram statement, without revealing their daughter’s name. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter in both peace and privacy. And then there were three!” Brown and Bongiovi now try to raise their little girl out of the spotlight, though they haven't been immune from receiving judgment from social media users. “I’ve dealt with this mostly online, but when I do experience it in person, a lot of people will be like, ‘That’s a really big piece. Are you going to let her eat that?’” Brown told podcast host Kylie Kelce. “I know what my baby can eat. I will draw the line where necessary.” As for the Enola Holmes star, she’s had practice dealing with haters. “I have really thick skin. I’ve really never cared. A lot of people have a lot to say about, ‘Oh, you got married too young, you had a baby too young, you did this, you did that [and] why are you wearing that?’” Brown stated. “I’m at a point where I don’t care about myself. I don’t care what you say about me, I’m very used to it. It’s, like, growing up with that, it’s second nature to you.” She continued, “However, I do have a problem with it happening to other young girls. That’s where I’m very lucky — I have a great support system and a healthier mindset about it, but I’m very aware that others might not.” Brown’s support system, including her parents and her in-laws, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley, also decline to offer unsolicited parenting advice. “They just let me live. They’re really good with that,” the actress said. “Then, they’re like, ‘I love the way you did that.’ I need the validation [because] it’s helpful to hear that I did something good.”
