Mick Jagger's Loves: Chaos, Scandal, and Eight Children Revealed
Mick Jagger's personal life has been as eventful as his music career, including relationships with notable figures and a plethora of high-profile affairs. A new book by Bob Spitz highlights some of these events, including an alleged affair with bandmate Keith Richards’ girlfriend Anita Pallenberg during the filming of "Performance."
On-Screen Romance and Off-Screen Affairs
Jagger's romantic link to Anita Pallenberg began during their work on the 1970 film "Performance," where they filmed intimate scenes together. The book suggests that their relationship extended beyond the camera.
At the time, Jagger was in a relationship with actress Marianne Faithfull, who allegedly had past connections with other members of The Rolling Stones.
Complicated Relationships
After breaking off with Chrissie Shrimpton, who attempted suicide when she discovered Jagger's infidelity, Jagger proposed to Marianne Faithfull. However, she declined his proposal amidst her battle with substance abuse.
Around this period, Jagger started seeing Marsha Hunt and fathered a child, Karis. Simultaneously, Faithfull's drug use intensified significantly.
Marriages and Later Life
Jagger married Bianca Pérez-Mora de Macías in 1971. Their marriage ended in divorce due to his infidelity. Subsequently, Jagger formed a long-term relationship with model Jerry Hall, with whom he had four children.
His affair with Luciana Gimenez led to the birth of a son named Lucas, contributing to his split from Hall. Later on, he dated L'Wren Scott until her untimely death in 2014.
Currently, Mick Jagger is in a relationship with ballet dancer Melanie Hamrick; they share a son together. Efforts to reach Jagger for comment were unsuccessful.
