Bachelor Star Peter Weber Stuns Fans with Twin Baby News New

Bachelor Star Peter Weber Stuns Fans with Twin Baby News

Peter Weber and his new girlfriend, Jadeyn Carr, are going to be parents — and they have twins on the way. "1 + 1 = 4 ♥️," the couple captioned a joint Instagram post on Thursday, September 3, alongside photos of the pair celebrating their growing family. One of the snapshots showed Peter, 35, sweetly kissing Jadeyn's bare baby bump. Peter's brother, Jack Weber, replied in the comments section, "Wohoo! Can’t wait to meet them!!" https://www.instagram.com/p/Dc102JDILNc/?igsi=MzRlODBiNWFlZA%3D%3D Peter and Jadeyn have been dating for less than a year after meeting online. The former Bachelor confirmed his romance with Jadeyn on August 13, including the model in an Instagram carousel succinctly captioned, “Summer ‘26.” In the pictures, Jadeyn appeared to join Peter and his family on a trip to the Adirondacks in upstate New York. Less than one week later, Peter shared more loved-up photos featuring Jadeyn. “Favorites,” Peter wrote via Instagram on August 19 alongside images of Jadeyn joining him in a plane’s cockpit before cuddling up on a beach vacation. Peter’s mother, Barbara Weber, also shared her approval of the new couple. “SO HAPPY YOU BROUGHT HER HOME!!❤️,” Barbara wrote via Instagram alongside a pic of the pilot and Jadeyn. Peter replied, “So this is what you meant all along… ✅❤️.” According to Barbara, her son knew “exactly” what she meant. “I’m so happy for you two!” the proud grandma-to-be gushed in response. “She fits into all of our hearts❤️.” Peter served as the Bachelor for 2020’s season 24, where he introduced finalists Hannah Ann Sluss and Madi Prewett to his parents before the final rose ceremony. After Barbara met Hannah Ann, now 30, she tearfully pleaded with Peter not to “let her go” and to “bring her home.” Peter ultimately followed his mom’s advice, proposing to Hannah Ann, 30, during the finale. The pair, however, called it quits weeks later over Peter’s lingering feelings for Madi, now 30. Peter and Madi went their separate ways just days later. He later moved on with fellow Bachelor contestant Kelley Flanagan, former show producer Julie LaPlaca and actress Brook Sill before meeting Jadeyn. (Peter joined the Bachelor franchise in 2019 as a contestant on Hannah Brown's Bachelorette season.) Even before connecting with Jadeyn, Peter remained hopeful that he’d meet The One. “I was in New York for the last four years, and [Kelley] and I had gone back on-and-off a little bit during that time, but [the] majority of it was all single,” Peter said on a 2025 episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast. “I always wanted a relationship. It’s no secret, obviously, but you know, I was never going to be someone to force anything.” Peter relocated to his native California last year, where Jadeyn is pursuing a modeling career.

Why Burning Man's Aging Crowd is Sparking Conversations New

Why Burning Man's Aging Crowd is Sparking Conversations

The man will burn…and he’s also getting on in years.Burning Man — the nine-day celebration of art, music, and anarchist hijinks in the Nevada desert — has been steadily shrinking since its 2019 peak, but the share of people in their 40s and 50s is on the rise, data shows. The number of free-loving revelers flocking to “the playa” — where each year a city is built on bare sand and razed after a week of drug-fueled, clothing-optional partying — dipped to about 70,000 last year after peaking close to 80,000, according to last year’s census of Black Rock City, the ad hoc municipality that hosts the burn.Burners feel the vibes at Burning Man 2023. AFP via Getty ImagesAn overhead view of Black Rock City — a.k.a. “the playa” — which hosts Burning Man. DigitalGlobe/Getty ImagesBut the oldies are proving they have more stamina than the kids. In 2014, burners under 30 made up 30% of the playa. That number plunged by more than half to 14% by 2025.Adrielle Knight, 41, attended in 2023, when a rainstorm flooded camps and turned the exit route into an impassable muddy mess. She recalled one young influencer saying, “This is not like Coachella at all!”“It’s really out of one’s comfort zone, even if you have a comfy camp. And maybe Millennials and Gen X-ers have a higher tolerance for discomfort?” Knight told The Post.Men have also historically outnumbered women, and that trend still holds strong, with males making up 56% of burners last year.“Burners” dismantle their Unicorner camp in the muddy Black Rock Desert after heavy rains at Burning Man. AP“It was an oasis of men! I didn’t mind,” Knight said of her experience, although she said the gender gap wasn’t significantly noticeable to her.But as those men arrived with camera phones, the number of women partying topless has dropped — reported veteran burners on social media.“When did the nudity disappear? … Yes, there were some swingin’ hogs, I saw you, but I would say the amount of female toplessness decreased like 95% from the last time I was there,” lamented one burner on the r/BurningMan subreddit who attended a recent festival after a 10-year hiatus. The burn’s famous Orgy Dome has strict regulations to ward away horny pickup artists, including a “couples and moresomes” entry policy.Burners are also getting wealthier, with half of festival-goers making more than $100,000, compared to just a quarter at that income level in 2015. However, the trend flattens some when adjusted for inflation.Stranded festivalgoers waiting for traffic to move so they can leave the event. APMeanwhile, the festival itself has gotten more expensive to attend.“It also can be very cost prohibitive,” said Knight, who spent around $1,000 on supplies and preparation in 2023 — on top of the ticket price, which went up to $775 this year.In addition, burners are charged extra fees to drive a vehicle into Black Rock City.“My first burn in 2005, I was 21. I bought a ticket for $215 … I think I spent $1000 or so all in for that year,” Michael McQuaid lamented on X. “It sucks that the s–t economy is pricing out so many of the younger, less financially-established burners,” he added.

Why 'Wheel of Fortune' Announcer Jim Thornton Is Making Headlines

An attorney for Jim Thornton claims the “Wheel of Fortune” announcer accidentally visited a pedophilia support site while on an airplane. In a letter obtained by Page Six Thursday, Thornton’s attorney, Allison Hart, alleged that the voice actor clicked on the site by mistake. Thornton has not been arrested or charged in connection with the incident.“My client has become active in suicide-prevention advocacy since losing a close family member to suicide two years ago, and he has spent time visiting chat rooms offering support to individuals suffering from suicidal ideation,” she wrote in the letter.“Wheel of Fortune” announcer Jim Thornton’s attorney claims the voice actor (pictured) accidentally visited a pedophilia support site while on an airplane in May — which led to his suspension from the game show as Sony investigates. Through an acquaintance in the suicide prevention space, my client was misdirected to a forum with a similar URL, the forum lifeline.chat, which my client understood to be a forum offering suicide prevention support similar to 988lifeline.org and chat.988lifeline.org,” the letter continued.Hart alleged that Thornton, 61, did not know that the website “lifeline.chat” claims to offer mental health support to individuals with pedophilic thoughts.“When my client understood what the website was about, he left the page and has not visited since,” she claimed. “The website lifeline.chat itself is not unlawful, there is no unlawful child pornography or other pedophilic content, and my client has never viewed, downloaded or consumed any child pornography, whether on that commercial flight in May or at any other time.”Hart further stressed, “It is for that reason that my client was never arrested or charged with a crime. Why 'Chinese Nostradamus' Predictions for 2027 Are Sparking Global Concern New

Why 'Chinese Nostradamus' Predictions for 2027 Are Sparking Global Concern

A Chinese educator and online commentator known as the “Chinese Nostradamus” has issued five chilling predictions for 2027. Professor Jiang is the online persona of Jiang Xueqin, a Chinese-Canadian educator, former journalist and high-school teacher based in Beijing, who regularly predicts world events. He came to fame after making three high-profile forecasts in 2024: that Donald Trump would win the US election, that the US would go to war with Iran, and that America would lose that war. Following those claims that ultimately came to fruition, Jiang says his 2027 scenario involves five interlocking developments, each severe on its own, but especially dangerous in combination. Jiang predicts US 'full-scale' invasion of Iran and national draft The 'Chinese Nostradamus' has made five new predictions for 2027, including a US invasion of Iran. Credit: Professor Jiang/Predictive History/YouTube His first prediction is that the US will launch a full-scale ground invasion of Iran, which will then bog down into a protracted, Vietnam-style conflict. He claimed, “Prediction one: the ground invasion begins and it becomes a quagmire. So the first prediction is the one that most people are already sensing, but nobody wants to say out loud. “America is going to send ground troops into Iran, a full-scale ground invasion, and it is going to become a quagmire. That is prediction number one.” Next, he says a framework for a national draft will be in place by 2027, possibly with legislation already passed and some people already drafted, but certain groups may refuse. “A national draft and why Gen Z will not go. So by 2027, the framework for a national draft should already be in place,” Jiang said. “It is possible that legislation has already been passed. And here is the problem with the national draft.” In other appearances, he has specified that men aged 18–26 could be automatically enrolled in the draft pool by late 2026, creating a Vietnam-like backlash. Jiang foresees increased ICE presence and issues with the global economy Jiang’s third forecast shifts focus from foreign war to domestic security, predicting a major ramp-up in immigration enforcement and militarised policing inside the US. He says: “Prediction three. And this is a prediction that will surprise most people because most people are focused on what is happening overseas. They are not paying attention to what is happening at home. By 2027, ICE will be far more powerful than most people currently imagine, and the National Guard will be deployed to every major American city.” The fourth prediction is an economic shockwave that he says will hit everyone, regardless of where they live. He describes it as: “Prediction four: the global economy collapses, the just-in-time problem. “And now prediction four. And this is a prediction that will affect every single person watching this video, regardless of where you live.” In related commentary, he has linked this to supply-chain fragility, food-price spikes and market crashes that wipe out ordinary savings. A civil war that escalates into widespread fighting His final and most alarming claim is that by 2027 the conditions for a US civil conflict will already exist – though he stresses this would not look like two conventional armies facing off. He explains: “Prediction five: the ingredients for civil war are in place. And now the fifth and final prediction, and this is the one that connects everything else together. “By 2027, all the ingredients for civil war in America should already be in place. Now I want to be very clear about what I mean by civil war. I do not mean two armies fighting each other in the streets. “That is not what modern civil conflict looks like. What it looks like is this: nationwide discontent, riots, protests, insurgencies, low-level conflict that is everywhere and nowhere simultaneously.” Jiang argues that the real danger lies in the coinciding of all five trends at once. “Think about what happens when all five of my predictions land at the same time: a ground invasion of Iran that is clearly failing and has no end in sight; a national draft that Gen Z is refusing; the National Guard deployed to major American cities; the global economy collapsing and food prices surging; and a market crash wiping out the savings of ordinary families.” Taken together, he suggests this could produce a self-reinforcing cycle of foreign military failure, domestic conscription resistance, heavy-handed internal security measures, economic breakdown and widespread social unrest – the “ingredients” for a modern-style civil war in the United States by 2027.

Dolly Parton's Secret Battle: The Truth Behind Her Private Struggle New

Dolly Parton's Secret Battle: The Truth Behind Her Private Struggle

Dolly Parton’s niece is opening up about why the singer chose to keep her cancer battle “real private” before her death. “She never wanted to worry anybody,” Jada Star told Extra on Tuesday, September 1, adding, “So I think it was just a shock.” Star also got candid about how she’s been doing since Parton’s death on August 25. “It's been really difficult and very surreal,” she shared. “It's also been really bittersweet because of this beautiful opportunity we've had to see how much the whole world loves her. All of these tributes have helped so much.” She ended her interview by revealing what she would say to Parton if she could. “I think I would just say thank you so much, and I love you so much,” Star said while tearing up. “And I know you're OK. We're going to be OK.” Parton’s rep confirmed her death at age 80 in a statement last month. “Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright and author, died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee,” the statement read. “A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth and kindness that made us all feel like family.” That same day, a spokesperson for Parton shared that the country icon had a “brief battle with cancer.” “After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones,” the message read. The type of cancer was not disclosed. More of Parton’s loved ones have since reacted to her death, including Miley Cyrus, who was her goddaughter. “The feeling of losing my Aunt Dolly is beyond what feels right to share. Our most sacred moments were private and they’ll stay there behind the stage, beneath the glamour & between our hearts,” Cyrus, 33, wrote via Instagram one day after the news broke. “What I KNOW is Dolly would want me to feel it, write a song about it, and then continue on and be strong. I have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. .” She added, “I will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We’re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things. .”

Why the Netherlands Pulled 78 Tons of Gold from the US New

Why the Netherlands Pulled 78 Tons of Gold from the US

The Dutch central bank has yanked more than 78 metric tons of gold out of New York, citing the tumultuous international climate — the latest European country to ditch or downsize its US precious metal stores.De Nederlandsche Bank, or DNB, cut its New York holdings as it reallocated about 86 total metric tons of gold held across the US and Canada, largely toward London, according to the Financial Times. The bank said the overhaul was designed to strengthen its readiness for a crisis amid “increasing geopolitical unrest.”Gold held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York has come under fresh scrutiny as European officials debate the risks of keeping national reserves in the US.DNB did not blame Trump or suggest Washington was planning to seize its reserves.Instead, the central bank said spreading its gold more evenly across jurisdictions would reduce risk while making more of the precious metal readily available during a crisis, the Financial Times reported.“With this relocation, we have improved the tradeability of our gold reserves,” DNB governor Olaf Sleijpen said.Earlier this year, France eliminated its remaining New York gold holdings, selling 129 metric tons that had been stored in the States, according to reports. It used proceeds from the January sale to buy an equivalent amount of gold in Europe, and the precious pile now sits in Paris. The Banque de France explicitly ruled out a political explanation for the move at the time.As for the Netherlands, it holds about 612 metric tons of gold. Its latest reshuffling reduced the country’s New York stockpile by just over 78 metric tons and its Ottawa holdings by roughly 7 metric tons, according to the FT.A US ton is about 10% heavier than a metric ton. Most of the bullion didn’t actually cross the Atlantic.President Trump’s unpredictable policies have fueled calls from German politicians and taxpayer advocates to reconsider keeping the country’s gold reserves in New York. Getty ImagesOnly about 27 metric tons were physically transported from North America to Europe, while DNB sold much of its remaining North American holdings and purchased replacement gold in London, the world’s largest physical-bullion trading hub.The shift nevertheless comes against a politically charged backdrop in Europe, where several German lawmakers have publicly questioned whether keeping their country’s massive gold hoard in New York remains prudent under Trump.Markus Ferber, a German member of the European Parliament, warned last year that Trump’s unpredictability created risk around holding foreign reserves in the US.“Trump is erratic and one cannot rule out that someday he will come up with creative ideas how to treat foreign gold reserves,” Ferber told Reuters in May 2025.German Green lawmaker Katharina Beck has likewise called for reconsidering the country’s US holdings, warning that its reserves must not become a geopolitical “pawn.”Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, another German member of the European Parliament, has also argued that Trump’s policies make the country’s lack of unrestricted physical control over its New York gold a growing risk.None of the politicians has said Trump has an actual plan to confiscate the bullion.Michael Jäger, who heads the European Taxpayers Association and is not a politician, has issued an even starker warning.“Trump is unpredictable,” Jäger said earlier this year, arguing that German gold was “no longer safe” in the Fed’s vaults and raising concerns that Germany could potentially lose access to it.Germany has by far the biggest exposure among the countries at the center of the debate. Its Bundesbank holds about 3,350 total metric tons of gold, including 1,236 metric tons stored in New York — about 37% of its total reserves. About 1,710 metric tons are held in Frankfurt and about 404 metric tons in London. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York holds gold on behalf of foreign governments and central banks, including 1,236 metric tons belonging to Germany. ARKADIY – stock.adobe.comGermany carried out a massive repatriation from 2013 to 2017, ultimately moving 300 metric tons from New York to Frankfurt and another 374 metric tons from Paris.Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel has rejected the argument that Germany’s New York holdings are in jeopardy.“I have no doubt that the gold is safely stored at the Federal Reserve in New York,” Nagel he said in an interview earlier this year, noting that the reserves enjoy special legal protections.“Eventually, the US would hurt itself most if it were to call that legal status into question in any way and thereby put the confidence of financial markets at risk,” he added. The New York Fed acts as custodian rather than owner of foreign governments’ bullion, and US law generally shields foreign central bank assets from being seized by private creditors to satisfy court judgments. The Post has sought comment from the White House.
