Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new prison has faced allegations of making life a living hell for inmates. The disgraced music mogul, 56, was transferred to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, the Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed to Page Six Friday, after spending the past year at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. The Allenwood facility was previously accused of “inhumane” treatment of inmates and held prisoners indicted in an alleged coordinated assault involving makeshift weapons.Allenwood Low’s history includes a lawsuit alleging cruel and unusual punishment and a separate criminal case involving an alleged plot by inmates to attack other prisoners. The Bad Boy Records mogul, snapped above in 2023, was transferred from New Jersey Prison FCI Fort Dix, Page Six has confirmed. Federal Bureau of PrisonsIn a 2017 lawsuit, former inmate Anthony Mammana accused a prison lieutenant of retaliating against him by confining him in a freezing room known as the “Yellow Room” for four days.Mammana claimed he was stripped of his usual clothing and forced to wear thin, transparent garments while being denied blankets, sheets and a pillow. He also said bright lights remained on around the clock, depriving him of sleep, and that he was denied basic necessities, including toilet paper, soap and towels, while guards mocked him.The court agreed that Mammana’s treatment was inhumane. However, due to a legal technicality, he couldn’t pursue damages.Combs, pictured above, will be forced to adjust to his new home – which found itself embroiled in a lawsuit after an inmate claimed he was held in “inhumane” conditions. Mike CoppolaWhile the case was dismissed, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals stated that the prison Combs (pictured above) is now staying at engaged in “denial of the minimal civilized measure of life’s necessities.” Diddy/InstagramIn a separate Sept. 2025 incident, federal prosecutors announced that 17 Allenwood Low inmates had been indicted over an alleged gang-related conspiracy to assault other prisoners in June 2023.Prosecutors alleged the defendants conspired to attack other inmates with dangerous weapons, including locks and other heavy objects attached to strings, belts and socks. According to authorities, the coordinated assault stemmed from a turf dispute to forcibly seize control of the housing unit’s television and telephone areas.Several defendants also faced charges of possessing prohibited weapons inside the prison. The prosecution was brought forward under a Department of Justice initiative targeting transnational criminal organizations. Representatives for the Bureau of Prisons did not respond to request for comment. The musician’s new home also dealt with a 2023 gang-related incident, which resulted in charges for 17 inmates. CBS NEWSCombs, snapped above in FCI Fort Dix, will be residing in a prison that found itself in the middle of a Department of Justice initiative targeting transnational criminal organizations. NBC 4Combs’ transfer comes days after he suffered a head injury while incarcerated at Fort Dix.The incident sparked a report from TMZ, which Combs’ family denied, that the rapper had been involved in a fight with fellow inmate Christopher “Dudus” Coke, a convicted Jamaican drug lord. The Bureau of Prisons declined to discuss the circumstances of Combs’ transfer. The move also comes amid reports that Combs had been enjoying a surprisingly comfortable stint behind bars.Last month, NBC News reported that four inmates alleged Combs had access to massages, premium alcohol and a cellphone while incarcerated at Fort Dix. The inmates also claimed other prisoners helped cook for him and clean his living space.Combs’ representative pushed back on the reports, telling Page Six that Combs was serving his sentence in accordance with prison rules while pursuing an appeal. The transfer follows recent reports that Combs, pictured in 2022, was hospitalized with a head injury while at Fort Dix. He was acquitted of more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy following his federal trial in New York.Combs is appealing his conviction and sentence. Katie Zacharia Praises Trump After Sudden Departure as Press Secretary

See more of our coverage in your search results. Ex-White House press secretary Katie Zacharia had nothing but kind words to say about President Trump hours after she left her post following just five days in the role.“President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him,” she posted on X. “No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to. It was an honor to work for him.”The post included a photo of Zacharia smiling while standing next to Trump as he sat at the Resolute Desk inside the Oval Office during her brief tenure, with a map on the president’s desk that had its details blurred out. “President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man. I wish more Americans appreciated him,” White House press secretary Katie Zacharia captioned her post. It had 7.2 million views as of Saturday morning. In a sign of the rapid disintegration of her tenure, the post “pinned” to the top of her account Oct. 9 had screen shots of Trump congratulating her on her appointment as press secretary. She left her post Friday after a pair of shaky interviews on Fox News.On Thursday, she appeared on Sean Hannity’s program where the host said her first and only White House press briefing had been “widely panned” and questioned her decision to label herself as an “attorney” despite failing to pass the California bar after graduating from law school.During a Friday morning interview on “Fox & Friends,” she struggled to deliver talking points about the search of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) home and wasn’t able to say when her next press briefing would occur.Hours later, Trump publicly urged her to reconsider her role, telling the reporters before departing the White House for a rally, “I’ve watched her for years on television, but I said, ‘Is this for you, Katie? Because honestly, you don’t need this.’”Zacharia isn’t out entirely: a source familiar with the situation said she would be transitioning to a new role, and she was to have dined Friday night with Vice President JD Vance. Katie Zacharia Fired as White House Press Secretary After Just 5 Days

Published 09:59 17 Oct 2026 GMT+1After Donald Trump suggested that 'maybe' the job wasn't right for her, Katie Zacharia called it 'an honor to work for him' Katie Zacharia has praised Donald Trump after she was axed from her role as White House press secretary following a rocky inaugural briefing.A person familiar with the matter said on Friday (16 October) that Zacharia, 42, would be transitioning out of the role after just five days in it. Taking to X, she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Trump that it was ‘an honor to work for him’. “President Trump is a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man,” she penned. Advert“I wish more Americans appreciated him. No one will ever make America great the way he has and continues to.”During the 14-minute briefing on Tuesday, Zacharia visibly struggled to answer just three questions. She spent more than half that time reading pre-prepared remarks.Zacharia struggled during her first inaugural briefing (Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)When asked by Fox News if the US had stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine, she said she would ‘have to get back to you on that’.There was also an awkward moment when she referred to ‘my president’ instead of ‘my husband’.Following on from Karoline Leavitt, Zacharia was a surprise choice when Trump announced her appointment earlier this month. He said he told Zacharia that she might want to change her mind about the job, and said he thought she had been treated unfairly by the press.“I told her, ‘I think you’re better off being happy’,” Trump told reporters on the White House lawn as he left for a rally in Georgia.Zacharia praised Trump and said that it was ‘an honor to work for him’ (Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Images)“I said, ‘Honestly, if I were you, I’d reconsider’. I said, ‘You think about it, but I would reconsider’.“‘Katie, do you need this? I don’t think you need this’,” and that he wanted ‘her to have a good life’ and not be subjected to criticism, which he likened to being ‘brutalised by the media’.On Friday, Zacharia was asked by Fox News if she had the president’s confidence and responded: “I hope to be able to build the trust and confidence of everyone around me.”Zacharia graduated from Pepperdine University's Seaver College in 2007 and the Caruso School of Law in 2011.Zacharia was fired after just five days in the job (Aaron Schwartz/Bloomberg via Getty ImagesThat year, she married film producer Tyler Zacharia and the couple has four children. She has spoken publicly about being adopted as a newborn and meeting her biological mother Ruth at 18.After graduating, she and her husband moved to Beijing, where she worked as an international legal consultant/associate at the Zhong Lun Law Firm and managed fundraising and communications for Compassion for Migrant Children. However, the conservative commentator had long called herself a lawyer when she had not passed a bar exam. Before becoming White House Press Secretary in October 2026, Zacharia worked as a senior communications adviser for Trump Media & Technology Group, the company operating Truth Social, and briefly served as the deputy assistant secretary for public affairs at the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in early 2026 before resigning after about a month.Featured Image Credit: Chip Somodevilla/Getty ImagesTopics: US News, Donald Trump

6 Surprising Ways Music Influences Your Mind New

6 Surprising Ways Music Influences Your Mind

1. Music Can Alter Your Perception of TimeEver found that time flies when you're listening to your favorite tunes? Music can significantly alter your perception of time. Upbeat, fast-paced tracks tend to make us feel that time is passing more quickly, while slower songs can create the impression that time is dragging. This happens because music engages multiple brain areas responsible for processing temporal information, effectively distracting us from clock-watching.2. Background Music Enhances Learning and MemoryHaving background music can actually aid learning and memory retention, particularly when it's instrumental. Music without lyrics offers a non-distracting stimulus that can improve focus and concentration. This is known as the 'Mozart Effect,' where the presence of music enhances spatial-temporal reasoning and memory performance, making it a useful tool for studying or working.3. Music Can Trigger Powerful Emotional ResponsesMusic's ability to evoke emotions is profound. It can trigger the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward. This emotional response is why certain songs can make us feel happy, sad, or nostalgic. The brain's limbic system, which manages emotions, gets activated when we listen to music, explaining its power to move us deeply.4. Listening to Music Can Improve Physical PerformanceAthletes often use music to enhance their physical performance. The rhythm and tempo can synchronize with our movements, improving efficiency and endurance during exercise. Music can also reduce perceived exertion, making workouts feel less tiring. This effect is particularly noticeable in repetitive activities like running or cycling, where the beat helps maintain a steady pace.5. Music Can Influence Your Food ChoicesBelieve it or not, the type of music playing in a restaurant can affect your menu choices. Studies have shown that loud music tends to lead to orders of more indulgent, high-calorie foods, while softer music encourages healthier choices.
