The Shocking Truth Behind My Sister-In-Law's Secret Party New

The Shocking Truth Behind My Sister-In-Law's Secret Party

Now I understood.Every corner held a memory. The little blue vase beside the kitchen window. The faded blanket she had knitted. The pillows she’d sewn herself, carefully choosing the fabric because she said flowers made the room feel happier. And Rose had turned all of it into the background for a party.I wiped my eyes and started the car.I didn’t call my husband.I didn’t call the police. Not yet.Instead, I drove home.On the way, I made one decision.I wasn’t going to confront Rose while I was furious. If I did, she would cry, apologize, blame the alcohol, blame her friends, and somehow turn herself into the victim.I’d seen it before.Rose always had a way of making other people’s boundaries sound cruel. So I decided to let her believe everything was fine. That was my first mistake in the past.I had always confronted her too soon. This time, I wouldn’t.When I arrived home, my husband was sitting at the kitchen table. He looked up.“You’re back already?”I put my purse down.“Yes.”He studied my face.“What happened?”“Nothing.”He frowned.“You look upset.”“I just need some time.”He stood.“Is it your mom?”I nearly broke at those words.I nodded.“Something happened at the house.”His expression immediately changed.“What?”I looked at him for a long moment. Then I asked quietly:“Where is Rose?”He hesitated.“Why?”“Just tell me.”“She went out with some friends.”I smiled. It was the kind of smile that surprised even me.“Okay.”My husband stared at me.“Why are you smiling?”“I’m not.”“You are.”I picked up my purse.“Don’t worry about it.”That night, I barely slept.I kept replaying the scene in my mind. The open door. The music. The laughter.Rose holding champagne beneath the framed photograph of my mother.I remembered something else, too.One of the guests had been sitting on Mother’s handmade pillow.I remembered how long she had spent making those. My mother had arthritis toward the end.Her fingers hurt constantly. But she still insisted on sewing. She once pricked her finger while making that exact pillow.I had teased her about it.“Mom, you don’t have to make everything yourself.”She had smiled.“I know.”“Then why do you?”“Because someday you’ll look at these things and remember me.”That memory broke something inside me.I got out of bed.At 2:17 in the morning, I opened my laptop.I didn’t search for revenge.I didn’t search for ways to embarrass Rose.I simply began making a list.Everything in the house.Everything Rose had taken.Everything she had damaged.Every expense.Every photograph.Every piece of evidence.I knew one thing about people like Rose. They only understood consequences when those consequences became real. The next morning, I called a locksmith. Then I called someone else.A professional cleaner. Then a furniture restoration company.I didn’t tell anyone why.I wanted the house restored before Rose realized I knew. But there was one more thing I did.Something Rose couldn’t possibly have expected.I checked the security system. My mother had installed cameras around the property after a neighbor’s boat was stolen years ago.I’d never really paid attention to them.Apparently, Rose hadn’t either.I logged into the account. There were hours of footage.I watched the recording from the night of the party. At first, I expected to see exactly what I’d witnessed.Instead, I saw something that made my stomach tighten.Rose hadn’t simply walked into the house with a group of friends. She had arrived alone. At 4:12 p.m.She unlocked the door. She carried two large bags inside. Then she made a phone call.I turned up the volume. Her voice was faint, but I could hear enough.“Yes, everything’s ready.”Pause.“No, she doesn’t know.”My heart began pounding.I rewound the footage.Again.“Yes, everything’s ready.”“No, she doesn’t know.”I froze.Who was she talking to?I watched another twenty minutes.Rose moved around the house confidently, as if she had been there many times before. She opened cabinets.Checked the refrigerator.Walked upstairs. Then she returned carrying something. An envelope.I recognized it immediately. It had been sitting inside my mother’s desk.My mother’s handwriting was on the front. My name.I had never opened it.My mother had left several things behind after she died, and I had been unable to go through all of them. But that envelope was supposed to be there.I had seen it.I had touched it.I had promised myself I’d read it when I was ready. Now it was gone.My breathing became shallow.I checked the footage again.Rose didn’t open the envelope.Instead, she placed it into one of her bags. Then she looked directly toward the camera. For a second, I wondered whether she knew she was being recorded. She smiled. Not the careless smile she used at family dinners.Something different.Something deliberate. Then she walked away.I sat motionless.Suddenly, the ruined house wasn’t the most frightening part anymore. The party wasn’t the most important thing. The stolen keys weren’t either.Rose had been looking for something. And whatever it was…My mother had apparently known it would matter.I called my husband. He answered sleepily.“What happened?”“Come downstairs.”There was something in my voice that woke him completely.“What is it?”“I need you to see something.”A few minutes later, we sat together at the kitchen table.I played the footage. He watched silently. When Rose put the envelope into her bag, his face changed.“What’s that?”“My mother’s letter.”“You told me you hadn’t opened it.”“I hadn’t.”“Then why did Rose take it?”“I don’t know.”He stared at the screen.“Maybe she found it.”“No.”I shook my head.“She knew exactly where it was.”He looked at me.“Are you sure?”“I saw that desk after Mom died. Rose wasn’t there.”Silence filled the kitchen. Then my husband said something that made my blood run cold.“Did Rose know about the cameras?”“I don’t think so.”“Then why did she look at it?”I didn’t have an answer. And that was when I realized something.Maybe the party had never been about the party.Maybe the destruction had been a distraction.Maybe Rose wanted us to think she was simply being selfish and reckless.Because while everyone was staring at the champagne bottles, the trash, and the broken furniture…She had taken something much more important. My mother’s letter.I stood up.“I’m going back to the lake house.”My husband grabbed his keys.“I’m coming.”“No.”He looked surprised.“Why?”“Because I need to find out what else she took.”I drove there alone. When I arrived, the house was silent. The party was over. But the damage was everywhere.I walked slowly through the living room. For the first time, I didn’t see a mess.I saw evidence.A chair moved six inches from where Mom had always kept it.A drawer left slightly open.A cabinet door that didn’t close properly.A picture frame turned face-down.I began checking everything. The bedroom. The bathroom. The kitchen. The study. Then I reached the desk. One drawer was open.I pulled it out.Empty.My mother’s old documents were gone. Her property papers. Her insurance records. And one small leather notebook.I had never seen it before.I stood there staring at the empty drawer. Then my phone rang.It was Rose. For several seconds, I simply watched her name flashing across the screen. She had never called me this early before.I answered.“Hello?”Her voice sounded strangely calm.“Hey.”I said nothing.“I heard you went to the lake house yesterday.”My heart stopped.“Who told you?”She laughed softly.“Nobody had to.”I looked around the empty room.“What do you want, Rose?”There was a pause. Then she said:“I think we need to talk.”“About what?”Another pause.“The house.”I clenched my jaw.“What about it?”“I think you should stop looking for things that aren’t yours.”I went completely still.“What did you say?”Rose sighed.“Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.”My mother’s house suddenly felt cold.I whispered:“What did you take?”She didn’t answer.Instead, she said:“You always thought Mom left that house to you because she loved you more.”I felt my stomach drop.Rose continued.“But that’s not the whole story.”I couldn’t speak. She hung up.I stood alone in the room, listening to the silence. Then I noticed something. On the desk.Beneath the empty drawer.A tiny piece of paper had been folded and pushed into a crack.I pulled it out.It was my mother’s handwriting.Only six words.“If Rose ever comes here, leave.”I read it again. And again. Then I noticed there was something written on the back.A date. And underneath it…A name I hadn’t seen in years. My mother’s former attorney.I immediately called the number I found in her old contacts. The attorney answered on the third ring. When I told him my mother’s name, his voice became quiet.“Are you at the lake house?”“Yes.”“Then listen to me carefully.”My grip tightened around the phone.“Why?”“Because if Rose has been inside that house…”He stopped.“She may already know.”“Know what?”There was another long silence. Then he said:“Your mother left you something.”I swallowed.“What?”“Not the house.”My heart began pounding.“Then what?”His answer changed everything.“She left you the truth.”If you want, I can continue with Part 3, making the mystery around the letter, Rose’s secret, and your mother’s final plan much deeper while keeping the revenge/consequences reveal gradual.Absolutely — here is Part 3 as the ending, with the mystery resolved, the emotional payoff centered on your mother’s memory, and Rose finally facing consequences.Writing Part 3 — The Truth My Mother Left BehindFor several seconds, I couldn’t speak.“The truth about what?”The attorney sighed.“Your mother specifically instructed me not to tell you anything unless you came to me yourself.”“Why?”“Because she knew you wouldn’t believe it while she was alive.”I sat down at the desk.My hands were cold.“What did she know?”“About Rose.”My heart sank.“Tell me everything.”He was silent for a moment. Then he said, “Your mother discovered that Rose had been taking things from the lake house for years.”I closed my eyes. The missing dishes. The old decorations. The small things I’d assumed Mom had given away.It suddenly made sense.“But why didn’t she tell me?”“She didn’t want another family war. She hoped Rose would stop.”I almost laughed.“She never stops.”“No,” he said quietly. “Your mother eventually realized that.”He told me about a sealed document my mother had prepared shortly before her death. It wasn’t a second will.It wasn’t about money. It was a detailed record of everything she owned in the lake house, including photographs, receipts, and handwritten descriptions of sentimental items. But there was more.My mother had also written a private letter to me.The letter Rose had stolen. The attorney told me that my mother had anticipated someone might try to pressure me into selling or surrendering the property.“Your mother wanted you to understand that the house wasn’t simply an inheritance,” he said.“It was your safe place.”I covered my mouth. That sounded exactly like her. Then he told me something I hadn’t expected. The house had been placed into a trust.I was the sole beneficiary. And Rose had no legal right to enter it, use it, or remove anything from it.But that wasn’t the end.My mother had included one final instruction. If anyone entered the property without permission and damaged or removed anything, I was to document everything and contact the attorney immediately. No arguments. No family negotiations. No excuses. My mother knew exactly what kind of person Rose was.And suddenly, I understood why Mom had written those six words.“If Rose ever comes here, leave.”It wasn’t fear.It was advice.Don’t fight her.Don’t scream.Don’t let her drag you into her chaos.Walk away.Document everything. Then let consequences do the talking.I thanked the attorney and hung up.Then I opened the security footage again. This time, I watched every minute. There were recordings of Rose taking the envelope. There were recordings of her opening cabinets. There were recordings of guests breaking a lamp, spilling wine onto the rug, and carrying several of my mother’s belongings outside.I saved everything.I photographed every damaged item.I contacted the restoration company. Then I filed a formal police report. Not because I wanted Rose arrested.Because I wanted there to be a record. The next morning, Rose appeared at my house. She didn’t look guilty. She looked offended.“You seriously called the police?”I stared at her.“You stole my keys.”“I borrowed them.”“Without permission.”“You weren’t using the house.”“That doesn’t matter.”She rolled her eyes.“It’s just a house.”That sentence hurt more than anything else.“To you.”She folded her arms.“You’re being dramatic.”I looked at her quietly.“No, Rose. I’m finally being clear.”She scoffed.“Everyone thinks you’re becoming obsessed with that place since your mother died.”I felt tears gathering in my eyes. But I didn’t let them fall.“My mother died.”Rose went silent.“And that house is one of the last places where I can still feel close to her.”Her expression didn’t change.“So I won’t let you turn it into another place I have to grieve.”For the first time, Rose looked uncertain. Then she said:“Fine. I’ll pay for whatever you think I damaged.”“That’s not enough.”She frowned.“What else do you want?”“The things you took.”“I didn’t take anything.”I looked at her.She looked away.I placed printed photographs on the table. The envelope. The drawers. The missing items. The security footage timestamps. Her face slowly changed.“You recorded me?”“The property has security cameras.”“You can’t use that!”“I already did.”She stood up.“You went through my things?”“No.”I looked directly into her eyes.“I didn’t have to.”She said nothing. Then I asked:“Where is my mother’s letter?”Her lips tightened.“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”I slid another photograph across the table. It showed Rose putting the envelope into her bag.Her face went pale. For several seconds, neither of us spoke. Finally, she whispered:“I didn’t read it.”“Where is it?”She looked down.“I threw it away.”My heart broke.“You what?”“I was angry!”“Why?”She didn’t answer. Then she began crying. But this time, I didn’t comfort her.She admitted that she had found out about the trust. She had also discovered that she would receive nothing from the property. She had convinced herself that my mother had treated her unfairly. So she decided that if she couldn’t have the lake house, she would at least make me miserable enough to sell it.The party had been deliberate. The destruction had been deliberate. The stolen letter had been deliberate. But she had made one mistake. She had assumed I would protect the family’s peace at any cost. She was wrong.I told her she was no longer welcome at the lake house or in our home without an explicit invitation. The damaged property was assessed.Rose was responsible for the costs. Her parents were furious. My husband stood beside me through all of it.For once, nobody asked me to forgive her immediately.Nobody told me to keep the peace. And slowly, the house began to heal. The stained rug was restored. The broken lamp was repaired. The scratched table was refinished. The pillows my mother had sewn were professionally cleaned. One afternoon, I carried them back into the living room myself.I placed them exactly where Mom had always kept them. Then I opened the windows. The lake breeze moved through the curtains. For the first time since the party, the house felt like itself again.I sat on the couch and held one of Mother’s pillows against my chest.I cried. Not because Rose had won.She hadn’t.I cried because my mother was gone. And because I finally understood something she had tried to teach me long before she died.Keeping peace doesn’t mean allowing people to hurt you.Family doesn’t give someone permission to cross every boundary. And forgiveness doesn’t require giving someone another opportunity to destroy what you love.A week later, the attorney delivered a replacement copy of my mother’s letter.Apparently, Mom had kept one with him.I opened it alone. There were only a few pages. She wrote about the garden. The lake. The house. And me.At the very end, she wrote:“If someone ever makes you feel guilty for protecting what I left you, remember this: you are not protecting a building. You are protecting the memories we made there.”I couldn’t stop crying. Then I read the final line.“And sweetheart, never confuse being kind with being weak.”I folded the letter carefully.Outside, the flowers she had planted were beginning to bloom again.I stepped onto the porch. The lake was perfectly still. For the first time in months, I felt peaceful.Rose had wanted to teach me that she could take whatever she wanted.Instead, she learned something else. Some boundaries are not invitations to negotiate. Some memories are not hers to destroy. And some lessons…are learned only when consequences finally arrive.

Dolly Parton's Niece Reveals Heartfelt Memories That Made Headlines New

Dolly Parton's Niece Reveals Heartfelt Memories That Made Headlines

Dolly Parton’s niece Lainey Parton is reflecting on their relationship after confirming the country music icon was laid to rest following her death at 80. “This is a really hard post for me to make. I wanted to wait until after my granny was laid to rest yesterday before I tried to put any of this into words,” Lainey wrote via Instagram on Saturday, August 29, revealing her aunt was buried a day prior. “From the time I was little, my granny always had a way of making me feel like I was enough. She never made my dreams feel too big or made me feel like I couldn’t do something. She believed in me before I even knew how to believe in myself. She continued, “Most people can think of at least one bad memory with everyone in their family. I honestly can’t think of one with her. Because she couldn’t have kids of her own, she always made us feel like we were hers. She loved us that way, and I’ll forever be grateful for that.” After recalling a moment when Dolly asked her to sing on the Smoky Mountain DNA: Family, Faith and Fables album, Lainey shared that the singer “continued to believe in me.” “When I told her I wanted to go to beauty school, she never questioned why I wasn’t going to college. She told me she couldn’t see me doing anything else,” Lainey said. “She financially supported me through school and helped me get my career started. She didn’t just tell me to chase my dreams, she helped me get there.” She continued, “I’m so thankful I said yes to the opportunities and memories I got to share with her as my Aunt Dolly, including being in a movie with her. I’m so glad I have those moments to look back on now. I have things I can watch, hear, and hold onto when I miss her.” Lainey shared that it “doesn’t feel real” that Dolly died, sharing that she will miss the singer’s voice, laugh, hugs and “just knowing she was there.” “I’m even going to miss those 4 AM calls, and I’d give anything to see her name pop up on my phone again,” Lainey wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent messages, flowers to my house, or done any of the little things to show me love. I’ve noticed every single one, and they’ve meant more than you know.” Lainey concluded, “I feel incredibly lucky that I got to call her my granny. Thank you for always believing in me, loving me, and making me feel like I could do anything. I love you, Granny. Always. .” News broke on Tuesday, August 25, that Dolly died after a brief battle with an undisclosed form of cancer. At the time, Dolly’s rep shared that the family asked for donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in lieu of flowers. “Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee,” read a statement from her rep. “A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth and kindness that made us all feel like family.” The statement continued, “Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her songs will continue to resonate with people of all ages, and her philanthropic work will have a lasting impact.” The singer was buried beside her beloved husband, Carl Dean, who died in 2025.

Roger Federer in Tears After Wife Mirka's Heartfelt Hall of Fame Speech New

Roger Federer in Tears After Wife Mirka's Heartfelt Hall of Fame Speech

Mirka Federer had her husband and tennis fans in a puddle of tears over the weekend.Tennis legend Roger Federer couldn’t hold back his emotions when his wife inducted him to the International Tennis Hall of Fame ahead of his induction on Saturday in Newport, R.I.Despite his 20 Grand Slam titles and endless accomplishments, Mirka steered clear of talking about what was done on the court. Rather, she gave everyone detailed insight to who the 45-year-old is off the court.Mirka Federer, the wife of tennis great Roger Federer, inducts him into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Newport, RI. USA TODAY Network via Reuters ConnectMirka mentioned the couple met during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games when she was a junior tennis star, meeting Federer as the “older woman” at 21 years old while he was 18. “When we met, he had exactly zero ATP titles. Zero,” she said. “Looking back, I suppose I was there for all 103 that followed. We shared quite the journey.”She went on to detail the moment the couple found out they were expecting twins for the first time — a time when she expected her travel days were over.“Without missing a beat, he said, ‘I won’t play anymore,'” Mirka said. “He wasn’t being remanded. He meant it. That’s who Roger is. His family comes first.”Federer could often be seen wiping tears from his eyes throughout the near eight-minute speech. “Fortunately, we found another solution, and that solution involved babies, strollers, toys, books, and eventually two sets of twins traveling all over the world with us,” Mirka went on. “The tennis tour has always been our home. Our children Myla, Charlene, Leo, and Lenny know him as Papa. The Papa who read bedtime stories, played games with them, who ran their bath, who made them laugh, no matter how busy he was. Whether he won or lost, he always made time for them.Inductee Roger Federer takes his seat during the International Tennis Hall of Fame 2026 Induction Ceremony on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Newport, Rhode Island. His sister knows him as a wonderful brother. And his friends know him as someone who always has time for them, no matter how busy his life becomes.’At the conclusion of her speech, Federer stood up and his parents could be seen wiping away tears as well.He then took the stage and hugged and kissed Mirka before accepting the trophy commemorating his induction. The Swiss star became eligible for the honor this year, coming four years after his retirement in 2022.Mirka Federer kisses husband Roger’s cheek during the International Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Newport, Rhode Island. BACKGRIDHe went on to thank Mirka in his speech and the tears came down then as well. He joked he needed “tissues and sunglasses.” “I need everything to protect me,” Federer said. “Oh God. Oh my God. I’m going to do the Mirka bit. This is such a mess.“As you know, Mirka is my wife, which is the greatest understatement I can make,’” he began. “She’s also been my coach, my hitting partner before matches, and my reality check, also my stylist. I definitely needed one at the time.“Mirka is the person who showed me how to get more focused about tennis and take joy in everything else. A wonderful mother to our four kids. She and I grab each other’s hands and we run through walls. So she’s all of these things, and that’s my Hall of Fame.”Prior to his induction, Federer was in the spotlight during the U.S. Open’s Fan Week where he played an exhibition match against Andy Roddick in Arthur Ashe Stadium. The two also had some doubles fun with Andre Agassi and John McEnroe.

Kelsey Owens' Joyful Rainbow Baby Arrival After Heartbreaking Loss New

Kelsey Owens' Joyful Rainbow Baby Arrival After Heartbreaking Loss

Siesta Key alum Kelsey Owens and her husband, Max Strong, welcomed their rainbow baby on Wednesday, August 26, after the couple previously navigated a 2025 pregnancy loss. "Our lives were changed forever. Words can’t begin to express the kind of love our hearts feel getting to call ourselves your parents," Kelsey, 29, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 30, announcing their daughter's arrival and revealing her name: Blaine Grace. "We love you more than you’ll ever know sweet girl, and we’ll spend every day for the rest of our lives showing you just how loved you are." Kelsey and Max announced in February that the couple were expecting a baby. “The best parts of both of us… in one tiny heartbeat ,” they wrote via Instagram at the time. The next month, the couple found out that they were expecting a baby girl. “I’ve always been someone who wants to hang onto moments, so when it came to your gender reveal I knew I wanted more than just the countdown and smoke cannons,” Kelsey wrote in a Instagram letter to her unborn child in March. “I wanted something I could carry with me forever. Something that would always remind me of the moment we found out who you are.” She continued at the time, “In our backyard, at the house we spent over a year turning into a home, the place where we’ll bring you home, fill with laughter and memories, surrounded by your aunt, uncles, and grandparents we discovered you’re our beautiful baby girl . … I’ve dreamt of having a little girl my whole life! Bows in your messy hair, dance parties in the kitchen, inside jokes only we’ll understand, and teaming up to drive your daddy crazy.” Kelsey and Max got married in 2024 after four years of dating. The couple announced the next year that the reality TV alum had suffered a miscarriage. “This past week was a really bad one. Max and I have been trying to get pregnant, and we were blessed to find out in August that we were pregnant,” Kelsey began in a September 2025 social media video. “I did find out yesterday [that] I miscarried. I just want to say that any woman who has gone through this, I am sending so much love. You are not alone. This can feel so lonely ‘cause we’re told not to share about this [until you are 12 weeks along]. No matter what, this baby’s a part of my story.” At the time, Kelsey broke down in tears while revealing it was “the first time” she had been pregnant. “It will always be so special to me, and I’m just praying for anyone else going through it that you guys will have healthy beautiful babies one day — and that will be the same for me,” she tearfully added. “Please keep me in your prayers, and I’ll be praying so much for all the other women going through it.”

Harry Styles' Cheeky MSG Comment Sparks Buzz About Taylor Swift's Wedding New

Harry Styles' Cheeky MSG Comment Sparks Buzz About Taylor Swift's Wedding

Harry Styles made a playful reference to his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s recent wedding during his latest Madison Square Garden residency show. “New York City — The Big Apple! The city that never sleeps,” Styles, 32, said while interacting with fans on Saturday, August 29, before teasing, “Madison Square Garden… home of the world champion New York Knicks and they also do weddings!” His joke drew a huge response from the jam-packed crowd, which clearly seemed to delight the “American Girls” singer as he sported a cheeky grin. Swift and her Kansas City Chiefs star beau, both 36, were recently in the same venue for a very special moment as they tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 2. The newlyweds even used MSG’s digital marquee to confirm that they were “JusT&T Married” during the ceremony. Styles’ fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, was reportedly in attendance for her friend Swift’s wedding but the former One Direction star had to miss the ceremony because of his London concert residency commitments. (Styles had Together, Together concerts scheduled at Wembley Stadium on July 1 and July 3.) Styles and Kravitz, 37, seemingly have wedding bells in their future as he popped the question in April after eight months of dating. Lorel Diamonds jeweler Laura Taylor offered insight on Kravitz’s sparkling diamond engagement ring — which could be worth up to $600,000 — in an exclusive interview with Us in April. “Zoë’s engagement ring appears to feature an elongated cushion-cut diamond, weighing around 5 to 6 carats, set in yellow gold with a smooth bezel-style setting,” Taylor theorized. “It appears to be very similar in size to the ring she previously wore from Channing Tatum, but with a slightly softer and less elongated shape.” The jeweler added, “Despite being a similar size, the diamond appears noticeably brighter than her previous engagement ring, which can often be a sign of a very well-cut stone.” Meanwhile, Kelce broke his silence about exchanging vows with Swift at MSG during the Kansas City Chiefs training camp on August 12. “It was a fun offseason, man,” the athlete quipped. “Wedding was the best night of my life. I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.” As for the iconic venue, Kelce revealed, “MSG, man, I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking, and my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp. I didn’t get the opportunity to go then, so it’s kind of cool to get to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there.” “I can’t thank the owners of MSG [enough] for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing that we wanted a private event and everything,” Kelce added. “The A/C was cooking, baby. That was the best part.”

Why Six Flags' X2 Roller Coaster Is Under Fire After Tragic Injuries New

Why Six Flags' X2 Roller Coaster Is Under Fire After Tragic Injuries

Chilling images show two women unconscious and with shaved heads after receiving treatment for traumatic brain injuries they reportedly suffered on a roller coaster.Hawaii resident Pamela Guillen, 40, and 25-year-old Naomi Greer-Wilkinson from Los Angeles, took life-threatening rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, in July, a CNN investigation revealed. Both women were seen attached to tubes and in hospital gowns after undergoing serious procedures, which have been detailed to the broadcaster. They had ridden on the X2, the world's first fourth-dimension roller coaster. It is known for hitting speeds of nearly 80 miles an hour while flipping seats 360 degrees as it makes its way around the track. It is widely regarded as one of the most intense roller coasters in the world and there are only two more of its kind, in China and in Japan.Within a week in July, Guillen and Greer-Wilkinson suffered severe brain hemorrhages, sending them to emergency surgery after trying the ride, CNN revealed.Guillen, who was visiting the park with her family for her daughter's 16th birthday, reportedly struck her head against the headrest several times during the ride and lost consciousness after getting off.She told the broadcaster: 'It was seconds. You go in as yourself and when you come back you are a medical emergency.'Her daughter, Camille Marquez, added: 'We got off the cart and we saw my mom. She looked lifeless. Not a thought behind her eyes, nothing.'She had a brain bleed. My mom had a really bad brain bleed.'Pamela Guillen, 40, suffered severe brain hemorrhages after riding the X2 at Six Flags in Valencia, California. Her daughter, Camille Marquez, told CNN: 'We got off the cart and we saw my mom. She looked lifeless. Not a thought behind her eyes, nothing'Naomi Greer-Wilkinson, 25, collapsed after riding the X2 only six days after Guillen, according to reports. Doctors saved her life with emergency brain surgery but she remains in a comaThe X2 at Six Flags in Valencia, California, has been closed since July 12. Six Flags did not give a reason for the closure and the company has not released any statements on the investigationAfter an ambulance brought Guillen from Six Flags to the hospital, surgeons were able to save her life by removing part of her skull to relieve pressure, CNN reports. Guillen had to relearn how to walk and talk during her recovery around two weeks after.Guillen said that she still has 'headaches every day [and] fatigues after doing simple things.''Sometimes I just feel really down because I am not me anymore,' she told the broadcaster.Just six days after Guillen was escorted to the hospital from Six Flags, Greer-Wilkinson boarded the X2 and collapsed after the ride, with similarly serious consequences. Her father, Joshua Wilkinson, told CNN: 'The jarring had damaged part of her brain and it had begun to bleed.'Doctors were able to save her life with an emergency brain surgery. Her mother, Artemis Greer, said: 'I do remember one of the surgeons storming through the ER and yelling: "How many is it this month? They've got to shut that ride down!" He was furious.'Greer-Wilkinson remains in a coma and on a ventilator, CNN reported. Her mother insisted: 'Naomi should have never, ever in a million years, even had the option to get on that ride. It's absolutely insane.' Both doctors assume that the injuries were caused by the X2 in Guillen's as well as in Greer-Wilkinson's case.'In our professional opinion, the severe brain injuries requiring emergent neurosurgical attention were the result of a traumatic rapid acceleration-deceleration event experienced while on the X2 ride,' the doctors wrote in an email viewed by CNN.The ride has remained closed since July 12. Six Flags did not give a reason for the closure. The park also declined to answer questions from CNN, according to the broadcaster, including why the rollercoaster stayed open after the first injury. The Daily Mail has contacted Six Flags for comment. The X2 ride has been linked to more than a dozen reports of injuries and hospitalizations in the past two decades, according to medical reports seen by CNN.A 22-year-old college graduate, Christopher Hawley, died about ten hours after getting off the ride with his brother and cousin in 2022, the outlet said. A coroner's report found he suffered blunt head trauma during a 'park ride accident,' CNN reported.Christopher Hawley (center), 22, died after riding the X2 roller coaster at Six Flags Mountain Magic with his brother and cousin in 2022There are only three X2 roller coasters in the world. One in Valencia, California, one in China and another in JapanThe X2 speeds up to nearly 80 miles an hour while flipping rider seats 360 degrees around the trackHis father, William Hawley, told Fox 11 that a surgeon said the X2 'hit his head so hard that it had basically ruptured his brain.'Attorneys for Hawley's parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against park operator Magic Mountain LLC and replacement coaster train supplier S&S Worldwide Inc. Just this week, the Hawley family reached a settlement with Magic Mountain LLC and an accord with S&S, the terms of which remain undisclosed. In 2010, 28-year-old Hilda Farias also died after riding the roller coaster. Doctors believed an existing brain abnormality ruptured because of the ride's intensity. Her family later settled a lawsuit for an undisclosed amount.
