Redakcija Nove odbila saradnju sa Stjepanovićem do završetka izbora New

Sve smo to videli, pratili i objavljivali tokom izbornih ciklusa u prethodnih šest godina koliko postojimo.

9 Everyday Signs Your Mental Load Is Quietly Taking Over New

9 Everyday Signs Your Mental Load Is Quietly Taking Over

1. Small decisions suddenly feel strangely exhaustingChoosing what to cook, wear or answer first should be manageable, yet every option feels like another demand. This can happen when your mind is already holding too many unfinished tasks and unresolved concerns.Reduce unnecessary choices for a while. Repeat easy meals, prepare clothes the night before or choose three priorities each morning. Simplifying is not failure; it creates breathing room for decisions that genuinely need your attention.2. You keep forgetting ordinary everyday detailsYou walk into a room and forget why, miss an appointment or reread the same message without absorbing it. Occasional forgetfulness is normal, but it often becomes more noticeable when attention is divided across too many responsibilities.Instead of relying on memory alone, create one trusted place for reminders. A single notebook or phone list is more useful than scattered notes. The goal is not perfect organisation; it is giving your mind fewer things to carry.3. Rest leaves you feeling guilty instead of restoredYou finally sit down, but your thoughts immediately produce a list of everything you should be doing. Physically, you have stopped. Mentally, you are still working, monitoring and judging yourself.Try giving rest a clear boundary: twenty minutes without chores, messages or planning. When guilt appears, notice it without obeying it. Rest does not have to be earned by reaching complete exhaustion. It supports your ability to return to life with more patience and perspective.4. Minor interruptions trigger surprisingly strong irritationA slow website, a simple question or a misplaced object can provoke more anger than the situation seems to deserve. The interruption may not be the real problem; it may simply be the final demand landing on an already crowded mind. Before reacting, create a brief pause. Unclench your jaw, lower your shoulders and name what is actually overwhelming you. Recognising the larger pressure helps you respond to the present moment rather than releasing accumulated frustration onto someone nearby.5. You procrastinate even on tasks you valueProcrastination is not always indifference. Sometimes a meaningful task feels impossible because it contains too many hidden decisions: where to begin, how well to do it and what might happen if you fail.Shrink the starting point until it feels almost unimportant. Open the document, write one sentence or spend five minutes gathering materials. A smaller entry point reduces the emotional weight of beginning. Momentum often arrives after action, not before it.6. Your free time disappears into numb scrollingYou reach for your phone intending to relax, then look up much later feeling neither entertained nor rested. Endless scrolling can offer temporary escape because it asks almost nothing from you, but it may also prevent the deeper recovery you needed. Before opening an app, ask what you want: distraction, connection or rest. That answer can guide a better choice, such as messaging a friend, watching one planned episode or spending ten quiet minutes away from stimulation.7. You avoid messages from people you care aboutA thoughtful message arrives, and instead of feeling connected, you feel another obligation. You postpone replying because you want to respond properly, then the growing delay adds guilt and makes the task feel even heavier.Connection does not always require a polished answer. A brief message such as “I saw this and care; I will reply when I have more space” can protect the relationship without pretending you have unlimited energy. Honest communication is often kinder than silent perfectionism.8. Your inner voice becomes harsher under pressureWhen your capacity is stretched, ordinary mistakes can trigger severe self-criticism: “I am useless,” “I ruin everything” or “I should handle this better.” These statements turn a difficult moment into a verdict about your character.Replace the verdict with a precise description. Instead of “I am failing,” try “I missed one deadline while managing several demands.” Accuracy is not making excuses. It separates what happened from who you are, making it easier to repair the problem without crushing yourself.9. You cannot identify what you actually needAfter spending days responding to other people, deadlines and practical demands, even the question “What would help?” can feel impossible to answer. Your own signals may have been pushed aside for so long that they become difficult to hear.Begin with the body and the next hour. Are you hungry, tense, lonely, overstimulated or tired? Choose one small response rather than solving your entire life. If overwhelm persists or disrupts daily functioning, consider speaking with a qualified mental health professional.

Inquest rules three sisters found off Brighton died by suicide

Updated 12:09 8 Oct 2026 GMT+1Published 11:56 8 Oct 2026 GMT+1breakingJane Adetoro, Christina Walter and Rebecca Walter were all pulled from the sea after visiting the lake where their mum diedWarning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing. The bodies of three sisters who were pulled from the sea in Brighton had taken their own lives, an inquest has heard.Sussex Police identified the women as sisters Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walter, 32, and Rebecca Walter, 31, after their bodies were pulled from the water near Madeira Drive on 13 May.An inquest has heard how the day before, they had visited the lake where their mother had died in Birmingham years earlier.AdvertThe body of Janice Adetoro, the mother of the three victims, was recovered from a lake in 2010.They arrived at Linton Walk, Birmingham, near to Brookvale Park Lake, at 11.36pm on May 11 and were picked up to return to the flat they lived in together in Greenford, west London, at 1.28am on May 12.Police at the scene (Charlotte Coney/Getty Images)On the evening of May 12, they took a pre-booked taxi to Brighton and arrived near the seafront at 10.21pm. They are thought to have last been seen alive on CCTV from the beach at 2.42am on May 13.Sussex Police said there was no evidence to suggest criminality or that anyone else was involved. After the incident, detectives said they were working to gather the full facts and circumstances around their deaths, with hundreds of hours of CCTV footage being reviewed and inquiries made to establishments around the beach area.Ms Adetoro had been brought to shore by an RNLI crew and declared dead at the scene on the morning of May 13, the inquest was told.Christina Walters was recovered from the sea by an RNLI lifeboat, and Rebecca Walters was washed on to the shore of Brighton beach. They were also pronounced dead that morning by paramedics, as the entire beach was closed off by emergency crews for investigations to take place.Sussex Police previously said there was 'no evidence' the women came to harm by any individuals. The area was cordoned off after the discovery (Charlotte Coney/Getty Images)"Based on all of the evidence currently available, our investigation has concluded that all three entered the water near to where their bodies were found, and sadly died," a statement read.Their father Joseph earlier this year issued a heartbreaking tribute in which he said their 'lives ended tragically far too soon' and that they would be 'forever loved, forever missed and forever remembered'.Concluding the inquest into their deaths, senior coroner Penelope Schofield told the court on Thursday (8 October): “On May 13, in hours of darkness, they entered the sea at Brighton, they could not swim and sea conditions were adverse.”She concluded the medical cause of death for all three women was drowning and that they died by suicide. The sisters all drowned (Charlotte Coney/Getty Images)Chief Superintendent Adam Hays, of Sussex Police previously said: “Our priority throughout has been uncovering the truth for the loved ones of Jane, Rebecca and Christina, because at this incident’s core there has always been a grieving family coming to terms with an unthinkable tragedy and loss.“Jane, Rebecca and Christina’s tragic deaths sparked a national outpouring of grief, and I would like to thank everyone who supported our investigation by coming forward with information."If you’ve been affected by any of these issues and want to speak to someone in confidence, please don’t suffer alone. Brandon McGirl’s 1,116-Pound Tuna Shatters New Hampshire Record by Over 150 Pounds New

Brandon McGirl’s 1,116-Pound Tuna Shatters New Hampshire Record by Over 150 Pounds

See more of our coverage in your search results. A New Hampshire fisherman caught the state’s largest bluefin tuna weighing over 1,100 pounds — smashing a record that had stood for more than a decade.Brandon McGirl was hoping to reel in anything when he boarded the Out of Line, a Savage Charters NH boat captained by Jamie Savage, on Saturday for an overnight fishing trip out of Rye Harbor on the New Hampshire Seacoast, WMUR reported.“It was very difficult conditions to try and fish. It was a little bit rougher than we were hoping for,” McGirl told the outlet.Brandon McGirl and Captain Jamie Savage of Savage Charters NH landed a 1,116-pound bluefin tuna in New Hampshire, smashing the state record. ABC/WHAS11After hours on the open water — with almost nothing to show for their effort — the crew was gearing up to call it a night when, out of nowhere, McGirl’s reel began clicking.“They never come when you expect them to come,” McGirl said. The crew chased the fish for about a mile before finally getting it alongside the boat during the grueling struggle. With no way to get it on deck, they towed the fish back toward the harbor, where they lifted the beast from the water.“We lifted it out of the water and immediately knew it was way bigger than what we thought and bigger than anything either of us had seen before,” Savage said. The catch turned out to be a monster bluefin tuna that tipped the scales at 1,116 pounds — more than 150 pounds heavier than the previous New Hampshire record, set in 2013, the outlet reported. The men chased the fish for about a mile before finally getting it alongside the boat during the grueling struggle. ABC/WHAS11McGirl could barely believe what they had reeled in.“If you tuna fish for long time, to catch a 1,000-pound fish, is, I mean, it’s something that you dream of,” he told the outlet.A photo of the catch shows the tuna nearly as long as both men are tall, so big it barely fits in the boat. The record-breaking catch even drew congratulations from Gov. Kelly Ayotte the next day.“Now THAT is a catch,” Ayotte wrote on Facebook, sharing a link to WMUR’s report. The catch turned out to be a monster bluefin tuna that tipped the scales at 1,116 pounds — more than 150 pounds heavier than the previous New Hampshire record, set in 2013. Facebook/Bikes & BitesWhile the meat of the fish will be sold, the tuna’s tail will stay behind at the harbor, a souvenir of the record-setting day. ABC/WHAS11The catch also came close to a national mark. The largest bluefin tuna on record in US waters weighed 1,142 pounds, 12 ounces, and was caught off Block Island, Rhode Island, by J. Dempsey in September 1981 — about 27 pounds more than McGirl’s fish, according to On The Water. The tuna will be sold and could be shipped as far as Japan, but its tail will stay behind at the harbor, a souvenir of the record-setting day, WMUR reported.McGirl told Foster’s Daily Democrat that he’ll be paid by check later and doesn’t yet know what the fish will fetch. The record comes after fishermen in San Diego caught a nearly 500-pound bluefin tuna last month — and the largest bluefin ever caught on rod and reelThe beast weighed 446 pounds — with an estimated weight of 500 pounds whole.

Published 12:25 8 Oct 2026 GMT+1Olivier Martinez accused his ex-wife of being violent toward their 13-year-old sonHalle Berry's 18-year-old daughter has defended her 'loving and devoted' mom following claims made by her ex-husband that she was violent toward their 13-year-old son, Maceo.Berry's eldest child, Nahla Aubry, has spoken out following child abuse allegations against the actress, concerning her younger brother. On October 1, the star's ex-husband Olivier Martinez made numerous allegations that she had been 'violent' towards 13-year-old, Maceo, who he then filed for sole custody of.He alleged that Berry had been 'physically abusive' to the young boy, claims the actress vehemently denies. Instead, the mom-of-two claimed that she had been a victim of domestic violence herself, and has strongly denied her ex-husband's claims.A 'devoted and loving parent' who has 'always made time for her children'During a Los Angeles Superior Court declaration on October 3, Nahla - who Berry shares with her ex, fashion model Gabriel Aubry - said: "I never observed anything abusive about her parenting. Brighton Sisters’ Final Journey Revealed as Coroner Rules on Deaths New

Brighton Sisters’ Final Journey Revealed as Coroner Rules on Deaths

Family handout photo issued by Sussex Police of sisters with their father Joseph, (left to right) Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32 and Rebecca Walters, 31 (Picture: Family Handout/PA) Three sisters who drowned in the sea near Brighton beach died in a suicide pact a day after visiting the lake where their mother took her own life, a coroner has ruled. Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, from west London, were pulled from the water off the Sussex coast early on May 13. The siblings, described as ‘inseparable’ after their tragic deaths, never got over the loss of their mother, relatives said. All three had taken a taxi from their home in west London to the Birmingham street where their mother lived on May 11. They arrived at Linton Walk, near to Brookvale Park Lake, at 11.36pm and were picked up to return to the flat they lived in together in Greenford at 1.28am on May 12. Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cullimore told their inquest at Woodvale Coroner’s Court in Brighton that there was no CCTV to see what the women had been doing in the time they were in Birmingham. On the evening of May 12, they took a pre-booked taxi to Brighton and arrived near the seafront at 10.21pm. They are thought to have last been seen alive on CCTV from the beach at 2.42am on May 13. Ms Adetoro was brought to shore by an RNLI crew and declared dead at the scene on the morning of May 13, the inquest heard. Christina Walters was recovered from the sea by an RNLI lifeboat, and Rebecca Walters was washed on to the shore of Brighton beach. They were also declared dead that morning by paramedics. The extensive emergency response to the incident (Picture: PA) Concluding the inquest into their deaths, senior coroner Penelope Schofield told the court on Thursday: ‘On May 13, in hours of darkness, they entered the sea at Brighton, they could not swim and sea conditions were adverse.’ A post-mortem found all three women had drowned and cited no evidence of any drugs or alcohol in their bodies, and no evidence to suggest they had been subject to violence. The coroner concluded that the three sisters intended to end their lives. ‘These three sisters lived very secluded lives, they were incredibly private, we don’t know why they took this course of action or indeed why they chose to do it in Brighton,’ Ms Schofield told the court. ‘It is not for the court to speculate and sadly these reasons may never be known.’ The inquest heard Christina Walters suffered from anxiety and depression since her mother’s death, but Ms Adetoro was not registered with a doctor, and Rebecca Walters’ records had nothing of note, Mr Cullimore said. Speaking to reporters after the sisters’ deaths, their aunt Ajike Johnson revealed they never got over the trauma of their mother’s death. Their mum, Janice Adetoro, suffered with mental health issues and walked into a park lake close to her home at the time in the West Midlands. The sisters’ aunt Ajike Johnson – or Aunt Jik as her nieces called her – told the Daily Mail the tragedy ‘traumatised the girls’, adding: ‘They never recovered.’ Their cousin, Natalie Walters-Daniel, also said there was a ‘deeper meaning’ behind the sisters’ journey to Birmingham. She told the Sunday Times that her cousins were 20, 16, and 15 when their mum died. ‘To lose their mum at the ages that they were, it was the crucial stages of growing up and becoming young women,’ she said. ‘The years where a mother’s presence and guidance and reassurance and love should be, they didn’t receive that. ‘And for them to come to Birmingham, to take that moment that they did within the lake and also to see their mother, I think that there is definitely a connection there.’ Need support?
