Taylor Swift's Wedding Snub: Why Blake Lively Isn't Invited New

Taylor Swift's Wedding Snub: Why Blake Lively Isn't Invited

As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding day approaches, multiple sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that Swift’s once-close friend Blake Lively did not receive an invitation to the pair’s nuptials. “Blake understands why she wouldn't be invited and that it would be a media frenzy,” an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly. “She also understands that she and Taylor don't have the same level of friendship they once had. She isn't upset about not being invited, but of course, she would love to be there to support her and Travis.” Swift, 36, and Lively, 38, experienced a falling out after the pop star’s name was dragged into the contentious legal battle between the actress and her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni. Lively and Baldoni, 42, reached a settlement out of court earlier this month, bringing their 18-month legal drama to an end. The insider adds that Lively is “at peace” with how things “played out” between her and Swift, noting that the Gossip Girl alum has “put that chapter behind her.” Still, the friends are taking space from each other. “They haven't been in touch in several months, and their last correspondence was only a few casual texts back and forth,” the insider concludes. “That is the extent of their friendship.” Us Weekly reached out to reps for Lively and Swift for comment. During Lively’s battle with Baldoni, which began in December 2024 when the A Simple Favor star filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against the Five Feet Apart director, personal text messages between Lively and Swift were made public. A source previously told Us that the situation was “really hard” for Swift. “Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore,” the source shared. “That doesn’t sit well with her.” Lively’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley said in January that the actress has “done everything she can to protect her friends from not being brought into this.” “It was the Baldoni parties who brought that evidence into this case. It’s not relevant. What’s relevant is her claims that she was sexually harassed in the workplace and the witnesses are there to see that,” he said at the time. (Baldoni denied the sexual harassment allegations and filed a countersuit against Lively, which was dismissed in 2025.) Now, Swift is preparing to say “I do” to Kelce, 36, whom she began dating in summer 2023. The pair got engaged last August. While the exact location and date of the wedding have yet to be confirmed, Swift and her NFL star fiancé are rumored to be set to tie the knot during the upcoming July 4 holiday weekend. One popular theory suggests that the couple will wed at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Mayor Zohran Mamdani fueled the speculation during a June 15 press conference. “I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD, as well as our state partners, in delivering that safe experience,” he told reporters. “We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for the [World Cup]. We know it coincides with the Knicks’ [NBA] Finals run. We know it coincides with July 4, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding — all happening at the same time — and we are so excited to welcome the world here.”

Claudia Lemieux-Bishop's Heartfelt Tribute to Late Father Claude Lemieux

Claudia Lemieux-Bishop, the daughter of late NHL star Claude Lemieux, shared an impactful picture from the day of her father’s burial.  “Buried dad in the mountains,” Claudia shared via her Instagram Story on Monday, June 22, alongside a photo of herself, her brother Brendan and his son, Luc, who was born in March 2025, walking together in a wooded area.  Claude died by suicide on May 28. His body was found by one of his three sons at a furniture warehouse owned by the family in Florida. He was 60.  According to his death certificate, Claude’s body was initially taken to a Stuart, Florida, funeral home before it was transferred to Henson Chapel Cemetery in Vilas, North Carolina. In addition to Claudia, 28, and Brendan, 30, Claude is survived by his wife, Deborah, and sons Christopher and Michael.  Claude’s burial came just days after Claudia wrote a poignant message about the loss of her father on social media. “Almost three weeks without you,” she shared via Instagram on June 16. “I still don’t have the words. It doesn’t feel real. I would give anything to have the chance to go back and tell you how much I love you. I miss you. Forever and always your only girl.” Claudia initially broke her silence about the death of her father shortly after his body was found.  “No words to express the level of devastation we feel,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on May 28. “I love you forever daddy." Two days later, the entire Lemieux story issued a statement about Claude’s death, calling him “a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and teammate.” "To the hockey world, he was one of the game’s most unforgettable competitors: a four-time Stanley Cup champion, a Conn Smythe Trophy winner, and one of the great playoff performers of all time,” the family said on May 30. “To his family, he was more than a hero: he was loyal, loving, funny, protective, and generous. He was stubborn, and he was completely devoted to the people he loved. He was adored by his family in turn.” The statement continued, “Claude was a passionate man. He brought that passion to the rink, to his work, to his friendships, and most of all to his family. He was fierce on the ice because he cared so deeply about winning, about his teammates, and about never giving less than everything he had. Away from the game, he was tender, loyal and full of life. He made us laugh, he showed up for us, and he loved his children and grandchildren with his whole heart.”

Joe Manganiello's Near-Death Journey Unveiled: The Truth Behind His Memoir New

Joe Manganiello's Near-Death Journey Unveiled: The Truth Behind His Memoir

Joe Manganiello’s debut memoir, Bloodlines, is set to detail his seven-year battle with a previous undisclosed illness. “It was the most brutally difficult time of my life, one I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, but also my greatest adventure," Manganiello, 49, told People on Tuesday, June 23. “I hope that what I went through on this journey can give readers hope that answers and healing may lie for them on the other side of whatever they are fighting through.” The True Blood star noted that the book gave him “the gift of perspective” which allowed him to see “my suffering was a cocoon from which I would emerge forever changed.” The book, set to be released on October 13, is described as a “gripping memoir” detailing Manganiello’s “multiple near-death experiences and medical crises.” The ordeal “led him beyond medicine and into a remarkable, globe-spanning quest that revealed answers about his ancestry, inherited trauma, and the deeper histories we carry,” per the book’s official description. According to publisher Simon & Schuster, Manganiello’s “body began to fail him” without any warning. The actor experienced “a cascade of autoimmune-related illnesses,” which led to a years-long battle in which he experienced chronic pain. Throughout “a prolonged fight for survival,” doctors had “few answers and no clear explanation.” The book description reveals that Manganiello had “a life-saving organ amputation” throughout his health battle. However, further details were not disclosed. After attempting traditional medical practices, Manganiello eventually went on a more “unorthodox path,” seeking help from shamans, pagan rituals, ancient myths and long lost family records, which led to the “rebirth of his own spirituality.” The Magic Mike alum’s search “led him deep into his own bloodline: to a survivor of the Armenian genocide, to ancestors shaped by violence and displacement, and the hidden patterns shared by others living with chronic illness,” the description continues. Bloodlines is “more than a memoir of a medical crisis,” the synopsis explained. It is a searching account of what happens when the life you have constructed can no longer contain the truth of what you carry.” Manganiello will explore “illness, inheritance, masculinity, faith, ambition, and the identities we build to endure,” in the book. “Bloodlines considers how the past lives on in the body and in the stories we tell about strength, survival, and selfhood,” the synopsis concluded. “The result is both a page-turning, heart-pounding story for the ages and an essential meditation on inheritance, loss, and the work of living with what remains.” Bloodlines is set to be released on Tuesday, October 13.

Tucker Carlson Sparks Reactions After Ditching the Republican Party New

Tucker Carlson Sparks Reactions After Ditching the Republican Party

Daily Caller co-founder and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said he’s “done” with the Republican Party ahead of the November 2026 midterm elections on a June 18 episode of the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast.Carlson said “there’s no chance I would support the Republican Party” during the same podcast episode. Despite breaking with the GOP, Carlson indicated he would not be supporting the Democratic Party, either.“Not gonna support the Democratic Party. I don’t know what I’m going to do. But at this point, you know, how could you support – how could I or any American voter support – a political party that’s not loyal to the United States? That puts the interest of a foreign country above those of its own citizens?”“So no, I’m out. And if I’m out, then I think a lot of other people are out,” he said. (RELATED: Tucker Carlson, Piers Morgan Punch Back At Ben Shapiro Over Israel Feud)Carlson, who described himself as a “consistent defender” of the Republican Party for 35 years, accused the GOP of going in the “wrong direction.”“They are making decisions on the basis of other criteria, what’s best for this company, what’s best for Israel, what’s best for our donors. They are off in the wrong direction, like, that is unacceptable, that’s treasonous, it’s immoral, it can’t continue,” he added.Carlson, who was fired from Fox News in 2023, has voiced opposition to Operation Epic Fury and the U.S.’s war with Iran.During a previous episode of his podcast, Carlson claimed Trump was “overselling this [the U.S.’s war with Iran] like an all-you-can-eat buffet in Atlantic City,” The Hill reported June 12. Similarly, back in April, Carlson took a swipe at Fox News host Mark Levin over his apparent comments suggesting those who criticize Israel are espousing violence.Former Republican Georgia Rep. Jelly Roll's Ex Felicia Beckwith Sparks Attention After Guilty Plea New

Jelly Roll's Ex Felicia Beckwith Sparks Attention After Guilty Plea

Jelly Roll’s ex-girlfriend Felicia Beckwith has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge following her 2025 drug arrest, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm. Washington County court records confirm that Beckwith pleaded guilty to possession of less than 0.5 grams of fentanyl, which classified as a schedule II drug, on June 18. All other charges were dropped. Us can also confirm via the Washington County court clerk that Beckwith was given a sentence of three years supervised probation. Beckwith, who is the mother of Jelly Roll’s 18-year-old daughter, Bailee, was arrested in February 2025 alongside two additional individuals in possession of drugs, guns and cash. According to a March 2025 press release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Tennessee, deputies initiated a traffic stop for Beckwith, 37, and the other individuals. Law enforcement found a pistol in the driver's door, drug paraphernalia and cash on the others’ persons. There was a total of 52 grams of Methamphetamine, pills and 12 grams of a white powder substance, which authorities believed to be Fentanyl, found in the car. Beckwith was in possession of one bag that contained portions of the Methamphetamine, the alleged Fentanyl and pills. Following the traffic stop, law enforcement obtained a search warrant for a residence believed to be associated with one of the other individuals in the car with Beckwith. Police found 291 grams of Methamphetamine, 16 and a half grams of a substance that was either Methamphetamine or Fentanyl and seven sets of scales at the home. There were also three loaded handguns found. One of the firearms had the serial number removed. Beckwith and the two individuals were arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Beckwith was charged with manufacture/delivery/sell/possession of Methamphetamine, schedule II drug violations, two counts of simple possession/casual exchange and unlawful drug paraphernalia. Jelly Roll, 41, and Beckwith dated before he became a country superstar. During their relationship, the pair both struggled with substance abuse and spent time in prison. Beckwith gave birth to their daughter while Jelly Roll was behind bars. After welcoming Bailee, Jelly Roll turned his life around to be there for his child. “I’ve never had nothing in life that urged me in the moment to know that I had to do something different. I have to figure this out right now,” he recalled of learning he was a dad during a 2023 interview with Billboard. However, the journey to fatherhood wasn’t easy for the “Son of a Sinner” musician. Jelly Roll, who also shares son Noah with ex Melissa Ann Cowell, went to court to fight for custody of Bailee. He and Bunnie Xo were ultimately granted custody in 2017 and Bailee has since graduated from high school. (Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo called it quits earlier this month after a decade of marriage.) "She made me go to court to even see [my daughter],” the singer said in his 2023 documentary Jelly Roll: Save Me. “I barely got to see her in the early years because I was traveling so much. I was a very less-than-present father."

Why Jake Ferguson and Haley Cavinder Banned Kids From Their Wedding New

Why Jake Ferguson and Haley Cavinder Banned Kids From Their Wedding

Dallas Cowboys star Jake Ferguson was not going to let his wedding turn into a glorified autograph session for his quarterback, Dak Prescott.  Ferguson, 27, and former University of Miami basketball player Haley Cavinder got married on Saturday, June 20, with one strict rule in place: absolutely no kids allowed.  “I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking Dak Prescott for a picture,” Ferguson told GQ in a story published on Monday, June 22. “I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.” Ferguson and Cavinder, 25, tied the knot at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, a venue that Cavinder immediately knew was the one when they checked it out. “I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, this works! Let’s get married here,’” she told GQ.  When it came time to plan the details of their wedding, the couple had decidedly different roles.  “I’m very type A with scheduling and stuff,” Cavinder said. “But I never was like, ‘It’s my wedding day, let’s go to Pinterest!’ I’m not a big detailed girlie about flowers. I just have never been to a wedding and judged the flowers. I wish I had that in me!”  She added, “At the food tasting, Jake got hammered, ate everything, and was like, ‘I want all this food.’ So that was his involvement.” While Ferguson left most of the logistics to his new wife, the NFL star did have one request for the ceremony: a ranch fountain.  “He’s obsessed with ranch,” Cavinder said.  Cavinder wore a custom lace princess gown from designer Galia Lahav, who has also designed wedding dresses for Simone Biles, Vanessa Hudgens and Paris Hilton.  The couple entered their wedding reception to “Fergalicious” by Fergie and had their first dance to Brad Paisley’s “Then.” While the couple now gets to bash in their newlywed bliss, Ferguson said there’s still some “debate” about how the pair actually met.  “She liked a couple of my pictures, the typical social media thing, and then I slid into her DMs,” he told GQ.  However, Cavinder responded, “He likes to say I slid in.” “She liked all my pictures!” Ferguson argued. “She was living down in Miami at the time, and my parents live in Fort Myers Beach. We had talked on the phone a little bit, and I was like, ‘Hey, I’m going to be down in Florida. Would you like to grab dinner and do something?’”  After their first date, Ferguson recalled the couple hanging out 10 days in a row.  “It was pretty immediate for me,” he said. “I was like, ‘Yeah I want to marry her.’”

Supreme Court's Decision on Green Card Holders Sparks Major Reactions New

Supreme Court's Decision on Green Card Holders Sparks Major Reactions

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration Tuesday, allowing immigration officials to deny green card holders admission to the country. The court’s 6-3 ruling in Blanche, Acting Attorney General v. Lau allows border officials to deny admission — permission to remain in the U.S. indefinitely — to a legal permanent resident (LPR) suspected of crime under certain circumstances, authorizing officials to parole such LPRs instead.Authorities typically view LPRs as already admitted to the U.S. when they return from temporary travel, under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This allows traveling green card holders to avoid the rigorous processing new immigrants must undergo. However, the INA provides an exception when an official believes the LPR has committed a “crime involving moral turpitude,” according to court documents. The court ruled border officials do not need to have “clear and convincing evidence that a lawful permanent resident has committed” such a crime before they consider denying that resident admission, according to Justice Clarence Thomas‘ majority opinion. 🚨 In a 6-3 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that the INA does not require a border officer to have clear and convincing evidence that a lawful permanent resident has committed a crime involving moral turpitude before deeming the resident an applicant for admission. pic.twitter.com/0iNLoRp2yb — SCOTUS Wire (@scotus_wire) June 23, 2026 The case came to the court after Muk Choi Lau, a Chinese citizen and green card holder, appealed an immigration officer’s 2012 decision to place him on parole after he returned from a short trip. New Jersey had accused Lau of trademark counterfeit in May 2012, but Lau decided to travel to China prior to the trial and was paroled upon his return. Lau appealed the parole, arguing the government should have designated him as an “already admitted” LPR instead of labeling him as an applicant “seeking admission,” according to court documents. This distinction allowed the Department of Homeland Security to take swifter action in deporting him.Trump administration officials argued that suspicion of a crime is a sufficient reason for placing an LPR on immigrant parole.Blanche v. Lau overturned a Second Circuit Court’s ruling that border officials need “clear and convincing evidence” of crime prior to denying admission, instead concluding that Lau had been “correctly charged with inadmissibility.” (RELATED: Judge Shuts Down Trump Admin Database Used To Remove Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls)“At step one, the Government regarded him as an alien seeking admission because he had committed a crime involving moral turpitude before attempting to reenter the country. At step two, he was inadmissible and therefore removable because he had been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude,” the majority opinion reads.Justice Ketanji Brown wrote the dissenting opinion, with Associate Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan concurring. Brown argued that the court’s decision “allows the Government to deem an LPR to be ‘seeking an admission’ first and justify the applicability of an exception later — undermining the statutory scheme as well as the benefits and security that come with having a green card,” according to court documents.
