The Inbetweeners 3 Set Photos Spark a Surprising Flashback Theory New

The Inbetweeners 3 Set Photos Spark a Surprising Flashback Theory

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Up Next Previous Page Next Page Filming on The Inbetweeners 3 is well underway, but new set photos have left fans more confused than Neil trying to work out what Swansea is. Spoilers: it’s not an animal. Anyway, new set photos show the boys — Will, Jay, Simon, and Neil — back on their old estate and getting into trouble. It’s just like old times. In fact, it’s a little too much like old times for some fans, who are wondering why the lads are still dressing like they’re teenagers. After all, the boys are in their late thirties to early forties now; you’d expect their sartorial tastes to have changed with the time, and you’d definitely have thought Simon would have outgrown looking like a spotty baby crossed with the Statue of Liberty. You’ve got a lot of gel in your hair, Simon. It smells quite strongly. (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) The boys are back in town… or the suburbs (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) ‘I hope there’s a lore reason that Jay is wearing that still and him and Simon have the same hair,’ wrote rchius9 on Reddit. ‘I really dislike legacy sequels where the characters haven’t grown or aesthetically changed in any way.’ ‘As fun as it is to see Simon’s hair gelled, it does make me kind of worried,’ agreed AlexMercer28900. Filming was taking place at Simon’s old house (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) Why is Jay still wearing that jacket… wait, is that Tara?! Beepity beep beep! (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) ‘I really don’t want these guys to act the same way in their 40s like they did when they played teenagers. Simon spiking up his hair when he’s almost middle-aged, I hope, is the outlier and not something that will be consistent throughout.’ Rasples1998, however, had a slightly more nuanced take on the characters still looking the same. ‘I think the point is that they got older but never grew up,’ they wrote. ‘I’d expect the theme of this to be about maturing and personal growth and for the boys to finally start acting like adults and taking responsibility, but I’m just guessing.’ It is Tara (Beepity beep beep!), and she’s pregnant (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) I bet it still has a tape deck (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) Others, however, have a different theory, and it involves another returning character, Simon’s ex, Tara (beepity beep beep!). In the photos, a pregnant Tara can be seen standing about, and that’s got some people wondering if this might be a flashback to the boy’s younger days, which would also explain why Simon’s car, the iconic yellow Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii, is still up and running. Is he a police fwend? (Picture: GoffPhotos.com) Another user said, ‘Simon’s gelled hair is interesting’ because there are photos where he doesn’t have the iconic greasy crown. ‘It could make sense [if this is a flashback],’ they wrote. ‘Or maybe in the film they decide because they are back together to dress like how they used to for a laugh. ‘Tara dresses the same as well, so I’m not sure if it’s meant to be a flashback or present day. I find the Inbetweeners doing flashbacks out of the ordinary, though.’ Sadly, we can’t say what’s happening at this point. All we know is that the film will contain a fairly innocuous jamboree of adolescent nonsense, and which Inbetweeners fans wouldn’t want that?

Portokalli’s Joke About the Protest Sparks Debate: Should Satire Have Limits? New

Portokalli’s Joke About the Protest Sparks Debate: Should Satire Have Limits?

Pikërisht aty fillon materiali i humorit. Turma me mikrofon? As të qeverisë.

Trump’s Firing Squad Move Puts These Five States in Focus New

Trump’s Firing Squad Move Puts These Five States in Focus

President Donald Trump has ordered for Nidal Hasan, the former U.S. Army psychiatrist who gunned down 13 unarmed U.S. soldiers in Fort Hood, Texas, in 2009, to be executed by firing squad.Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said on social media that the suggestion to use the firing squad was made by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and later approved by the president. The mass shooter, who was sentenced to death by a military jury in 2013, is set to become the first U.S. soldier to be executed in more than 60 years....But use of this particular method of execution—and call for introducing it in states that do not allow it—is on the rise across the country after the Trump administration reintroduced firing squads, electrocution and gas asphyxiation as alternative methods of executing people sentenced to the death penalty in April, especially as concerns over the use of the lethal injections pile up.What Does Execution by Firing Squad Mean?Firing squad is one of five methods of carrying out the death penalty that the U.S. has used historically, including lethal injection, electrocution, gas and hanging. The firing squad has been used only six times since 1977, when the use of capital punishment resumed after a 10-year pause. Trump added it to the permissible forms of execution for the gravest of federal crimes last year, though it remains rare.Lethal injection has historically been the most commonly used method since 1976, followed by electrocution, while hanging is currently illegal in all U.S. states. Which States Allow Execution by Firing Squad? There is a difference between the majority of executions in the U.S. and those involving U.S. Army personnel. Under military law, any military execution requires appellate review and a final judgment on its legality to move forward, after which it needs to be approved by the U.S. president. Most of the executions not involving U.S. Army personnel are carried out at the state level, at least in those 27 states where capital punishment is still legal. These include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.California, Ohio, Oregon and Pennsylvania do not actively execute sentences either due to an official governor’s moratorium. Oregon and Wyoming have no inmates on death row.A total of 23 states and Washington, D.C., have completely abolished capital punishment.Within the 21 states that have the active authority and capability to carry out executions, only five allow executions to happen by firing squad, including Idaho, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Utah. While in most cases inmates can choose between different methods of execution, as of July 1, 2026, the firing squad is Idaho’s primary execution method.Tennessee’s inmate Christa Pike recently asked to be executed by firing squad, but the state only authorizes lethal injection and electrocution as methods of capital punishment. A Tennessee congressman, House Speaker Cameron Sexton, is now asking the state to consider the firing squad after Pike survived the lethal injection. Newsweek contacted Sexton's office for comment by email on Tuesday and is awaiting a response....How Does Execution by Firing Squad Work? In an execution by firing squad, a group of trained individuals, made up of anonymous volunteers from state corrections, law enforcement departments or the military, shoot simultaneously with firearms at a condemned, restrained inmate. Those shooting are aiming for the inmate’s heart. The composition of the firing squad can vary, with South Carolina using firing squads made of three volunteers and Utah using squads of five certified local law enforcement officers or peace officers....In South Carolina, prisoners are strapped to a metal chair that sits on a catch basin, according to The Associated Press, some 15 feet away from the firing squad. The squad uses bullets that are designed to break apart on impact, causing maximum damage to the heart. The idea of having multiple people firing at the same target at the same time helps prevent anyone from knowing who exactly might have fired the deadly shot. When Was the Last Firing Squad Execution? Until last year, executions by firing squad were rare in the U.S. and something of a relic of the past. But between March and November, three executions by firing squad were carried out in South Carolina, including that of Brad Keith Sigmon in March, that of Mikal Mahdi in April and that of Stephen Corey Bryant in November.Sigmon’s execution was the first by firing squad in the country since that of Ronnie Lee Gardner in 2010 and the first ever to be carried out in South Carolina. Sigmon had been given two death sentences in 2002 for the double murder of his ex-girlfriend’s parents in 2001.Mahdi was sentenced to death in 2006 after murdering at least two people in a multistate crime spree, including off-duty police officer James Myers. Bryant was sentenced to death in 2008 after killing three people in October 2004....All three men chose to be executed by firing squad, as, under a South Carolina law passed in 2021, inmates have the option to pick between firing squad, the electric chair or lethal injection. In 2024, the state’s Supreme Court ruled that all three methods—the firing squad, the electric chair and lethal injection—are legal and the firing squad is not cruel, as a prisoner would not suffer longer than 15 seconds.Mahdi’s execution, however, raised questions of whether it is a humane method of executing an inmate, as an autopsy commissioned by the state found that man might have suffered for an extended period of time before dying because shooters missed his heart. When Will Hasan Be Executed?Hasan was a U.S. Army psychiatrist from Virginia who became radicalized after his mother’s death, when his embracing of religious conservatism alienated from his own family, according to a study by the Program on Extremism by The George Washington University. On November 5, 2009, he shouted "Allahu akbar" and opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 unarmed U.S. soldiers and injuring 32 more. The shooting has become known as one of the most infamous cases of lone-actor terrorism, and it was the deadliest ever noncombat attack on a U.S. military base. The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution, according to Parnell. "Judgement day for Hasan has finally come," the Pentagon spokesperson wrote. Hegseth wrote on social media, sharing Parnell’s post on X: "Justice."Three other inmates are currently on the U.S. military’s death row with Hasan.Newsweek’s reporters and editors used Martyn, our AI assistant, to produce this story. Albania Closer to the EU? The New Package Reveals What Comes Next New

Albania Closer to the EU? The New Package Reveals What Comes Next

Sursa foto: Marius Lulea/Facebook Editor : A.R.

Anojan Sivarasa Faces Death Sentence Despite Deleting Post and Apologising New

Anojan Sivarasa Faces Death Sentence Despite Deleting Post and Apologising

Updated 12:57 6 Oct 2026 GMT+1Published 10:28 6 Oct 2026 GMT+1Saudi Arabia publicly beheaded someone for blasphemy as recently as 1992Desperate diplomatic attempts are being made to halt the execution of a 24-year-old man from Sri Lanka over a now-deleted Facebook post.Anojan Sivarasa had moved to Saudi Arabia and has been given the death sentence in the country after being found guilty of blasphemy against Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. The alleged blasphemy was in a comment that the 24-year-old had made on Facebook, which has since been deleted, and the case has now caused shock in Sri Lanka, where the government has launched diplomatic efforts to prevent the execution from being carried out.Anojan made the comment during an argument on social media which resulted from an incident during a Hindu pilgrimage in Sri Lanka, where video footage of a young Muslim man kicking a dog which had been following Hindu pilgrims began to spread online.AdvertThis led to outrage online, and during the argument, a user made insulting remarks about a Hindu god.Anojan Sivarasa parents have met with the president of Sri Lanka (Instagram/anurakumaraofficial)Anojan responded to this with derogatory comments about the Prophet Muhammad, written in Tamil, which he swiftly deleted before posting a video apologising for the comment. However, a screenshot of the comments had been taken, which was shared with officials in Saudi Arabia and his employer, and he was arrested in July.Anojan's accounts have since been deleted after Saudi authorities seized his devices. His brother Hamsidan Sivarasa told the BBC: "People in Saudi Arabia knew nothing about this matter. It was individuals in Sri Lanka who sent emails to the company where my brother worked. I do not even wish to mention who those people are."Anojan's mother has also issued a plea for her son's life, saying: "I plead for mercy for the wrongs committed by my son. Please forgive him and send him back to us."People accused of blasphemy in Saudi Arabia who faced death penalty (LADbible/ITV/Supplied)Initially, Anojan was given a sentence of five years in prison, and a fine of 3 million Saudi riyals, just over £600,000, but on 17 September Saudi prosecutors filed an appeal that he be tried under Sharia Law instead of cybercrime law, with an appeal court allowing this request, meaning that the sentence became the death penalty. The last person to be executed for blasphemy in Saudi Arabia was 23-year-old Sadeq Abdul Kareem Malallah, who was beheaded in 1992 for insulting 'God, the holy Koran and Muhammad the prophet'.Sri Lanka's government is now pursuing all options in an effort to commute the sentence and obtain a general pardon, with Anojan's family meeting Sri Lankan president Anura Kumara Dissanayake on 21 September, where he told the family the government was directing diplomatic efforts at the case.A legal delegation from Sri Lanka is travelling to Saudi Arabia to meet with defence lawyers representing Anojan.Upul Kumarapperuma, President's Counsel, is a member of the team, and said: "There are two law firms in Saudi Arabia handling Anojan's case. We are going there to meet the lawyers from these two firms, discuss the case and plan what can be done next."The general law court in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (AFP via Getty Images)Anojan has lost communication with his family, with his brother saying on 28 September that they had not had word from him in two days.At present, Saudi authorities have not made public any official timeline indicating when the execution is scheduled to be carried out, and the country has previously executed people with no warning to either their families or embassies.Saudi Arabia has a large population of people from South Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. The majority of executions carried out in Saudi Arabia are for drugs offences or murder.According to Amnesty International, of the 96 people executed in Sri Lanka between 1 January and 22 June 2026, 39 were foreign nationals and 61 were executed for drug offences.Featured Image Credit: Facebook/Anojan SivarasaTopics: World News, Crime, News, Saudi Arabia

7 Quiet Ways You Abandon Yourself to Keep the Peace New

7 Quiet Ways You Abandon Yourself to Keep the Peace

1. You agree before checking what you actually wantSomeone asks for a favor, and “sure” leaves your mouth before you notice the tension in your body. The problem is not generosity; it is skipping your own response to avoid disappointing someone.Create a small pause before committing. Try, “Let me check and get back to you.” That sentence gives your real preference time to surface. A thoughtful answer may feel less pleasing in the moment, but it prevents obligations you later perform with exhaustion or resentment.2. You turn a simple no into a courtroom defenseWhen declining something requires a long explanation, you may be trying to make your boundary impossible to challenge. Unfortunately, extra reasons often give people more material to debate: they solve one obstacle, question another, and keep pushing.Practice offering less evidence. “I can’t make it, but thank you for inviting me” is complete. You can be warm without presenting a case. A respectful person does not need your refusal to pass a test before accepting it.3. You treat other people’s moods as your responsibilityA partner becomes quiet, a colleague looks irritated, or a parent sounds disappointed—and you immediately start repairing the atmosphere. You apologize, become extra agreeable, or abandon your plans before anyone has asked you to.Other people’s feelings can matter without becoming your assignment. Instead of guessing, ask once: “Is something wrong that we need to discuss?” If the answer is no, resist performing emotional rescue. Discomfort in the room does not automatically mean you caused it.4. You edit your memory when someone dismisses your hurtYou clearly remember a cutting remark, but after hearing “You’re too sensitive,” you begin rewriting the event. Maybe it was harmless. Maybe you imagined the tone. This habit teaches you to trust another person’s interpretation more than your own experience. You do not need to prove malicious intent to acknowledge impact. Write down what happened before discussing it, including the exact words and how you responded. The goal is not to build a prosecution; it is to remain anchored in what you experienced.5. You use humor to make disrespect easier to swallowLaughing can be a graceful way to handle awkwardness, but it can also hide the moment you felt belittled. You join the joke so nobody calls you difficult, then replay it privately long after everyone else has moved on.Try responding without hostility or a smile: “That didn’t land well with me.” Calm directness gives the other person a chance to correct course. More importantly, it shows you that belonging does not have to depend on pretending something painless was funny.6. You stay loyal to potential instead of present behaviorSelf-abandonment can look like endless patience with someone’s future version. You focus on apologies, promises, or occasional tenderness while minimizing the pattern that repeatedly leaves you anxious, depleted, or unseen.Hope is not foolish, but it needs evidence. Compare what the person says with what consistently happens over time. Ask yourself whether you would recommend this situation to someone you love. Relationships should be evaluated by recurring behavior, not by the most beautiful explanation for why that behavior might eventually change.7. Your resentment says what your politeness keeps hidingResentment often arrives after too many unspoken yeses. You may blame others for taking what you repeatedly offered, even when they never understood the cost. That does not make the feeling unfair; it makes it informative.Instead of shaming yourself for being bitter, identify the concealed boundary beneath it. Perhaps you need more notice, shared effort, privacy, or permission to decline. Express the need before resentment hardens into contempt. Peace built on your silence is not genuine peace.
