Why Jake Ferguson and Haley Cavinder Banned Kids From Their Wedding New

Why Jake Ferguson and Haley Cavinder Banned Kids From Their Wedding

Dallas Cowboys star Jake Ferguson was not going to let his wedding turn into a glorified autograph session for his quarterback, Dak Prescott.  Ferguson, 27, and former University of Miami basketball player Haley Cavinder got married on Saturday, June 20, with one strict rule in place: absolutely no kids allowed.  “I knew for a fact my little cousins would be asking Dak Prescott for a picture,” Ferguson told GQ in a story published on Monday, June 22. “I just didn’t want that to happen, because I wanted him to let loose a little bit.” Ferguson and Cavinder, 25, tied the knot at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, a venue that Cavinder immediately knew was the one when they checked it out. “I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, this works! Let’s get married here,’” she told GQ.  When it came time to plan the details of their wedding, the couple had decidedly different roles.  “I’m very type A with scheduling and stuff,” Cavinder said. “But I never was like, ‘It’s my wedding day, let’s go to Pinterest!’ I’m not a big detailed girlie about flowers. I just have never been to a wedding and judged the flowers. I wish I had that in me!”  She added, “At the food tasting, Jake got hammered, ate everything, and was like, ‘I want all this food.’ So that was his involvement.” While Ferguson left most of the logistics to his new wife, the NFL star did have one request for the ceremony: a ranch fountain.  “He’s obsessed with ranch,” Cavinder said.  Cavinder wore a custom lace princess gown from designer Galia Lahav, who has also designed wedding dresses for Simone Biles, Vanessa Hudgens and Paris Hilton.  The couple entered their wedding reception to “Fergalicious” by Fergie and had their first dance to Brad Paisley’s “Then.” While the couple now gets to bash in their newlywed bliss, Ferguson said there’s still some “debate” about how the pair actually met.  “She liked a couple of my pictures, the typical social media thing, and then I slid into her DMs,” he told GQ.  However, Cavinder responded, “He likes to say I slid in.” “She liked all my pictures!” Ferguson argued. “She was living down in Miami at the time, and my parents live in Fort Myers Beach. We had talked on the phone a little bit, and I was like, ‘Hey, I’m going to be down in Florida. Would you like to grab dinner and do something?’”  After their first date, Ferguson recalled the couple hanging out 10 days in a row.  “It was pretty immediate for me,” he said. “I was like, ‘Yeah I want to marry her.’”

Supreme Court's Decision on Green Card Holders Sparks Major Reactions New

Supreme Court's Decision on Green Card Holders Sparks Major Reactions

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Trump administration Tuesday, allowing immigration officials to deny green card holders admission to the country. The court’s 6-3 ruling in Blanche, Acting Attorney General v. Lau allows border officials to deny admission — permission to remain in the U.S. indefinitely — to a legal permanent resident (LPR) suspected of crime under certain circumstances, authorizing officials to parole such LPRs instead.Authorities typically view LPRs as already admitted to the U.S. when they return from temporary travel, under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This allows traveling green card holders to avoid the rigorous processing new immigrants must undergo. However, the INA provides an exception when an official believes the LPR has committed a “crime involving moral turpitude,” according to court documents. The court ruled border officials do not need to have “clear and convincing evidence that a lawful permanent resident has committed” such a crime before they consider denying that resident admission, according to Justice Clarence Thomas‘ majority opinion. 🚨 In a 6-3 vote, the Supreme Court ruled that the INA does not require a border officer to have clear and convincing evidence that a lawful permanent resident has committed a crime involving moral turpitude before deeming the resident an applicant for admission. pic.twitter.com/0iNLoRp2yb — SCOTUS Wire (@scotus_wire) June 23, 2026 The case came to the court after Muk Choi Lau, a Chinese citizen and green card holder, appealed an immigration officer’s 2012 decision to place him on parole after he returned from a short trip. New Jersey had accused Lau of trademark counterfeit in May 2012, but Lau decided to travel to China prior to the trial and was paroled upon his return. Lau appealed the parole, arguing the government should have designated him as an “already admitted” LPR instead of labeling him as an applicant “seeking admission,” according to court documents. This distinction allowed the Department of Homeland Security to take swifter action in deporting him.Trump administration officials argued that suspicion of a crime is a sufficient reason for placing an LPR on immigrant parole.Blanche v. Lau overturned a Second Circuit Court’s ruling that border officials need “clear and convincing evidence” of crime prior to denying admission, instead concluding that Lau had been “correctly charged with inadmissibility.” (RELATED: Judge Shuts Down Trump Admin Database Used To Remove Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls)“At step one, the Government regarded him as an alien seeking admission because he had committed a crime involving moral turpitude before attempting to reenter the country. At step two, he was inadmissible and therefore removable because he had been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude,” the majority opinion reads.Justice Ketanji Brown wrote the dissenting opinion, with Associate Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan concurring. Brown argued that the court’s decision “allows the Government to deem an LPR to be ‘seeking an admission’ first and justify the applicability of an exception later — undermining the statutory scheme as well as the benefits and security that come with having a green card,” according to court documents.

Karmelo Anthony's Parents Cause Stir by Skipping Son's Sentencing

Austin Metcalf’s grieving dad scolded Karmelo Anthony’s parents for fleeing the courtroom after the teen was convicted of murder — skipping the emotional statements from victims and leaving Anthony high and dry during sentencing.Jeff Metcalf expressed empathy to Anthony, now 19, while condemning his parents for not sitting through the entire proceedings at the courthouse in McKinney, Texas, earlier this month. The teen was ultimately sentenced to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of Austin Metcalf at a track meet in April 2025.Austin Metcalf’s dad, Jeff, blasted Karmelo Anthony’s parents for not sitting through the full court proceedings in their son’s murder trial earlier this month. Fox NewsThe elder Metcalf said Anthony’s parents, Kala Hayes and Andrew Anthony, failed to return to the courthouse after the guilty verdict was handed down – leaving their son to learn his fate while they peddled the narrative he wasn’t given a fair trial.“They weren’t there for the sentencing and they were not there for victim impact statements,” Metcalf told Fox News host Will Cain. “They left that poor child up there by himself.”Metcalf told Cain that he hasn’t spoken to Anthony’s parents since the stabbing at the high school track meet at Frisco’s Kuykendall Stadium where 17-year-old Austin’s heart was pierced with a $13 Walmart knife. He was also asked if he had received an apology, to which he replied, “No.”“I was hoping for some accountability maybe and some remorse,” he said. “Neither one was shown.”Anthony’s family consistently claimed the trial had racist undertones. Jared Downing / NY PostAnthony’s legal team is already gearing up to file an appeal — and six lawyers confirmed they will be representing him pro bono, meaning free of charge. He previously claimed he was “penniless” despite his family raking in over $600,000 in crowdfunding for his legal defense. Here’s the latest on Karmelo Anthony’s murder conviction: Austin Metcalf’s dad blasts Karmelo Anthony’s family for skipping sentencing, missing their statements Austin Metcalf’s dad slams ‘moral decay of society’ as killer Karmelo Anthony mounts fresh freedom bid Moment Karmelo Anthony stabs Austin Metcalf and flees revealed in new surveillance footage Karmelo Anthony murmurs ‘I’m not alleged, I did it,’ cries during arrest for Austin Metcalf’s murder: bodycam His parents, meanwhile, have consistently claimed he isn’t a killer, and have insinuated the trial was peppered with racist undertones.Metcalf, a junior at Memorial High School in Frisco, was stabbed in April 2025. Meghan Prall Metcalf/Facebook“My son is no murderer,” she told CBS the day after the sentencing.“My son was defending himself, and that’s what hurts so bad.”Hayes also berated witnesses who testified, claiming “everyone lied on the stand.”Anthony, seen in his mugshot with his head shaven, has filed notice of appeal. Texas Dept. of Criminal JusticeShe also alleged that jurors had already made up their mind before the trial got underway, Court TV reported.Anthony’s family and his legion of supporters have claimed he was the victim of racism. His grandmother, Toni Hayes, was filmed shouting “Racist!” leaving the courthouse.Former federal prosecutor Sunny Hostin, who is a co-host on “The View, suggested Monday that Anthony didn’t have a jury of his peers — referring to Batson challenges, when one side in a trial argues that the other side is using unconstitutional grounds to dismiss a potential juror, such as race, ethnicity or gender.“You’re supposed to have a jury of your peers — you’re not just supposed to strike someone because they’re black,” she said. “I don’t think he had a jury of his peers, so on appeal there is a legitimate thing.”Anthony’s team filed a notice of appeal less than 24 hours after the guilty verdict. But it doesn’t mean he will face a new trial. It could take several months for the appeal process to run its course.

Why Anthony Fauci's Past Decisions Are Sparking New Outrage New

Why Anthony Fauci's Past Decisions Are Sparking New Outrage

A protester wears a t-shirt with an image of Anthony Fauci outside the Royal Exchange on September 17, 2022 in London, England. Protesters are demanding that leaders who put together the Covid response over the last few years are held to account. They argue their poor and sinister decisions are responsible for the cost of living crisis, vaccine deaths and injuries and a move towards digital ID and currency. (Photo by Martin Pope/Getty Images)Greetings, Dear Reader,We’re going to keep this one short. Homie’s got tons to do and little time to do it.It was a little more than 100 years ago that Walter Lippmann referred to the media as a “spotlight.” According to Lippmann, there was so much going on in the world that a media functioning properly as a steward of the people would “spotlight” those issues and happenings of most pertinence to its respective audience, leaving most everything else in the dark.Among intellectual elites in the world of mass communication, Lippmann would go on to become the godfather of both modern journalism and public relations. There is, more times than not lately, little difference between the two.Lippmann would also coin the term “manufacture of consent” – often attributed to Noam Chomsky – and while so doing, at least admit that institutions most relied upon to reveal and “spotlight” truth could also be used for the purposes of propaganda. He was 100 years ahead of the wider public in pointing out how individual reporters would feel compelled to construct “narratives.”A collection of anecdotal stories could and would reasonably be cast into a much larger story, regardless of whether the whole was as true as the parts. The most recent glaring example of this penchant gone awry was Washington Post’s series on police killings of unarmed black men.It was of course happening on a case-by-case, but the wider trend was never really there, as Harvard’s Roland Fryer would definitively prove not once but twice, but far too late to prevent the damage of the misinformation. There was at least some hope in Lippmann’s writing. He was an optimist. He was also a bit of a scientist, at least on the social level, and his writings fortified a burgeoning “scientific” approach to journalism that many elite journalism schools had already been adopting. It’s not enough to point out that something is happening, we must teach writers and reporters the best ways to present the information so that the ignorant (through no fault of their own) masses will actually believe the story. If a lot of this sounds familiar, it’s because after 100 years of near unanimous support, the population is waking up to the tricks of the trade just when they seem to be at the peak of their most skulduggerous and ethically void deployment. The media wants you to care about Trump’s efforts to fix the reflecting pool in Washington, DC. Hundreds of column inches (Chomsky’s idiosyncratic method for judging how much the media cared about an issue) and thousands of minutes of broadcast have been dedicated to Trump spending taxpayer money on the reflecting pool. The bombardment of the population with this coverage has led to now at least dozens of average citizens who have sought to deface the reflecting pool. The coverage and resulting outrage led one conservative commentator to marvel at what the media could get done if it focused on immigrant fraud rings. It’s an eminently more pressing and more expensive issue and one that almost certainly affects average Americans – as they attempt to procure health care, housing and the like – more than Donald Trump spending $15 million on cleaning up a national monument.Stop any of these people taking time out of their day to rip the new sealant off the reflecting pool and ask them what’s most likely to bring on the apocalypse, and they’ll undoubtedly say oil companies. Some might say Elon Musk. Most, though, would be likely to cite fossil fuels and “climate change.”In one of her final acts as Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard released a trove of documents on Anthony Fauci and so called “gain of function” research.Reporters, like me, who had already done the work were not really surprised by any of it. Fauci shunted taxpayer funds to risky research and he helped those grants avoid oversight they were legally bound to receive. To characterize the risk properly, I should say that the folks who pioneered this research seriously thought they could feasibly kill 99 out of every 100 humans on earth with its products. Highly infectious, highly fatal strains of bespoke viruses designed specifically to infect and kill humans. In many ways, COVID-19, which we’re now almost sure was a direct product of Fauci’s decision-making, was a godsend. It was merely a cold and even as it locked up much of the modern world, it wasn’t all that fatal. Just 20 million or so people died. Really a drop in the bucket compared to the potential of the technology.Still, in a world of madmen charting high scores, that would put old Anthony somewhere in between Hitler and Mao, but still below Stalin.Mystifying yet still is that we found out China wasn’t the only one. There were in fact biolabs like Wuhan’s in places like Ukraine and many other post-Soviet states. You know, the ones most well known for political instability. This was all done under the umbrella of “Threat Reduction,” which should be a giant sign that the threat was not actually reduced. In a fairer world, with more honest reporters, this story would demand a response. Fauci is currently outside the statute of limitations for lying to Congress, which he definitely did multiple times. He also conspired with institutions and individuals to mislead the public about his role in all this. Twenty million people died and our investigative arms were looking for pangolins and red haired rat dogs instead of at the funding for risky research. There must be some crime there, no?But no, they want you to freak out about Trump’s reflecting pool. Or some MMA guy saying Michelle Obama has a penis. Incel mass shooters in Montreal. Elon Musk is a trillionaire and somehow that’s a threat to my well being that must and can only be addressed by a flat 5% wealth seizure.Look at anything besides the Wizard behind the curtain who will collect $400,000 in government pension payments every year until he is dead.Until he joins the 20 million people he helped kill.ROOKE: Something Weird Keeps Happening Now That Trump Neutered USAIDThank god we did that.‘How Long Did You Have Breasts?’: Wrapped In Color And Cartoon, NYT Faces Backlash For Father’s Day Op-EdGross.Vance Takes Center Stage In White House Push To Protect GOP MajorityThe political clouds are clearing, the sky is opening up.Like what you’re reading? Why Prince Harry's Kids Won't Meet Royal Cousins During UK Visit New

Why Prince Harry's Kids Won't Meet Royal Cousins During UK Visit

Busy schedules will likely prevent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children from reuniting with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids during the Sussexes’ upcoming UK visit.Royal commentator Amanda Matta told Page Six “there is no indication” that Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, will cross paths with Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8.“Even if relations are gradually improving, the Wales household likely has a full schedule already in place for the summer, and any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved,” Matta explained.Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s kids (seen above with their parents) likely won’t see their royal cousins during their upcoming UK trip, royal experts claimed. meghan/InstagramPrince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis (seen above in 2025) likely have a “full schedule already,” royal commentator Amanda Matta told us. UK Press via Getty ImagesThe “Off With Their Heads” podcast host explained that the tensions between the brothers and their wives could be “the biggest hurdle” to get through in order for the cousins to reunite.“Particularly if Catherine were to be involved in any potential plans,” Matta added.Royal reporter Emily Nash told Page Six that it’s “far too soon to say” if the cousins will gather, but that she doesn’t expect a reunion during this visit. “I mean, you never know. If it was part of a wider family gathering, it’s possible they could be at the same place at the same time,” Nash said. “But, you know, given the very fractious nature of the relationship between William and Harry, I don’t see them rushing to spend time together just because Harry’s back in the UK.” “Any reunion involving the cousins would require tons of planning and goodwill from all parties involved,” Matta explained. (Middleton is seen here with her husband and kids in 2025). WireImageWhen asked whether the feuding princes want their kids to know their cousins, Nash replied, “I think that’s the sort of question for down the line.”“I think, fundamentally, you have two brothers here who were not speaking to one another,” she explained. “That is the key relationship that needs to be resolved, really, before anything elsecan happen.”However, at the core of their family dynamics, Nash believes William and Harry eventually wish for their children to form a bond. “In any family, you would hope that cousins would have a chance to spend time together and grow up together, and I’m sure they don’t feel any differently,” Nash said. Markle and Harry (seen here in 2022) are expected to visit the UK next month. Magazine, told us that their father, King Charles III, probably isn’t getting involved in the feud as he continues to try to make amends with Harry.“I think he probably is just focused on his own moment of spending time with the son he’s not seen for a long time,” Nash said of Charles, adding, “Especially potentially meeting his grandchildren … I’m sure that’s probably his primary focus right now.”Page Six confirmed last week that Harry and the “Suits” alum are going to bring their kids to the UK next month for the first time since 2022. Charles allegedly also offered to take care of their security arrangements. Markle and her kids have only visited Harry’s home country a few times since the couple quit their royal duties and moved to California in 2020, prompting the UK to strip the family’s security privileges. Tensions boiled over after Harry and Markle gave several interviews discussing their royal family’s private matters. Harry also dragged his family members in his 2023 memoir, “Spare.”While Charles was initially estranged from Harry, he has recently made an effort to welcome his youngest son back into the fold.Page Six has reached out to reps for the Sussexes and Kensington Palace.

Katie Gaudreau Honors Late Brothers by Naming Her Newborn Matthew New

Katie Gaudreau Honors Late Brothers by Naming Her Newborn Matthew

Katie Gaudreau — the sister of late hockey stars Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau — has welcomed her first baby with husband Devin Joyce. The baby boy is named Matthew, an apparent tribute to her older brother. "He’s here. ," Katie, 27, announced via Instagram on Tuesday, June 23, alongside a carousel of the newborn. "Matthew Guy Joyce. June 20, 2026 • 9:00 AM • 7lb 10oz • 20inches. The moment our hearts grew bigger than we ever imagined. Welcome to the world, sweet boy. ." Katie announced her pregnancy in February, gushing via Instagram at the time, “Our favorite news to share.” In the accompanying black-and-white video, Katie held a pair of Nike baby sneakers and ultrasound photos as she embraced Joyce, 28. The parents-to-be also showed off their matching “mom” and “dad” hats. In March, Katie offered an update on her “little miracle” as she hit the 22-week mark. “This pregnancy hasn’t looked the way I imagined it would,” she captioned black-and-white Instagram photos of her baby bump. “It hasn’t been all sunshine and excitement. There’s been a lot of uncertainty. A lot of fear. It’s been a pregnancy that’s closely monitored and carefully watched, and we’ve been surrounded by so much support. And I’m so proud of this little life.” She added, “I’m incredibly thankful for the doctors who have guided us and kept such a close eye on everything and for the guardian angels I truly believe are watching over Baby Joyce.” Katie and Joyce tied the knot in July 2025, nearly one year after postponing their wedding following the deaths of her brothers, Johnny and Matthew, in an August 2024 biking accident. The hockey players were 31 and 29, respectively. Sean M. Higgins has been accused of killing Johnny and Matthew. In December 2024, Higgins was indicted on two counts of first-degree aggravated manslaughter, two counts of second-degree reckless vehicular homicide, one count of tampering with physical evidence (fourth-degree) and leaving the scene of a fatal accident (second-degree). He pleaded not guilty to the charges. Higgins admitted to drinking prior to the accident and was arrested with a blood alcohol level of 0.087. However, Higgins’ lawyer has asked a judge to dismiss the charges against him, claiming that prosecutors misled a grand jury about the defendant’s blood alcohol content. After her brothers’ deaths, Katie paid tribute to Johnny and Matthew in a touching Instagram post. “To know these two was to love these two,” she wrote in September 2024. “There are absolutely no words I have to express the bond my family shared. The entire world knows there would never have been a John without Matty or Matty without John. The absolute best big brothers a little girl could have asked for. This will never be a goodbye post because I will never stop saying your names and honoring you both.” Katie concluded by vowing to “take the best care of” their parents, sister Kristen, Johnny’s wife, Meredith, Matthew’s wife, Madeline, and her brothers’ kids. Both Meredith and Madeline were pregnant when their husbands died. Madeline gave birth to her and Matthew’s first baby, son Tripp, in December 2024. Less than four months later, Meredith welcomed her and Johnny’s son Carter in April 2025, with the couple’s third child joining their daughter, Noa, and son Johnny.

Mbappe's Surprising Comment on Messi Leaves Fans Talking New

Mbappe's Surprising Comment on Messi Leaves Fans Talking

Fitorja u vulos me golin e Ousmane Dembeles.

Hollywood Stars Demand Action as Skid Row Dogs Face Heartbreaking Abuse New

Hollywood Stars Demand Action as Skid Row Dogs Face Heartbreaking Abuse

Ron Pearlman (right) has joined Matt Singer (left) in calling for better conditions for dogs on Skid Row. Over the past few weeks, an animal welfare crisis in the heart of Skid Row has exploded into a full-blown catastrophe after four pugs died and one French Bulldog suffered a fentanyl overdose and was left clinging to life.In response, a coalition of Hollywood big shots that includes famed Hollywood litigator Marty Singer, “Sons of Anarchy” star Ron Perlman and Oscar winner Kim Basinger, has banded together to hold Mayor Karen Bass and a derelict LAPD accountable.Members of the group are even throwing shade at City Councilwoman Nithya Raman, who will face off against Bass in a tight election this fall.Animal abuse on Los Angeles’ Skid Row has sparked outcry from Hollywood heavyweights. Joey TuccioThe ongoing crisis peaked in late May, when animal rescuers attempted to save a litter of pug puppies being illegally bred by a homeless man living within the 50-block area of downtown Los Angeles, after their mother was struck and killed by a vehicle. That left a trio of two-week-old puppies requiring bottle feeding every two hours to survive. The homeless breeder allegedly refused to surrender them.Members of the coalition say the situation was reported to the LAPD’s Lieutenant Andrew Mathes, who said he would send in undercover officers, as well as the mayor’s office.Despite repeated requests for help, no action was taken for two weeks. They say that inaction led to devastating consequences. Two puppies died from starvation, we’re told. The final surviving puppy was passed among several Skid Row inhabitants before rescuers were finally able to secure her. The puppy, later named North Star, was rushed to an emergency veterinarian. After fighting for her life for 48 hours, she passed away.In a separate Skid Row incident on June 16, a rescuer received a report about a French bulldog that had been abandoned on the street outside an encampment for several days, repeatedly losing consciousness.Compton Paw Control, with actor Joey Tuccio, transported the dog to an emergency veterinary hospital where toxicology testing revealed exposure to cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamine, MDMA and fentanyl. The male dog, later named Valor, was administered Naloxone and has begun to bounce back.A French bulldog named Valor has begun to bounce back after being rescued from an overdose on Skid Row. Joey Tuccio“Animals are being tortured on Skid Row, and a civilized society cannot allow these horrors to occur. Animal abuse is illegal and we must not tolerate it,” Singer tells Page Six Hollywood. “These brutal people need to be prosecuted just like other criminals.”The group of outraged industryites, which also include Jennifer Coolidge and Alicia Silverstone, have enlisted the legendary Hollywood lawyer best known for sending scary cease-and-desist letters on behalf of a who’s-who list of clients that has included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Jackson, Scarlett Johansson and Britney Spears over the decades.Singer, who was brought into the fray by his daughter, Los Angeles-based stylist and board member of I Stand With My Pack Rescue, Nola Singer, is considering filing additional lawsuits on behalf of the animals. In December, writer and animal advocate Rebecca Corry filed a lawsuit against Bass and the City of Los Angeles in LA Superior Court over the ongoing abuse and negligence.Corry also slams City Councilwoman Raman for pledging to protect animals and then walking out of a City Hall session as soon as the topic arose. (Raman’s office says in a statement that the mayoral candidate “welcomes further engagement with the animal welfare community about how the city can do better on improving conditions for animals.”) The nonprofit law firm, Advancing Law for Animals, has also already filed a federal complaint with the FBI and Attorney General demanding the feds step in given the inertia of the city. With the problem continuing to persist, Ron Perlman and his wife Allison Dunbar are sounding the alarm and are willing to call out Mayor Bass.“This isn’t complicated. If you’re the mayor of Los Angeles and animals are dying on your streets while there are systems, funding and agencies supposedly in place to protect them, then you are not doing your job,” Perlman says. “Meanwhile independent rescuers are fighting every day to keep these animals alive. At this point, the question is no longer awareness. It is responsibility.”A litter of pug puppies illegally bred by a homeless man in downtown Los Angeles all tragically died due to lack of proper care. Valerie Lanniello, of Wufaw United For Animal Welfare RescueThe city and state already have robust laws in place that are being ignored, according to the group — as illegal breeding and the sale of puppies for money and drugs continue openly on Skid Row with little to no enforcement, the group says.  (The LAPD did not respond to a request for comment.)Meanwhile, the same Skid Row breeder apparently has five additional pugs still in his possession. The animal advocates are particularly concerned given that pugs are a brachycephalic breed that are vulnerable to heat and susceptible to breathing difficulties. With summer temperatures rising, the remaining dogs are at serious risk while living in a tent on Skid Row.The group is urgently asking city officials — including Mayor Bass, Animal Services and law enforcement — to intervene before more animals suffer and die.Tuccio, who played a bartender on the CBS soap “Guiding Light,” has spent years documenting the abuse. “Karen is letting criminals get away with actual murder,” he says of the mayor’s inaction. (Bass did not respond to a request for comment.)“Yellowstone” actress Dunbar calls the predicament “unacceptable and heartbreaking.” She adds: “Animals are completely dependent on us, and when they are let to starve, suffer and die while resources and systems are supposedly in place to protect them, something is deeply broken in Los Angeles.”Silverstone shared on her Instagram a screenshot of a petition highlighting the issue with a picture of a dog that appears to have had its eyes glued shut or gouged out. “These dogs on Skid Row are suffering beyond the unthinkable, and they need our help. We can’t look away. Please sign if you can. Every voice matters.” The petition currently has 21,948 signatures.Basinger has also been sharing posts on Instagram to help raise awareness.Former candidate Rick Caruso has called what’s happening “a diabolical mess” that is “so disgusting it’s difficult to even talk about.”

Keke Palmer and Sean Evans: What's Really Going On?

Keke Palmer is breaking her silence about those Sean Evans romance rumors. Podcaster Jay Shetty asked Palmer, 32, whether she was “serious” about the Hot Ones host, 40, while appearing on Spotify’s Conversations That Channel Culture panel at Cannes Lions in France on Tuesday, June 23. “Oh, we’re talking about this? First of all, I love Sean Evans. I love Sean. Hey, Sean! That’s my guy,” Palmer replied, according to Page Six. “We’re hanging out.” Palmer played coy, telling the crowd that you “never know what could arise” between her and Evans. But as of right now, they’re “just tak[ing] it day by day.” Palmer quipped, “One wing at a time, so to speak.” Evans told Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg in 2023 that he had a crush on Palmer, calling her “very charming.” Palmer appeared on Hot Ones for the third time in 2025, and they addressed Evans’ viral moment. Palmer even initiated a kiss with Evans during the internet show. “There’s one more thing I’d like to say, Sean,” Palmer said at the time. “Because I saw an interview where you said, like, I was your favorite guest, you know, and all this really sweet stuff. And I know we’ve just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark.” Evans responded, “When I’m dying and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.” In the months that followed, Palmer and Evans started to spark romance rumors. Multiple outlets reported earlier this month that the duo were spotted on a date in Brooklyn. Ahead of their outing, Evans praised Palmer in a separate interview. “Working with Keke Palmer is always like a one-plus-one-equals-three situation,” he said during an FYC event at Hollywood’s Avalon on June 11. “You know who I loved interviewing was Viola Davis. I really loved interviewing Viola Davis. Paul Rudd is another one who immediately understood what we were doing and got me.” Palmer, meanwhile, recently disclosed what she’s looking for in a romantic partner. “I’m looking for, first of all, faith,” Palmer said on her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast on June 16. “I’m looking for a God-fearing man. Somebody that really loves God and the way that they treat their friends, their family, the people they work with. They actually know him embodied.” She added, “I’m looking for somebody that knows where they want to go. They are clear on that path. They are absolutely having clarity about where they want to go and who they want to be.” The Password host previously dated fitness instructor Darius Jackson, with whom she shares 3-year-old son Leo.
